Peal and boil the cocoyam till soft and pound like you would pounded yam, add small palm oil to it to reduce stickiness. When it's ready ( they maybe lumps) just dissolve into already simmering pot of orisirisi allow to boil a while then add the bitter leaf
( best if you get the fresh leaf and wash yourself cos those ones already washed may be mixed with some other leaf ) don't cook for long and it's ready.


Keep your mind off the issue and don't let it bother you(difficult I know) if you are tensed your body won't produce milk, take lots of hot fluid and keep putting her to breast and express as often as possible.

Please have it at the back of your mind that not all methods will work same way for everyone so you don't get disappointed and discouraged when it doesn't work for you! Our bodies are different and various factors send and unseen may hinder milk let down, it's just how nature made it and no fault of yours.

She sucked and was swallowing till she fell asleep this morning. Made the soup yesterday.
I pumped with manual without stress (90mils) from i)one breast as she was sucking only one well.
Dunno if all is well now. But ate the remaining soup today.

My DD started Nan1 from day 1 when i was still sleeping after surgery.... i came into my room from surgery ward n saw her eating. .

2weeks ebf... u tried....
U can still do it if u want.
Once i start lactating well i will do ebf.... after dd has finished 3tinz of nan. Lol

For stretchmarks... if i show u my tommy ehn u will say thank u Jesus for yours. Mine is not just marks... mine is tiger claws.... painful, hard....as in..... i snapped it n wanted to cry.... lol. But hay.... Motherhood over anything. Am already thinking of next baby sef. Lol.

The other day at the health center i tried bfeeding n my girl sucked a bit n started crying. I carry my bobbi inside n brought out food.
One over sabi woman wanted to beat me saying your child is still hungry.... give her breast.... i no even do like a human being was talking.... wetin concern me.

For weight i have lost 6kg from my pre pregnancy weight o.

Reason being that its not working for me since am not flowing well.
My flow is so small that expressing manually does better than using pump.

The pump is Nuby dual action.
Can be used as electrical or manual.

Comes with 6 breast pad.
Two bottles... one for storage and one for expressing.
Electrical head
Manual head.
Teet and cover for feeding.

I got it on 5th and havent used it more than twice.

My dd started that way too and also refused to nurse. I kept putting her to my breast; she would scream and reject it and it used to break my heart. I continued and five days ago she just opened her mouth and latched on.

Keep putting her to the breast and with time she will latch on.

You just chew on it and rinse with mouthwash afterwards

So sorry about that. Can you try bitterleaf soup made with cocoyam n not cornflour, it works like magic.
My sis had d same issue n tried all d tryables until she took bitterleaf soup, in less than 2hrs her breastmilk was gushing. U can give it a try.

@ capt iomoge2, pls try supplement with Nan1. What helped me was my dh massaged the areola very well to release drops into a cup, it helped to open the ducts and I also massaged the whole bre.ast with hot water (not scalding hot). My flow is better now.

She has been on Nan from day 1.
Been cleaning.... hubby too has tried....thankz much

How did you take the fenugreek? Best method for me is swallowing one table spoon of the seeds 3-4times a day consistently for 3days. ...there should be an improvement. The tea method didn't work for me. Keep pumping. .. every 4hours if possible

All will be well.... I'm sure u will be adviced to take palm wine. But please if u must take it, wait after 2-3hrs before breastfeeding due to the alcohol content in palm wine... But honestly it works but medically it's not advisable.

Have u tried fenugreek? I've heard about the palm wine therapy too. Heard it works. Sowee dear. but I'm optimistic the BM will flow....just relax. Never be frustrated o.

I did fenugreek and its what made it even start.
Right now volume is my ish....

@ iomoge2, plz do not be depressed it won't help matters I fell victim to it last month. Jayden was having issues with latching on properly so my once flowing milk started reducing, he almost ate my nipple finish and I was already thinking av failed as regards breastfeeding , formula became an option.
However I refused to give up I went online to watch videos and read everything readable about breastfeeding and I started implementing them. Trust me when I tell you that I derived pleasure in breastfeeding now, no more pain and there's adequate supply of breastmilk now, I don't even take anything to increase the supply again it comes on it's own.
One more thing I also tried palmwine once and it actually worked for me, it got to a point I started blaming myself for taking it coz d breastmilk was just flowing seamlessly.
My advice is you take it one day at a time, before you know it she will become a professional at it.

Mine is not even flowing at all.... i wish it was tips issues...
Please how should i takr the palm wine
