If you look at the case of Hotdealz & Elbreezy, seller is trying to win it on a technicality which buyer's initial laxity, maybe due to trust or past business history, might allow him to.

It is for this same very reason I told all of you that dispute resolution is very complex & might not be 100% all the time, but some lousy touts who are hell bent on causing division here refused to listen & have achieved thier aim. Congrats once again.

Dispute resolution or "case settling" is so complex that even in a Court of law filled with so many experts who have been doing it for decades, a criminal everybody KNOWS is a criminal can wriggle his out based on a technicality or lack of proof.

While hotdealz might try to use a technicality(or lack of proof) to wriggle his way out or drag it out in the hopes the other party or all those watching will tire out, he should also know that technical victory is useless if everyone believes you're a dishonest person.

I am not one to Judge quickly but man, I can't just shake off that strong feeling of dishonesty or should I say lack of empathy written all over this your issue with elbreezy.

I would rather do business with somebody I know if anything happens tommorow, even if it's partially my fault to a small extent, he'll be human & empathetic enough to atleast be open to helping in any way he can & not just shut me out completely based on a technicality he knows he can play to his advantage. No to even mention ontop an issue that you even played the biggest role.

Anyways, let's move on from the human side to the robotic part I guess.

Elbreezy, I can see that this whole technicality seller has been hammering on, now hinges on one thing--- @hotdealz pls correct me if I'm wrong: he never told you item was mint or clean.

You seem to purport he did. You have proof or something that can help put it in context, if yes pls provide so it can hasten this resolution. Thanks

Nothing really, since the back cover is being held in place by the screws that aren't missing.

It's like having screw holes at the back of your phone(or romote, or anything at all) & some screws are missing but the back cover is still being held in place by other non-missing screws & isn't falling off.

Doesn't affect functionality of the laptop at all.
