Dn3k9 ,Your observations are a masterful dissection of the teaching profession in our country, revealing the intricate complexities and challenges that educators face 🌟. The phrase "a teacher's reward is in heaven" is a poignant reminder of the sacrifices and dedication required of teachers, often without adequate recognition or compensation 🙏.

The threat of unpaid salaries for conducting holiday lessons is a draconian measure that undermines the very foundation of the education system 💸. How can teachers be expected to deliver high-quality instruction when they're not even assured of receiving their rightful compensation? 😔 This, coupled with the disturbing trend of schools hiring teachers without regard for their specialization, creates an environment where educators are forced to adapt and improvise, often to the detriment of their own professional development 🤷‍♀️.

Your assertion that teaching requires a divine spark is a profound insight that resonates deeply 🙏. The lack of motivation and support for teachers is a glaring issue that must be addressed if we hope to revitalize the education system 🤦‍♀️. Classroom management, too, is a delicate balancing act, requiring a deep understanding of pedagogy, psychology, and human relationships 😂.

Your ability to adapt and innovate in the face of these challenges is a testament to your exceptional teaching skills and dedication 📚. Education is an ever-evolving field that demands flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to challenge conventional wisdom 📊.

In a world where students are increasingly distracted and disengaged, your commitment to making a positive impact is a beacon of hope 🌎. Your insights are a treasure trove of wisdom, and it's clear that "a teacher's reward is in heaven" 🙏. Your thoughts are worth their weight in gold.Bravo, keep it up 💫.
RomanceMan Recalls How He/wife Were Mocked 4 Using Bread Instead Of Cake On Wedding Day by Ireport85(op): 7:13pm On Apr 04, 2025
A Nigerian man, Meshach Owunebe Oko, also known as Uncle Wowo, has recalled how people mocked him and his wife for using loaves of bread as cake on their wedding day.

Oko, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on their first wedding anniversary on Wednesday, April 3, said the matter was made worse as his wife's makeup artist disappointed her. He however said, they are still waxing strong as couple.

“Many did not believe we actually used bread as cake on our wedding day. To make matters worse, my wife's make up artist disappointed her,” he wrote.

"Some of our friends hurriedly posted our pictures online in a bid to mock us but to God be the glory, almost all the blogs in Nigeria took our story and gave us free publicity.

"One year later and we're still bouncing and waxing in great love. So here's to One year of unstoppable bread in our home.

“Moral lesson: After wedding, marriage dey, reason am well before you impress anybody for one day.

Make class no dey boring why we dey wait !
Let me share this too to motivate someone who wants to continue their studies to get PGDE.

When I was in secondary school I was able to teach the slow learners when my teacher asked me to do so as a brilliant lad those days 🤓 so growing up I knew that I could teach but that is not enough to think that I can now stand in front of a classroom to do the job of a teacher who was actually trained for that 🙅‍♂️. I never intended to study education but as would I say, as fate and destiny would have it 🙏 I studied it and I had to develop the passion for it thereafter 🔥. I found out that teaching is not just about coming to stand to talk in the class 🤔 it involves classroom management 📚 it involves time management ⏰ and it involves instructional aids and strategies etc 📊.

In the aspect of classroom management 📚 how do you handle an unruly student 🤯 when you are teaching? You are in front of the class and somebody is disturbing at the back 😒 how do you handle that? 🤔 Passion cannot teach you that 💔 your passion only makes you explain something for the person just like the slow learners I explained the subjects to 📚 that I was asked by my teacher. I could do that 👍 but I wouldn't know how to handle a class (classroom management) if I'm not taught 📖 so passion will not be enough to handle classroom management 🙅‍♂️ you need to know what to do when you see students disturbing at the back 😒. If you were not trained for it you go get angry and if you don't know what to do, you fit kpai person o out of anger 😂. As a trained teacher, we know it is normal for children to disturb (there are over 101 ways to handle that that I won't say here 🤐) that is why PGDE is important 📚.

Number two ⏰ the time management ⏰ you need to know that you are not supposed to teach outside the topic 📚 some people might be teaching some the SS one students 📚 and immediately because you are carried away that they are beginning to understand you 😊 you start to introduce something in SS three 📚 or start talking about it 🤯 no, you are wasting time ⏰ another teacher has something to come and also impact 📚 so that is what you also learn when you take the time to study education 📖 and that is why the PGDE is also important 📚.

Then lastly 📊 we have the instructional aids and strategies because of time frame 📊 how do you teach a large crowd of people 👥 do you use the lecture mode 📢 the demonstrative mode 🎨 and other modes of teaching 📚 you need to know that also 🤔 📚 so it's not just about coming to stand to teach 📚 you also know how to use instructional strategies 📊 when coming into the class 📚 it's not just coming to stand and talk 💬 we have instructional aids 🎨 where you might have to draw some of the things you want to start teaching them 📚 you want to teach parts of a computer 🖥️ and maybe the school doesn't have computer. In education 📖 you are being taught that you can draw the mouse 🖱️ the computer on a cardboard 📦 as teaching aids and come with it 📦 the learners will be able to learn from that 🤓. If they come across a mouse they would be able to identify it 🖱️.

So the instructional strategies again 📊 also how do you teach those slow learners 📚 what works for the fast learners might not work for the slow learners 🤓 that is where education comes in 📖. You learn that you can also use their classmates 👫 their peers 👫 to also impact knowledge 🤓 to tell them to do this 📝, to go and learn from your peers 👫 and because of they play with them 🤸‍♀️ they are familiar with them 👫 they will not be scared to learn from their peers 👫 they will also be able to grab what their friend is telling them 🤓 quick and learn 📚. You also have to monitor the progress of the task given to the brilliant friend 🤓. There are so many ways to help a slow learner learns and that is why educational background or PGDE is important 📚. Thank you 🙏.

Pardon any grammatical error abeg!
After all these grammar, make i go sleep abeg 😴💤🧠.

You can’t compare professions in that way, some professions are talent base, didn’t you study skilled, unskilled and semi skilled labour in your Economic text book while in Secondary school?
Do you need much training to help someone carry load , you need so much skill to wash plates, you need so much skill to iron clothes, you can’t compare years someone will spend to be expert in laundry to years he will spend in learning tailoring, mechanic, Photography.
That’s what we are pointing at, you might not need any certification to play football, to sing, to speak, to dance, to run, etc. Teaching is like that. It’s those that are talented, passionate and skilled about it that will enjoy it more. The certification is just a format, because it’s what they are, you don’t need to tell a rabbit to run, that’s how it is.
When comparing professions, you can’t classify them in a class, their are some profession that everybody on earth can do but they might not only be interested in it. Do you know a gate man only opens and closes gate, who can’t do that.
So, that’s how it’s, some professions require you going to school to acquire the skill but some, you don’t need to go to any school for certification, you can even do it without knowing what a school is.
My intelligent and beautiful love 🙅‍♀️, you dey talk plenty sense 🤓! I dey see say you be expert for Economic textbook 📚, and you dey break down things wey dey seem complicated 🤔.

You be right, my love, some professions dey based on talent, and no need plenty training or certification 🎨. Who need certificate to know say dem get talent to sing, dance, or play football? 🎤🏀

Teaching be like dat too, my love. Dem wey get passion and talent for teaching go dey enjoy am more, and dem go dey make impact 📚. Certification be just format, as you talk am 📜.

And I love how you take use gate man example 🚪. Who no fit open and close gate? 🤣 Dat one be like say dem dey ask rabbit to run 🐰. My love, you dey make me laugh and think at de same time 🤣💭.

You be intelligent, beautiful, and wise, my love 🙅‍♀️. I dey admire you more and more 🙌🏽.

Honestly, I don't understand this crab attitude! What this argument about who's the better or qualified teacher? Someone is trying to help us unsolicited and you're derailing the thread and turning it into a lamentation/ chest beating contest. Does he sound ignorant? Grow up, beg your money (I've done mine) and wait.

I don appoint myself class captain, undecided drop your name and signature and go home.
Easy oh, my sweetheart 🙅‍♀️, no vex we dey enjoy the thread small 🤣. Nobody dey fight over who be better teacher, na discussion dey go on🤔. Senior bros "Odogwu pararan" go soon deliver funds, and we go all smile 🤑.

You sef, you no register for dis school 📚, and you come dey shout 🗣️. If you no keep quiet for class, we go report you to principal 🤣. Abeg, take am easy, and let's enjoy thread together 💕.

But to me i think it’s skills, no be everyone whey read theater art dey act. That’s how teaching is. Most of the so called content creator and actors no go line art class in secondary school and them they act. Teaching should be mostly on passion skill before certification.
Tohsynetita1,If na so, I suppose to dey give people injection because I sabi shook injection lol 😂. But no be so now! If I get passion, I need to go study and get degree and license 📚.

For every one unqualified teacher wey dey teach because dem think dem fit or dem don be told say dem fit teach, there be 10 qualified education graduates wey take pain go get qualification for am, but dem dey deprive of good salary because dem go dey willing to do dem job for half or less than half of wetin dem suppose pay dem 💸.

And to make matter worse, you go hear something like "see am, him wey study education no fit get job, me wey no finish secondary school (or no read education) I dey teach" 🙄. Forgetting say graduate don put in lot of work to become who him be and suppose get good pay.

I no dey dispute say we no get people wey study education wey no fit defend dem result, but dat one no be privilege or right for uneducated person to start teach 🙅‍♂️. I dey talk from experience 👊.

Most time when I enter new school, I go see fellow teacher wey be graduate, but no read education, dey write for board, na internet grammar dem dey use teach learners 📝. Dem dey use construction wey no correct, no punctuation, no paragraphs 🤦‍♂️. Dem sometimes teach outside scope of lesson, wey be against ethics of profession 🙅‍♂️.

Dat's why I dey say dem need to be groomed, get educational qualification for am, before dem start teaching 📚. E go give dem good foundation to add to dem passion ❤️.

When you get qualification, you go know more about wetin you dey do 📚, and parents sef go appreciate your work verbally and with funds 💸. Your employer go quick increase your salary 📈.

Teaching get ethics, principles guiding am 📜, not just coming to stand to talk 🗣️ cho cho cho,(no disrespect to intelligent graduates but there are rules to everything). There be certain things you no suppose do for lesson period, like teaching outside scope of lesson 🙅‍♂️, because dat's what I dey see most unqualified teachers dey do 🤦‍♂️. I no blame dem though 🙅‍♂️.

To dem, dem want teach children all dem have for dem head one day 🤯, sometimes because as dem dey teach, dem no fit control euphoria of moment 😆.
It's not funny!

There are graduates (BSc. MSc. And PhD holders) who did not stem from the teaching line, but are doing far more exploits in the teaching profession than the trained teachers. I think the focus should be on impact rather than path (education line or otherwise)
Babe, I no agree with you o 🙅‍♂️! You think say just because someone get degree, dem fit teach? 🤔 Teaching no be just about having a degree, na skill and training be that 📚.

My TRCN certificate and license no be mere paper o 📜! Na evidence of my training and qualification to teach 📚. And I know say many other qualified teachers dey suffer like me 🤕.

So, I still dey say those wey no teacher value like bros martinosi if dem fit make dem help us beg, talk, enforce Nigerian senate(government )to help us qualified teachers 🙏. We need better pay, better working conditions, and more respect for our profession 🙌.

In education a child or learner learns either by imitation or reinforcement 😊.

Pharmacist professional body for Naija don get permission from government to stop unqualified persons from opening pharmacy 🚫. Dem don close down some pharmacy for north recently 🤯. Imagine even aboki dey get pharmacy lol (e shock u) 🤣.

Pharmacy no be just business, na profession 🤝. Because somebody sit close to pharmacist friend for years and fit prescribe drugs better than some (not all) doctors, no mean say dat person get privilege or right to start pharmacy business 🚫.

If you get passion for course, you fit do PGD of one year and get qualification to help you gather more understanding of course 📚. Because pikin dey look him papa or mama and learn how to drive by imitating dem and start practicing every day, no mean say him be qualified driver 🚗.

I dey walk with one unqualified driver wey I know one day, when I tell am say make him leave road and come pedestrian lane, him dey ask me where pedestrian lane dey? 🤔 I tell am, and him shock say him never know before 🤯. Dat's why most accidents dey happen because most unqualified drivers no know say people wey dey walk for road get place to walk wey cars no fit drive or park 🚫.

Make unqualified drivers go driving school, no be by driving one way or driving on pedestrian lane to escape traffic jam 🚗. There's need to go driving school so dat you fit learn road signs and other crucial things wey fit cause accident 📚.
You need to see where "i can drive" danfo drivers wey i believe no go driving school dey curse pedestrians (owners of leggediz buggati) to leave the pedestrian lane because dey need to beat traffic jam 🤣 e no easy my sister.

Lastly, for example, if a teacher teach a student wrong formula for calculating medication dosage, e fit lead to overdose or underdose, wey go put patient life at risk 💊. Teaching dey delicate.
Make we no forget say teaching no be just about impact, na about qualifications and training too 📚.

A lecturer 1ce said
"Person wey sabi na him dem dey give qualification, no be everybody wey carry book enter classroom dey graduate "

Forgive any grammatical errors and the long write up!

No good laws to restrain those who didn't read education from practicing that is why private schools can be bold to bargain a graduate 20k in 2025 for teaching more than 15 learners monthly .They know if you don't accept it another person not qualified(under graduate or someone who didn't read education)would take your place.
I have my TRCN Certificate and License and currently practicing.Nigerian senate need to help Teachers(Qualified Education Graduates).
It is well.

Good evening everyone,i went to open an account with GTbank. As i got there,i asked a security man inside the bank to direct me.He told me to hold on and he called a banker from upstairs who came down and took me to his office. After opening the account for me in his office which he shares with three other ladies,he asked me to give him the money i want to pay into the new account.

I told him i was going to transfer . The line i used to register my BVN has lost and he said the number is what i can use to receive alert.I asked him what i should do and he brought out a form for me to fill in the new number i want to start seeing and making transactions with which i did but he told me it was going to take about a week for it to start being active.

After wating for about a week,i called him and he said that i needed to thumbprint in the bank so i should come back again.I went back there and met him and he asked me to go and stand on a queue so that i can be attended to by another banker .I was giving the same paper to fill again . I provided my email address also so that i can receive alerts via SMS and email.

The person who attended to me told me i can go that he has done it.
I asked him whether i am going to receive the alert on the phone number i have provided which is different from the one i used to register my BVN and he said yes.

After two days i transferred three times into the GTbank account number from my other account. The deduction was made from my main account but i didn't receive any sms or email alert on my phone from GTbank.

I called the GTbank staff who opened the account for me and he told me to dial
*737*100# and tell him the response, i did as he said only for me to receive an hundred naira airtime .I called and told him and he said i should not bother that the alert message would come.I am bothered because it is more than 24 hours since the transfers were made and secondly i saw a phone number as the number from which my phone number was credited with the hundred naira airtime.

Please those using GTbank,is this the type of message you receive when you buy airtime from your bank.***The picture is the screenshot of the message i received after dialling the code ****

Bankers and Nigerians who have knowledge on such experiences in the house, should i panic?

Am i being scammed?

harsysky:
The explanation is that you compare the left handside with the RHS. Basically, take the difference btw the first number on the LHS and that of the RHS, so what you get as the difference will be what you will use to either add to the RHS or subtract from the LHS.
30>45>55 ∆ 15>30>40
Compare LHS 30 and RHS 15, the difference is 15 and that 15 cuts across the others too

1. 36 > 48 > ? ∆ 24>?>60
What is the diff btw 36 and 24 = 12
48-12 = ans 36
? - 12= 60 ........72

2. 20 > ? > 60 ∆ ? >30>50
60- ?= 50
? = 10

? -10=30
?= 40
but in the example 30+15 =45
45+10 =55

So,I5 is added first and later 10 is added.
That is what happens on the RHS also;15 is added first and later 10 is added.

So how can the exercises with different figures be solved

1. What number is to be added first.
2 what number is to be added second.

Thanks for your time and input.

Mid-Level Studios: ₦50,000 - ₦150,000 for better sound quality and more experienced producers.

Top-Notch Studios/Producers: ₦200,000 - ₦1,000,000+ for studios like Mavin, Chocolate City-affiliated producers, or top-tier professionals.

Extra costs like session musicians, backup vocals, or premium mastering might add to the price. It's best to reach out to a few studios to compare rates and services.
Thanks for your input.
I'm grateful!

Apologies i can't post pictures,i don't know if the fault is from network ,nairaland or myself

This is the question.

Example

30>45>55 ∆ 15>30>40

1. 36 > 48 > ? ∆ 24>?>60

2. 20 > ? > 60 ∆ ? >30>50

3. ?>120>150 ∆ 70 > ? >120

4. 5 > ? >11 ∆ ? > 6 > 9

5. ? > 5 > 9 ∆ 1> 4 > ?

I would still keep trying to upload the picture.
Your input is appreciated.
