@OP... wonderful piece. You're perfectly on point with your observations and assertions. Even though corruption and nepotism is at its apogee in Nigeria, merit still exists in employment exercises especially in the private sector. While a 2.1 or 1.1 doesn't guarantee automatic job placement... it at least gets your CV screened. Employers place utmost importance on class of degree because they believe it shows your level of seriousness with academic work which could translate into seriousness @ the work place and also as an "elimination process" to reduce the number of applicants (thereby saving costs and energy). In all.... get a good result, acquire day-to-day skills needed to work efficiently, practice GMAT and other job tests formats, submit your CVS around without a care in the world and get ready to explore (gatecrashing and stuffs). Pray if you believe in it and saved the stipends you spend on bagging irrelevant certifications for fares to test venues and keeping soul and body together before you sign seven digits per annum offer letter |
Rexphobia: same bloke that quoted my post.Oops... It probably flew over ya head |
Rexphobia: coming from someone irresponsible, I'll take it in good fate.Who cares? |
Rexphobia: Depends on what she gets in return. So you spend in a relationship just to get "some bedroom benevolence"? WOW! Why not do em CSWs and do away with all the drama that comes with today's relationships |
@ topic... YEA. Its a bit off the norm. Its awkward but not wrong, after all, its not termed a relationship for nada. Whoever's got the oil should grease the wheels to keep things rolling smoothly |

What a generalization... The prefix "Some" would've cut it. Anyways, I'm waiting for the e-feminists to counter-attack |
I get fed up with things and people easily |
Nigga, you didn't even make the cut for friendzone... You were scratching the floors of pity zone. And to think you're asking if you should leave her. Methinks you're either a troll or an irredeemable Maga |
She's just there... fair skin helped her |
LaurelP: I think dat age is important in marriageThere's no guarantee for life... One can marry at 27 and die the next year; another can settle down at 40 and live for decades in marital bliss. LaurelP: 2. U will have d energy required to make babiesEnergy? Required to make babies? You make it seem like conjugal activity is mountain climbing. Once you're fertile and can sustain an e.rection, you've no problem with energy. |
@ topic There's no right time to.start thinking about marriage, especially for guys. You start doing that when you're ready financially, emotionally, physically, etc. Unless you're in a hurry to satisfy society |
