I just like the christian on Nairaland to help me throw more light to this,
I once had my tithe with me when someone walked up to me for an assistance to discharge her family from hospital. After confirming that it's true, I just dropped my entire tithe to pay the bill and believe I had paid my tithe but somehow I was told that since I didn't drop it in the church am yet to pay my tithe.

Tithe is not to be paid to just anyone, but your spiritual priest and father figure as shown by Abraham the fist tither in creation.

What makes you think God gives a hoot? And what is his reason for waiting this long? some are already in hell suffering-- and others die 5thousand years later? God knows it's unfair so he has decided he aint coming back.

It absoultely would not be fair to me if I had gone to hell and stayed 5 thousand years just for telling a simple lie, and to share the same punishment with a serial killer that arrived two hours ago. See I'm speaking God's mind here and now.

it's not God that let them start their tenure in hell ahead of time. So you can't say it's not fair.
And there's no such thing as a "simple lie".
jesus said the ONLY qualification for heaven is truth, righteousness and Holiness which are only possible by second birth in JESUS, so it does'nt matter if it's small or big once it breaks His requirements it's hell for you, go read your bible.

Believing in the Name of Jesus and His salvation work on the cross is NOT the ONLY thing you have to do to enter into into Heaven, Yes it is the foundation and the first thing that MUST be done before you even start talking about Heaven, but it's not the only thing one has to do to enter into heaven...

LOTS OF BELIEVERS WILL GO TO HELL, LOTS OF PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE IN TH NAME AND WORK OF JESUS, WILL STILL GO TO HELL.

Why, Because although they believed in His name they but did not live according to his commandments so their names were removed from the book of life.

And people who live righteously and love each other and keep uprightness and Truth BUT don't believe in the Name of Jesus will ALL GO TO HELL.

SO the right way to go is to FIRST Beleive in The Name of Jesus and the salvation He won for us, THEN search to know what will keep you in Christ and ultimately allow you enter into Heaven, find that out in this small piece I copied for you...

(16) He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

Right there in Heaven, Jesus commissioned me into the world. He said, "Tell those ministers to repent and return to Me. If they refuse to repent, I will devour them at once. Holiness, Righteousness and Truth are the only things that will bring man to My righteous kingdom. Go and warn man. I am sending you to the ends of the earth to declare to man My standard for Heaven: Holiness, Righteousness and Truth. Tell man I still love him.”

Jesus said, "Go and tell man righteousness, truth and holiness of life are the things that will qualify the believer for entrance into Heaven. Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. As you go, lift up the standard of Holiness in your personal life for people to see. Make it clear for the people. Let the whole world know. Lift up the banner of Holiness and Righteousness. Tell man I still love him. Live your life as a Christian ought to live.” Jesus said, "Meddle not with them that are given to change. Be careful with the people you meet with. Be careful with the people that come around you.”

He said, "Tell the world, My standard is high. I have not changed. I am still God.” He quoted 2 Peter 2:1-3 saying, "In these last days, false teachers will arise and they are already operating in the world. These bring damnable heresies into the church, denying godliness and holiness. Many shall follow their ways. The way of truth, righteousness and holiness shall be to them evil spoken of. But, go and say it out. I will stand by you. Tell man I still love him. Tell him My standard is high.”

Fellow christians and Atheists, there is no need to argue about the truth in scienc and the creation story in th bible and all that.

That is a topic that will ALWAYS astound man to the end of the world, why?

Because God said so...

Romans 4:17-18:
“(As it is written, I have made you a father of many nations) in the presence of him whom he believed — God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did...

It's simple, when God created the heavens and the earth, all of that did not just pop into existence as alot of christians would want to believe.

Instead the things he created seemed to have existed aleady.

Who knows just how far back the earth was created when there was nothing at all on it except chaos and void...

“… The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:2)

But in a few days time, man was already walking the earth,

But following th scientific facts there were lots of ERAs before man came along.

So the reason for the Paradox is simple... God made it that way.

It's pretty much the same in the case of supernatural healings, where the dead part or affected part is suddenly made whole as if was always like that... (I believe no one can argue with that).

The earth was created with a history of billions of years.

Another exemplary case is the case of Authors; They create books in a day, that has a story that starts from 2000 years in the past or 2000 years into the future (I believe I'm not the onlu one who's read this kind of novels, especially mangas and wuxia novels).

And the bible says: "Looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith,..."
Hebrews 12:2

So God "Wrote" the story of creation that starts from billions and probably trillions of years back.

So as you can see we should srike a balance in our view of creation the scientist are half right and most christians are also half right...

After all the world is a physical world, so it's not possible that it has a spiritual beginning, and also Author of the world is a spirit so the backbone of the world and all of creation is in the spiritual with God.

5 Truths About Biblical Prosperity

In life, some topics are simply easier to discuss than others. Such is the case with biblical prosperity. As Christians, we have no problem sharing about our latest win at work or the great deal we found online, but we shy away from admitting that we are trusting God to expand our financial borders or help us overcome debilitating debt. Why is that?

While finances are obviously not the main point of God’s Word, they are mentioned numerous times within it. Just look at these verses:

On Giving:
“You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’ And God will generously provide all you need.” (2 Corinthians 9:7-8a)

On Saving:
“Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise! Though they have no prince or governor or ruler to make them work, they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter.” (Proverbs 6:6-

On Debt:
“Just as the rich rule the poor, so the borrower is servant to the lender.” (Proverbs 22:7)

On Investing:
“But divide your investments among many places, for you do not know what risks might lie ahead.” (Ecclesiastes 11:2)


These verses (and there are many, many more) support the truth that God neither wants His children to be afraid of money, nor does He want them to obsess over it. Money is a tool, neither good nor bad in and of itself. Much like a contractor would need a hammer, drill or crane to build a physical house; we all require money to build our financial houses. And like any other resource at our disposal, it belongs to Him. We don’t truly own it. Instead, we are called to be “stewards” of it (Luke 16).

God often uses finances to teach and mature His children, and those lessons are as unique as the person learning them. He might want to teach one person about tithing consistently. Another might be learning to give an offering above the tithe. Another might be learning how to stand in faith for the prosperity of their business or their family’s finances. And yet another might be learning to seek direction on which ministries to support. In each of these instances, the believer must hear and obey the leading of the Holy Spirit while refusing to be swayed by peers or popular thought.

As you grow in your understanding of biblical finances, here are five truths and scriptures on which to meditate:

Financial Prosperity is God’s will for you.
“You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9). What that prosperity looks like will differ from family to family, but be assured that God’s will is prosperity. You are not outside the will of God when you ask for financial provision and blessings.


1 - You are blessed to be a blessing.
“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, ‘They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever’” (2 Corinthians 9:8-9). Resources are never meant to be hoarded in the kingdom of God. Instead, God desires that they be freely shared to accomplish His will. Ask yourself: Do I allow myself to be a conduit of God’s blessing, or do I see myself as a stopping point? If your answer is the latter, ask the Holy Spirit to give you a vision for blessing others.

2 - Rely on heaven’s economy, not the earth’s.
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19, KJV). No matter the need, God loves it when His children pray with joyful expectation in their hearts (aka faith), eagerly looking for how He will provide for them.

3 - Commit to handle your finances God’s way.
According to God’s Word, the most rewarding pursuit is that of His kingdom. Does that fly in the face of modern mindsets? Yes. But as with every facet of Christian living, we are called to line up with God’s Word, not popular thought, cultural standards or our own whims. Finances are no different. “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:31,33, KJV).

4 - Plant the seed of the Word.
“And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred” (Mark 4:20, KJV). Your words matter. If you constantly speak negativity and lack over your finances, don’t be surprised if negativity and lack are what greet you as you sit down to pay your bills. Instead, speak words that line up with the Word and proclaim the faithfulness and blessing of the Lord.

5 - God is able to make all blessings abound to His children (2 Corinthians 9:.
This includes financial blessing! Obviously, financial abundance—or lack—is not our ultimate purpose in life any more than is fame, happiness, popularity, pleasure or any other temporary thing. No, we are first called to know and follow Christ, and to tell others about Him. God in His infinite wisdom moves His resources about His kingdom to accomplish His ultimate will—making disciples. As His children, we have the honor of joining with Him and being the best stewards of what He has given us, and in the process, we become channels of blessing to others, which surely blesses us. Amen!
