Just cane across your post. Did you still embark on trading? How did things go?

Hello Nairaland,

I really want to know if i can make a living from forex trading. I have been demo trading for two years now and i am thinking of going live on forex trading with an initial capital of $5,000 usd.

Please has anyone here in nairaland made profit from forex trading. Your contribution is higly welcome.

For me, trying to think of potential profit instead of risk was my initial problem. I have reversed that now.

Now all I look for is trade with less than 10pips stoploss and probability of moving to BE is high. The profit part is left for the market to take care of. Still have a short on eur from may, RR is now more than 1:100.

Also, discipline was a serious aspect I had to deal with. Couldn't conquer it till I started seeing trading as a full-time business and not a hobby to just try out and pick up extra income.

Lovely experience. You get to learn so much about yourself.

Aren't you tired of involving in shady scams?
Since I noticed you in 2014. You were advertising and maybe selling an fx trading robot which you obviously know doesn't work. If not, you'd have used it make money for yourself. And here you are, after how many years, still indulging in stupid things.

Bros, instructions for funding account are found on the website of the company in which platform you want to trade on. Check on the website and you will see "Live account" or "Open live account" column. Click on it  and you will see the requirements which you must fulfill before you can fund your account. Meanwhile, I hope you have a domiciliary account?

As your brother in this pip hunting biz, I want to advise that you should not go into trading live until you have gotten enough knowledge about the workings of forex biz. Have you gotten and practiced with a profit yielding system? Have you determined your psychology level,   not to be greedy and to accept losses with calmness?  Please, do not trade with money you can not afford to lose!

Guys I received same but I reside in Abuja and now my state of origin abia is my exam center. Unfortunately I was born and brought up in Abuja. I don't know anywhere in abia and my parents are late.
Does that mean that even if they want to give me the employment, that it must be in abia? Someone please help me out.
