What happened to Equity?
I read something you typed about being a feminist.. That speaks equality.. Why give a contestant an upper hand? did you see wen mod moved this interview to dating and meet up zone .. Technically the mods on celebrities section will be in charge.. Or do you like what you are seeing. This was how sunday interview began boring |

KnightRod: what deficiencies?
Is it because 1 person suggested? A staunch supporter of a contestant? Ireneony precisely(falconey supporter) whose interview comes up tomorrow.
Why not in the general section? Do you know if their fan base over at the celebrities section is more?
Did you discuss this with your panel/fellow organisers or you just decided on your own to move it there?
Did you think this through or are you doing whatever a woman says? celebrity will be okay cos fynestboi is a mod there. And this will help create decorum. |

vizkiz: 1. I consider them brave. I am a man of bravery...If you see what you like then go for it there is no point wasting time beating around the bush.
2. I simply take it as a challenge to make myself a better person in all aspects of my life in order to avoid such happening again
3. And on this issue I maintain that we must join together to find remedies and solutions for the problems that ignite these agitations before they overcome us. It can lead to war and secession. War is destructive and there will be war if there is secession. There can be hope only for a society which acts as one big family, and not as many separate ones.
4. The government show lay more emphasis on education nd the budget for education should be increased to enable them put in place facilities that would enhance learning in Nigeria.

Cutezt: In 5 years time, wheeewww, first of all, I am a very reserved person, I am a positive minded individual with great vision, I am result oriented and a team player, with the few aforementioned qualities, I can say that with God's backing, in the next 5 years, I see myself at the peak of my career as a mass Communicator, say it is too small, but I believe a man is limited to what he thinks of himself, with the right belief, then nothing will hinder me, I have this yearn for justice, one of the main factors that influenced my decision to be a mass Communicator, is to expose the wrong doings, and give the masses a voice, I intend to give out accurate, factual and unbiased information to the public, which I have started doing already, because I double as a cinematographer, I do go to news stands and to the public with my team, in order to cover the hearts of the public, to give them a platform to express their despair, my works have been shown severally on TV, I intend to use the position I find myself to touch lives, to win souls, but most importantly, to give the people a voice.
B) First of all, every contestant here is a winner, we were all born to be winners, I admire the courage of all 30 contestants, Nairaland is a forum which attracts millions of viewers monthly, making up one's mind to contest for this amongst the millions on this forum, deserves to be acknowledged, let me use this opportunity to tell my fellow contestants that I ADMIRE THEIR COURAGE, and I wish them Goodluck in this, however, aside the past experience I have in pageantry, I feel I have even more edge over other contestants because I posses certain rare leadership qualities, throughout my life, I have come across so many people, young and old And in my journey in life, one way or the other, I always have that influence, I have been in the midst of people far older than me and I was amazed at how they all came to me for one issue or the other, they all look up to me, guess it's inbuilt, The quality of a leader is reflected in the standards they set for themselves. my set standard pulls them to me, In life, I realized that As a leader, you have to not only do the right thing, but be perceived to be doing the right thing. A consequence of seeking a leadership position is being put under intense public scrutiny, being held to high standards, and enhancing a reputation that is constantly under threat. You don't necessarily need a title to be a leader, this title is just but an added motivation, Winning this contest is not about the cheers of individuals, Winning is not about the waving of hands, not the popularity you will gain here, and in no way, just for the wearing of crown. It is more than that, leadership is not about glorious crowning acts. It's about keeping your team focused on a goal and motivated to do their best to achieve it, especially when the stakes are high and the consequences really matter. It is about laying the groundwork for others' success, and then standing back and letting them shine. To be a leader is difficult as it appears, you must be the absolute best in whatever you do, The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly, Furthermore, conquering all others and grasping the crown is not simply being the most attractive of every one of them. It requires lots of work , to be grinned and to be spotlighted, as a leader, you are always in the spotlight, all eyes will be on you, and of course there are those who are watching your every move, looking for where you will go a little wrong, being a leader, you have to have a large heart, ready to take corrections, and be able to work with others, as a leader, you must poses a vision, because where there is no vision, the people perish, leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality , being a leader, you have to thread with caution because pride may accompany your role as a leader, so in every situation, you have to be low headed, winning this is not just about the looks, it's about your personality, the kind of person you carry in you, your attitude towards things, and your passion for humanity, I deserve to win this competition because I have this undying urge to serve, the first responsibility of a leader is to define reality and the last is to say thank you. In between, the leader is a servant, I want to serve this wonderful forum which I have learnt so much from, Moreover, the adventures and anamnesis I may experience here are past quantifiable on their value enlarging my social skyline and comprehension of individuals. I have all these qualities, and many more. The push behind my decision to contest is to grow mentally, and also, to boost my self-regard and self-confidence, In like manner, it is an incredible honor and respect to wind up as one of the contestants. first paragraph is cool.. The second paragraph thou.. Make i nor talk |

MrDojo: 1. In five years time by God's grace, i should be close to rounding up my PhD programme in a foreign university, one of my career goals is to become a professor, by God's grace that is where i'll be.
2. Mr Nairaland 2016 will go down as the best edition yet ( i'm fairly certain of this), there are a lot of handsome, intelligent and mature guys contesting, but what places "me" above my fellow contestants is my humility as nairalander and my open-minded nature which can be seen from my different topics and post, i believe i possess all the defining characteristics to be crowned Mr Nairaland, and i hope all Nairalanders will help me make it a reality. in essence i believe my humility and open-minded nature will put me on top at the end.
thank you

Shamstiel: we allow the league of "mad people" rule both the Mr and miss nairaland. Do you guys have any idea the level of pride oozing out from the people in that group? They feel with the Unending leagues they can do and undo anything on nairaland. Well if you vote for them you are only proving you are subject to slavery and ultimate inferiority complex. I in particular is not in support of being superior to others bt forming groups and caucus.
Just have this at the back of your mind people You are a subject to stupidity if you sit back and allow these same group rule both Mr and miss nairaland.

Harvard13: ill answer ur questions in 2 forms. 1. you know dat there is bacteria in the stomach for digestion, these bacteria can cause illness when there is no food to work on. they digest the stomach walls. now dont blame GOD for that. they have a good purpose.
2. when u pick up DIRT or eat SPOILT or INFECTED food, dont blame GOD. he didnt put no disease causing bacteria in u when u were born. u picked it up yourself.
bees help in polination and food production but dont go and blame GOD if you go nd look for trouble and a bee stings you. every thing has its purpose and habitat. putting them in the wrong habitat is the problem.
