Jung:They don't owe you an explanation for deciding to step down cos this is what most people don't understand in the first place. Everything so far has been "voluntary" work. People came forward & decided to volunteer. The thread is freee now. Anyone can even create thier own blacklist & put it in red. Is that not the beauty of freedom? Lol This is because it not only looks puerile, it also undermines the democratic process this thread stands for.People cannot decide to withdraw thier participation in a democracy? As a matter of fact, isn't it because of that democratic process that "the public" will now become the moderator, judge, jury & executioner of the thread all in one? So because one decision was challenged by everyone, you decide to forfeit the responsibility of helping to settle dispute?There's a difference between challenging a decision, trying to understand a decision, & outright concluding & selling a skewed narrative. I also tried to understand the decision with questions too by the way. You can't eat your cake & have it. You want the same people you've accused of being evil tyrants & all sort of names to continue handling your responsibility? What do Nigerians even want sef? Na real wa.. That's being childish, as well as being a typical Nigerian. If we no like am, we go commot face.Well, yea, "No be by who tey pass" I guess. I can see from the first page of this thread that there's no more a blacklist. It has been deleted & everyone removed. This is one of the consequences of blatantly accusing & labelling people heartless tyrants, when all they're just trying to do is keep this place safe. Even the court of law, an institution that has been around for hundreds of years, filled with a lot of experts & professionals who breathe the law in & out everyday, is not perfect. Then how much more, a team made of ordinary sellers like you and I who are just trying to help & make sure that though resolutions might not be 100% perfect all the time, it should to a very large extent keep this place. And will continue to be optimized until we near that 100% perfection. It's funny how the same people who have contributed alot to keep this place safe became evil tyrants, wicked & all sorts of name overnight because of one case we all knew was a little bit complicated. Most of you here come from extended families or medium sized families. You've seen disputes. You've seen how it normally is. You've seen how different family members can have varying opinions on the same matter. These are people all tied by blood sef. Yet you login to NL, wear your hypocritical garment and act as if it is forbidden for strangers to have varying degrees of opinions on something as complicated as dispute resolution in the first place. Instead of tabling your facts with constructive arguments like it should be in a place like this, you resorted to tantrums, name-calling, & painting the image of an evil cabal until you created the story you wanted & sold it. Congratulations! If I was on that team, I would have washed my hands off it to protect my image too. And now that there's no more a blacklist, I'm guessing everyone has to an extent. Very good. Since dispute resolution is sooooo easy & MUST satisfy every single person 100% leaving no slight room for even say 1% or 2% discontent, the cabals, the Buharis & evil people have all now removed thier hands. All ye prisoners of war, rejoice!!! freedom has come at last. The thread is now freee. If you have any issue with anybody, type to your hearts desire then go to bed. If his name will be removed from the blacklist, let it be removed because it has been proven, according to the rules already set in place when his issues came up, that he no longer deserves to be on the list anymore having fulfilled all requirements. The basis of removal should not be from a new rule that started existing few hours ago or something. That's mostly how rules work, & that's how to protect & make them sacred for all leaving no technicality that anyone might try to capitalize on in the future.. 8 Likes |

KulKid:1. As a dealhunter, I'm sure you know that if you ever have a failed pickup then you must pay the failed pickup fee, simple. It is left for the picker to show empathy & tell you to either pay a certain amount or leave it. It is NOT your right. And it is not even debatable. If you claim otherwise, pls present your facts. I remember a deal Daaz picked for me in January or so. It was a failed pickup at first, but later succeeded. When I got my bill, it included the failed pickup fee. I did not even argue, I just paid. When the laptop got to Nigeria, I saw that he added a charger for me FREE which was equivalent to the failed pickup fee sef. I read your issue with Donaltus & I couldn't stop shaking my head throughout cos how can somebody be sooooo wrong yet insist that he's the victim? Like don't you even have people around you who advise you? Anyone who has read all the issues you've ever had on this thread leading to where we are right now can easily spot a clear pattern---- you barely show remorse(that itself is a big red flag) & will always refuse to acknowledge you were wrong. Like wtf!! And yes, people have issues too with pickers from time to time. Cos business is an extension of life. A life that involves humans. And anywhere humans interact & deal with eachother there's bound to be issues. But that's the difference between almost everyone else & YOU. They take responsibility for thier actions & quell it even before it turns into another thing & starts looking like wickedness & thievery. And like I told you right from the beginning, yes you're correct, people do have issues with pickers cos we're all humans & humans have issues with humans from time to time, even in the house of God, but the reason you have not seen them on the blacklist is because they took responsibility like ffucking adults & did not carry out antics that began to give the impression that they were out to cheat & take away another man's bread. This is a dispute resolution thread that should/& will be governed by fact & logic, not emotions or personal bias from any side, this is why even though I personally do not fancy you at all based on observations I've made earlier of your past antecedents, evidence, truth, fact & justice must still govern this place. You had an issue with Donaltus --- in plain terms, as in you refused to pay him his money -- which you only hastily did after this thread was re-opened & the case came up, probably in a bid to have your name taken off the blacklist. Deliberately refusing to give someone what belongs to them --- which includes withholding an item or payment --- is the reason the this thread & the blacklist exists in the first place. Your only saving grace now is if everyone agrees that the category of someone I bolded above in red, does not include pickers, else we should not even be having this conversation. From the screenshot cutelukz posted, kulkid was blacklisted on the 25th of March 2020. 25th of March 2020 - 25th September 2020 is 6 months. Rule states if a blacklisted party stays clean for 6 months they'll be taken off the list. It seems the Donaltus issue is the reason he's not off the list yet. When did that issue happen? so we can calculate & be sure the right verdict has been given in accordance with common sense, logic, & the binding power of the rule everyone, including the accused, swears by... This is a dispute resolution thread. I want to see logic & fact govern this place, irrespective of personal emotions, cos it is very important that nobody leaves this place feeling a victim.
