I am just enjoying it while it lasts. My last baby could cry for Africa from day1. I hear my neighbours babies cry tirelessly whilst he hardly cries at all. They said I should feed him every 3 hrs regardless but he prefers to sleep through the night in my arms. Compared to before, I am having a blast.

This is the new one i learnt o.
I wake to feed biko.
Cos when she goes hungry and starts ehn.... lol
Her voice is also loud.
She will just scream and then look at me. Lol

So now i wake to feed. Lol
Less crying now n we r happier. Lol

Seems d bobby is sleep enhancer, she hardly sleeps from rocking just d bobby and u dare not remove her mouth When u think she's sleeping cos she wakes immediately.
Den our marathon waking @ night......sometimes I just feel like crying
The only consolation is d Joy of motherhood. Wouldnt trade it for anything

Na hubby I dey feel for, he rocks her steady with his sleepy eyes......

Aint u lucky... lol

The other day i was so fustrated that i woke him n kept d crying baby beside him. U need to see d fear in his eyes.

He just said this girl is still hubgry na... i said no... she wants u to play with her.....
He said how I said carry her and sing 4 her... lol
It worked like a nagic. Lol. She slept off...

I was always looking @Zoey and saying... oooo she is such a sweet peaceful baby....
My mum will just give me d yinmu n say children change...

Now i believe.
See yesterday sleep pattern.
Woke 5pm, ate... disturb till 8pm. Ate again. Slept. Woke up 10pm. Ate. Disturb n slept by 11:30. Woke up 2am. Ate, disturb...i danced sang, talk...after changing diapers 3times.... used bobbi to hold mouth... till 6am wen i was fustrated n my mum came to collect her. She slept and we woke her to bath and another stress started... lol
Till now.. she just slept an hour ago.. chia...
Wants boobs in mouth n to danced to....lol

My Prince came on the 14th of November via scheduled CS weighing 3.7kg. His name is actually Prince.

He came on my parents wedding anniversary. Lost my mum so I am so happy to have my baby remind me of her.

My baby sleeps like a lamb. No vigilante yet and he doesn't cry.

Baby Eileen Chimdiebube made her grand entrance yesterday evening via V.D, weighing 3.2kg.

This can only be God.

A nurse taught me how to burp the baby in the hospital. She told me to tap from the middle of the back, around the area the stomach is and tap towards the top of his back. This she said, pushes the air trapped inside upwards and towards his mouth and allows him to burp. She demonstrated it and baby burped in less than a minute. So tap on his back upwards, beginning from the middle of his back and work your way towards his neck. The maximum time it's ever taken my baby to burp is 3 minutes.
As per diaper, if baby doesn't soil it I don't change. But maybe it's my baby, he always manages to have a moderately wet diaper in 3-4 hours and I change it. I feel guilty the day I allowed him to sleep the night in a wet but not soiled diaper. I change it immediately he poops though.

No wonder we end up sleeping there.... lol.

1. Ayomide has that hiccups too. I read its normal, it doesn't disturb them as much as it disturbs the mothers . Solutions to ease the hiccups include putting thread on the baby's head like Iomoge2's mil (just kidding). Solutions are, giving the baby water to drink (I don't do this cos Ayomide is EBF)....giving the baby a pacifier or breast to suck on. I give breast and in less than a minute the hiccups stops.

2. I need to learn too. My DH is the expert in that field and he is happy that there's something about Ayomide he knows how to do better than me.

3. Don't cover him too much. A onesie in the afternoons should do. I think sudocreme helps rashes

4. I do every 4-5 hours.

1. That shi can break my heart. Looks painful n its really after each feed. Since we r not on ebf, i give Zoey water.... just small.
2. See attached. But wen she sleeps after a meal its difficult so i place her on her left side with her tiny pillow so no matter wat, any excess milk will roll off.
3. When i saw rashes, after we started bmilk i ran to do powder paste like suga.h was advised b4. Then i always use a clothe to clean neck n apply the powder paste.... in 24hours i was looking for it.
Just make sure or limit how bmilk touches her skin. If it does, wet cloth to clean it all off.
Then i wear her singlet n pant o..... cos she csn worry.... but then i rub mentolator in her palms n feet. Then on that soft head part to prevent cold penetrating.... Thats wat my mum said sha.
4. I do as soon as she wakes 4 a feed. And sometimes i change it twice in 30mins .

Can't wait 2 see hotbaby.
