I believe instead that 80% of what we experience in life are as a result of choices (ours or someone else's) . 20% are just random, arbitrary events.

It's simple. Be responsible for your own happiness.

People who feel insecure about themselves (i.e their body or personality) can never feel secure in a relationship.

You must love yourself entirely. Treat yourself like you are some god or goddess.. That way, very little will get to you.

Someone mentioned trust. You don't have to force yourself to trust someone if your guts won't let you. You could be right to not trust them. Our instincts are there to guide us.. We mustn't neglect them. But sometimes it may just be that we are insecure.

The best cure is self-love.
