President Muhammadu Buhari has rejected the gay marriage offer by the United States of America, stating that sodomy is against the law of Nigeria and abhorrent to our culture.

The spokesperson of the president, Femi Adesina said that the issue of gay marriage was discussed during Buhari meeting in the US but he rejected the offer.


“The issue of gay marriage came up here yesterday. PMB was point blank. Sodomy is against the law in Nigeria, and abhorrent to our culture,” he posted on his Twitter handle.

But the way those Uniben students cross that road is nauseating. Some of them cross the roads as if they are strolling in their garden . Sometimes when I drive past that place and see the attitude those students display,I shake my head in pity.

Because,when they get hit,they will be the ones to die.

P.S: Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying the drivers are saints,but the students are the main culprits in issues like this.

The company named Wimpey used to be a civil construction company down Iwofe axis hence d name Wimpey rd. I know u dont live this area but d MCC are really working day n night on this road now despite d rains

Pls Wimpey rd was abandoned after City crown hotels n d contractor MCC owed over 4.5billion naira. Amaechi went ahead and commissioned d road. It is Wike dat assured d company to return to site n to b paying them 500 million monthly. Chk ur facts

Is city crown hotel road wimpey road? That is iwofe/rumuolumeni/c.o.e/ignatius ajuru road. And I know the road is being done now even though its at a slow pace and bereft of orderliness.

O.p, these guys will remain like this.I think its best we watch them exhibit their mental backwardness, while we enjoy the comic relief.

Wimpey and Ada George were done in his 2nd tenure. Even Okporo Road and all the D line internal roads, Oroazi and Eligbam + Psychiatric Road.

I never specified what tenure the roads were done.Choba/ozuoba/mgbuoba road was also done in his second tenure.

And these roads are still in fantastic conditions up till now.
