Time plays no factor here. Just bcoz GoW is 8 months older doesn't mean it cant get beat by another that is 2 weeks old. Besides, 2 weeks is more than enough time for people to play the game and nominate it for awards.

The Game Awards 2018. And last i checked, RDR 2 is a 2018 game that had been released more than a month before nominations even began so i don't understand what u're crying about.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was released on the 26th day of October 2018...
