worry359: How can you get tax clearance if your company has not started trading?
Also how will you show a healthy bank account with money going in and out?
I'm using my personal account not my company account. I just registered the company in 2012 and got my TIN in 2013. I just wanna use it as a proof that I have a registered company...
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by ironbender101(m): 9:14am On Oct 02, 2014
Vicjustice: NO, your application would be refused if you are using a business that does not comply with tax regulations as a source of income for the simple reason that your business can not be evaluated and therefore, it is deemed illegal.
Also my company has not started trading yet. Can I still get the TCC for a new coy? I registered in 2012 this is really giving me concern.

Wow so what else can I do? This is just the reason I don't want to apply yet. Please any other alternativehuh
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by ironbender101(m): 3:36am On Oct 02, 2014
Vicjustice: Well, there is no need to go into details because, (even if the organisation is legitimate), the invitation offer is just a complementary treat, it is by no way sufficient to award you a visa, you have to meet the full requirements for Tourist visa.
These sort of offers are only good for people who do not need a visa to enter the UK, or those who already hold visas, or others who can easily satisfy the requirements for tourist visa
Bro 1st I want to thank you for the support so far. I want to apply for a Tourist visit visa and I'm sponsoring myself. I have all the documents as a business owner but what I don't have is Tax Clearance Certificate. I have Visited just one country(Hong Kong) 3 times this year for business. My bank account has about 2mill naira in ma personal account, I have about 3 landed properties and also tenancy agreement of my property that gives me money annually. I wanna tell them in my covering letter that I wanna go watch ma club's match for 14days in London. Should I go ahead and apply?

I have also documents of landed properties and company registration certificate with a fixed deposit. Please I want the house to guide me let me process it on my own. I just need steps......

jennykadry: Abeg don't let me start with China. Even as a person of color with a foreign passport, the way they look at you when you present your passport sef...you know that look of ''oh how I would like to humiliate you but your passport don save you''. I met a female officer. I greeted her with Nihao abi how do they even spell it sef, not even a single word from her. Meanwhile I heard her greeting her people before me. Then I brought out my passport from my handbag and presented it to her...oh you should have seen the look on her face. Them no born her well. cool
Hahahahahah your very right. Lolz that's what we face here on the daily. I have a friend who has been here for 8years and married to a Chinese with Kids and he has Hongkong passport. You need to see the way officers look @ him whenever he brings out the passport. Racism surely exists...

jennykadry: My Advise:

I used to be a die hard Naija passport fan until I decided to start travelling with foreign passports, then I saw how easy it is just travelling from one place to the other without hassle or someone looking at my passport 20 times to be sure I am the same person. I was in China in April with a friend of mine on a Nigerian passport, you should have seen how long it took the chinese immi officer to give her the all clear. My children only use their Nigerian passports when they are visiting Nigeria, the minute we fly out of Naija, the passport returns to it's orginal position...at the deep end corner of my bag cheesy.

With all the things I am reading about Nigeria, I have decided to give my children their entitlements...foreign passports of all the countries they are entitled to..both from my parents -their grand parents, my husband, my husband's parents, myself and so on and so forth -dual citizenship indeed...okay kidding cheesy so what is my point? our children deserve better. A better future for them is our responsibility. I have never seen my children sweat so much like they do in their motherland. They enter Australia or the other countries and they are given top priority. In Australia we dont not even stand in the queue anymore sef...we now have smartgate a machine like an ATM where you insert your passport, it gives you the all clear and you are good to go. If you decide you want to join the queue of Oz passport owners..na less than 5 minutes and you are done. They attend to their people very quick. If you enter Australia just compare the line of 0z passport owners against foreign passport owners and see what I am talking about.

Nigeria...you enter murtala mohammed airport na so the Nigerian passport holder queue is as long as what I cannot describe. Heat nko? children are crying cos they just cannot understand why they have to stand in one spot for so long. Hubby stripped to his singlet the last time grin. If not for our family ties ehn.....let me comment my reservoir there.

You can always control your business from Australia. Get what you want and then return back to Nigeria if you want but then you know you have an adopted country you can return to if Nigeria gets worse(God forbid)
Big sister I can't wait to change my passport. I went on a ferry from Hongkong to China just a cruise. While I was in the ship I was the only black man there so when I went to pick up ma dinner I was searched, humiliated and also asked if they can see ma passport after checking it for the 2nd time. If there's a way I can pay money to change this passport to a better one, I wouldn't mind. This is really affecting me and ma business. Did you know that China doesn't issue visas to Nigerians coming to China for the 1st time. We are really in a mess. My friend told me that Naija passport could change in 10years time, I think he's dreaming. No matter how big you are, the embarrassment is something else....

How lovely the country is and business opportunities. I'm currently in Hongkong on a biz trip. My sister, what we r facing with our Nigerian passport is something else.

jennykadry: Share accomodations when you come over. Stay together....you have no idea how much the both of you wll save doing that.
Wow thanks for the advice. My major reason for coming to Aussie is just for PR because im a comfortable business man, now I'm having a rethink....

I have some money but they ain't well arranged so I wanna package everything well this time.
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by ironbender101(m): 4:02pm On Sep 20, 2014
jennykadry: I am sure you can. They used to do it in the 18 month rule but now that the new rule states 12 months...the sponsors have to be relatives.
Thank you very much. I think I need to take a chill pill before reapplying.

jennykadry: ...No worries mate. And lawland is in Australia Perth having the time of his life so yep, I guess it was okay to use a fixed deposit account
Also ma'am can 2 individuals sponsor 1 person?
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by ironbender101(m): 4:54pm On Sep 19, 2014

Thank you very Much
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by ironbender101(m): 4:39pm On Sep 19, 2014
jennykadry: That's right Posdream. Many family members of friends here have all suffered the same fate-visa denial due to lack of proof of sufficient funds.

The more reason why I was advising people not to waste their time applying if they cannot show proof that they can sustain themselves financially for the duration of their stay in Australia.
Thanks Ma, Now I wanna apply again for ma. Bro after building ma account again. Also should or can I use an amount in fixed deposit?
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by ironbender101(m): 3:47am On Sep 19, 2014
jennykadry: If you were a permanent resident then you can work enough to save up your fees but as an international student you are allowed only 20hohrs a week when school is in session and unlimited when school is on holidays but Australia is not America where people 200 dollar a month for rent. We pay weekly and it is very expensive. Imagine paying 170dollars per week Accomodation and that is shared Accomodation off camp...now if you decide to live in a hostel some schools charge nothing less than 150 per week some even more. Then we have feeding and transportation to work. You go to school Monday-Friday. If you think you can make it good luck but I am telling you that without a sponsor it is almost impossible. A Zambian student in Murdoch university Perth was sent back home because she couldn't afford to pay up her fees and she used a sponsors bank statements but the sponsor wasn't willing to help financially but agreed that she could use his bank statements. Some people are denied visa sef if they think you do not have enough to cover for your duration in Australia.

Australia is expensive to live in and if you have no sponsor willing to help you meet up your target...you are lost.
This was exactly why my brother was denied a visa. The money in my account was just 3million after paying for tuition. Now before he reapplies again I must make sure I build a solid account. Does anyone know if fixed deposit can be used?
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by ironbender101(m): 11:16am On Sep 18, 2014
surveyor1: You can apply straightaway but make sure you adress the raised issues by your case officer
I want to reapply but I don't know I should use ma fixed deposit of about 20million and the balance in the account is just 1million naira. Should I proceed?
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by ironbender101(m): 5:37am On Sep 18, 2014
surveyor1: You dont have right of appeal for application outside Nigeria except you have a family who is australian. you need to reapply
Thanks bro, please how long should I wait before reapplying? Should I reapply for him next week?
TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by ironbender101(m): 11:40pm On Sep 17, 2014

TravelRe: General Australian Visa Enquiries by ironbender101(m): 1:19pm On Sep 17, 2014
deaero: how much was the total amount you had or did u just put the 3.5m and printed , because they usually calculate 18600 + remaining tuition and flight ticket, wch should round up at 5mil or 4.7mil.thats why i asked what the total amount was. The whole thing boils down that u needed to bring a substantial evidence as your brother fell under level 3. They usually take level 3 very serious. More over he should have waited and brought original cert of that IETLS.
I had over 1.8 million for up to a year before I added some money on top. I have other accounts with money but I didn't wanna use them cos of privacy. The original certificate is ready, should I reapply? I have money fixed in account in a bank, can I still bring that along?

Hello house,

My brother was denied an Australian student visa for a higher diploma and the reason was that he didn't provide his IELT'S(which he did but he only submitted the online result as the main certificate wasn't ready) and also that my financial capacity is not strong enough. I had 3.5million naira and they said that the money was around 1.8million 2months prior to the application. I still have other accounts with reasonable amount inside and I want to know if we can get a lawyer to appeal for us. Please I need advice from the house. I am so so disappointed and I feel I should have done more but on the other hand I don't see this reason as concrete enough for a denial of visa

Dear All, My IELT'S is out and I had 6.5 over all. Listening 6.5,reading 6,writing 6 and speaking 6.5. I want to know if this is a good band as I intend to apply for msc next year. My brother is facing a serious issue with his ielts because they haven't released his ielts certificate. He has just 3weeks to his resumption date and British council said their results were sent back for remarking after he has gotten an admission with the online result. Now, all we need is the certificate to apply and they keep telling him to come check after some days. Please I need advice on what to do.

I'm a fan of GEJ but this is totally a misplaced priority. We are battling Ebola,Insurgency, bad roads etc and here he's screening a movie when there are 1million things to sort. I'm totally disappointed.

prechear: I share ur concern. I tink OZ govt reserve d right to take whatever measures necessary to protect its citizens/residents. If this Ebola virus is not contained ASAP, we may begin to see western govt barring movements frm Africa. It has already started with d airlines.
I thought I was sailing alone. Please as we discuss on this thread let's also have Ebola in Mind also. I have a visa to travel back to HongKong but if we all travel what about our relatives here.....
