Do i need to liquidate the fixed deposit I have in my account b4 printing the account statement or I shld just attach the Fixed Deposit Cert as proof of funds. I am applying with hubby but we have all the funds in one account. hope it is fine.

Also other evidence of proof will also be useful since you have passed this stage.

@chanbaby, I had my baby in Medical Centre of Plano cos I stayed with a relation in Dallas.
Doc fees 1800
Hospital fees alittle above 6000 I stayed in d hospital for 3 days cos mine was CS
I paid more cos mine was emergency CS. They just keep sending bills to me. I will go thru d books n get back to u for other fees

I have been following this trend and it has help me alot so i feel that i should share my visa experience with the house.

I applied first on 2nd Dec and I was denied cos I told the VO that I was pregnant and she asked if I intend to have my baby in the US, I told her that I don't know yet. she then advice me to go and think about it, if I decide I should return with maternity travel plan eg, Doc correspondences, proof of where to stay and statement and she also gave me one medical sheet like dat.

Today at 7:30am I was booked for an interview in Abuja and it goes like this:

VO: Good morning
We: Good morning
VO: Where in the US are you both going to?
We: Houston, Texas
VO: Purpose?
Husband: for Vacationing and for my wife to have our baby
VO: How long do you both intend to stay:
Husband: Wife will stay for 7 weeks while I will take her there, make sure she settles and return when she is due to have our baby. I intend staying for 2wks for each visit.
VO: What is the cost of delivery?
Husband: A little over 9,000 Dollar (I quickly gave her our budget sheet and Doc correspondence and added that, "This is our budget sheet and Doc correspondence" she said Okay, that's good.
VO: (Smiled and now facing me) So Ma'am, where will you be staying?
Me: Intown suite Katty extended stay, 3000 highway 6 south Houston, Texas (and smiled back)
VO: Where do you work?
Husband: We are both Bankers at bla bla bla
VO: (with a smile) Okay then, return on Thursday for your passport and have a safe delivery.
We: Thanks and have a nice day.
Our interview did not last for 5mins

I used Dr Funsho's email and attached the budget sheet in front, that was the only document I showed her. She did not even ask for any in the first place.

the apartment i used for my application is well detailed and near to oakbend but i cant use it cos its expensive.

Please I need assistance on how to get and book accommodation, I am using Dr F and Oakbend Medical Centre but yet to conclude on the accommodation to enable me conclude my application as I am completing my DS 160 with Husby. Kindly help if you have any information on how to book accommodation close to Oakbend Medical Center.
