I have been through tribulations myself and I found Christ and help at the right place. In my journey and struggles I have turned down offers that feels right but are compromise to my faith.
I ain't making gest of those that are distressed but I advise they go after Christ first not miracle. At the end solutions will come.

We must decern them.

God did not call your pastors and mogs. There is one and only one shepherd in the Kingdom of God. And it is God Himself, Jesus Christ - Ezekiel 34 vs 1 - 16 & John 10 vs 1 - 16. Every other who claims to be a shepherd in the Kingdom of God is a liar and a thief, you comes only to steal from those who believe, to kill the fat of them, and to destroy God's Flock..

Christ assigns pastors as his representative to feed the flock.

Some churches esteem their pastors too little and some churches esteem them too much. As always, the Apostle Paul threads this needle precisely:

“This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.” (1 Corinthians 4:1–2 ESV)

As servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

That’s a unique description – one which has very few points of contact with worldly models of leadership and authority. In fact, Jesus told his disciples to look away from those models and to focus exclusively on him. He said:

“You know that those who are considered rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. 43 But it shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:42–45 ESV)

If you are a pastor or an elder – lead like Jesus. Look away from the CEO, the sports star, the Instagram influencer and the politician – and look to Jesus. Be a servant. Be a waiter. Serve them good food from the Word of God. Carry them when they are weak. Teach them when they are ignorant. Correct them when they stray. Sacrifice for their health and well-being.

Do that, and your people will appreciate you and your Master will reward you.

That is more than you deserve and all that you should aspire to.

If you are a church that has a pastor, require him to be faithful.

Not perfect.

Not sinless.

Not god-like in power and authority.

Just faithful.

Faithful to his wife, faithful in his faith, faithful in his work, faithful in his worship, faithful in his service.

If he is not, remove him – not from the Book of Life, obviously, but from his office and vocation. Mourn his fall, support his recovery, deal with any fallout – but don’t for a second lose faith or hope in the goodness and power of the Lord. Nothing eternal or essential has changed. The food is still good, the kitchen is still open, the banquet is still lavish – and Jesus is still reigning over it all.

Just came back from the market... Went there with my landlord's son... This afternoon he saw me going out and asked where I was heading to... Told him... He asked if he could accompany me and I said yes! He was getting a few things too (a mop and buckets and so on...)

I've never spoken to him before... I thought he was an arrogant self-absorbed snub... Not my type... He's a few years older... I'm nineteen so he's between twenty one to twenty three... Very fair... Has curly hair which he dyed dirty blond but left the roots black... Pierced both ears... Dad is a police man... So it's insane he allows his son go out looking like a yahoo boy...

Anyways... He and I trekked a little... We barely spoke... I was extremely shy...

We stay in a very quiet predominantly hausa- fulani- yoruba muslim community... After some minutes we finally stopped a bike... He said we would ride together... I told him 'No'... I never tried that sh** with my exes and sure a as hell wouldn't start with him... But after waiting to no avail... I relented...

It was uncomfortable and extremely exciting! Being really close to cute guy! A lot of bad thoughts but I was also scared a neighbour would see he and I and report us to my mum...

We got to the market which is extremely disorganized! We split up... He went his own way to get what he wanted to buy... And I went to the stalls selling tomatoes and pepper and bought some onions from a mallam...

He and I met again... He asked if I was done so we would head back to our compound together... I told him I had to grind them cause the blender at home was faulty...

In the market... There's a section where yoruba women grind tomatoes or egusi etc... We got there... The lady I chose cause her engine was the cleanest started to tease us... My landlord's son is an aje-butter... He was choking turning red...

It felt good... Cause he was a bit humiliated which made me confident...

The woman asked if we were dating... I couldn't say no... Kept laughing throughout... He didn't say anything.... I think it's a good thing... He made it seem as though we were together...

We finished there... Started talking really well... He's funny... Smart too... Plus he's cute so I enjoyed us being seen together as much as being with him...

We went to a cold room to get some chicken... Nothing much happened there... He paid though... I refused cause I had the money... But I couldn't make a scene... We later spent the money on sweets and soft drinks... Which was fun...

His mum called... Asked him to go to his aunt's wine shop to get something... I didn't follow him cause it's already late... Went home alone...

The moment you moved into that compound the devil had it all setup to cause your fall. It's a trap never fall into it.

I had an exposito-dream last night but the dream looks so abnormal and expository

The dream has my high school setting and that's 5yrs back.

" It started like this " we are millions of people waiting for valedictorian to present what he has , all of a sudden . Evil forces started killing us with firebased guillotine . I was right there at the middle and they killed many from our front and our back .
They stopped and allow us to escape maybe to regain lost energy,but where we gonna escape to has few unknown creatures never seen on earth or in the movies , and few naked men ,women and hermophrodites, I escaped when I followed a sexy handsome tall naked man( with just a slingtop) but my prayerful cousin cheinazo based in Nigeria and 10,000 others refused to escape like me( who escaped with a naked man) it's obvious they are scared of those naked creatures ,two others joined me as they come along from behind with some unknown creatures, then heavy cries was heard as my cousin and 10000 others where maybe killed.as I walked far away with the handsome naked man I came along many fae ces or dungs on our path which we avoided,until we entered a peaceful garden looking like a flower forest where I wished I stayed with that man alone forever as my husband and I woke up.
But the peace and love I experience at that moment how I wish I can go back there forever.

We can't be talking about the new covenant and still stick to that old extortionate idea of tithing. Before they can render any help to you, they will check your tithe records, if it's not in order, they be like "How can we help a tithe defaulter using other people's tithe?

I know genuine Churches should have a welfare team/department that vets proposals for financial assistance.
They would majorly turn down perpetual beggars who wants to take advantage of the benevolence of the ministry.
It will be wrong not to help people because they are not tithe payers. That practice is unscriptural.
