Is like you are hungry to put yourself into trouble. Personally, if you make that kind of confession to me, I will not not think twice nor even look at your face to know if you are truly sorry or not, you will leave my house before the next minute.
You have to forgive yourself and move forward cos you don't know the extent he has also gone after marrying you. But sin no more.

He has met my parents but i did not tell them i was going to stay in his house i think that was my biggest mistake. But like i said earlier i now know better

The company i work with paid me well and i felt that in a relationship when one person is down the other should lend a hand within his or her ability. My parents are in the same town where i school. They are both retired from the civil service

Tnx for your responses. Efe, we had been friends for two years before we started courtship and he had introduced me to all his relatives as the girl he wanted to marry. I used to work in the same town he lives before gaining admission to study for a masters programme in another state. My school was on strike and the GM of the company i used to worked for asked me to resume work pending when the strike will be called off. I took the offer because i did not want to stay idle besides i am sponsoring myself and was afraid the money i had saved for my education will be exhausted even before the strike will be over. The rent of the house i stayed before gaining admission expired and i had already moved out. I would have stayed with my friends but most of them are males i have very few female friends because of a horrible experience i had in the past even when i metioned staying with a collegue my so called fiance sounded like i had ulterior motive and insisted i stayed in his house. I guess i was wrong now i know better.

Nice thread i must say. I really need someone to talk to as i am so depressed right now. I met this guy sometime last year we started dating, he told me he wanted to marry me. Things were nt working well for him after a while and when my school was on strike i visited and was with him for the five months the strike lasted assisting him finacially althrough including the sachet water we drank. My school resumed and i left for school, finished my exams for the semester and went to visit him only to get the embarrassment of my life. My so called fiance ignored me like a plague and told me never to come to his house without first informing him he also said so many hurtful things to me.This is someone i love with the whole of my heart. Am so depressed that i can't even sleep at night. I am slowly developing a hbp. I used my brother's nairaland account for this post

My sister is currently doing her masters in one of the universties in the middle belt and she really luv this guy with the whole of her heart and he has almost all the qualities she is looking out for in a man, only thing is he has only sch cert and works as a driver in a company which is not a problem to my sis

My younger sister and her bf have been dating for over a year although they had sex for sometime recently her bf is having deep financial problems which made her to support him financially and fed him for more than three months when she visited him during her school's strike they live in different states. Early last week she visited him again but got a cold reception from her bf. The next morning she asked him why he was ignoring her and he said he wasn't that he was angry she did not inform him before coming and he is in a very deep financial difficulty with so much responsibilities which he is not able to meet, that even feeding himself is becoming a big problem and he won't allow her to continue spending money on him again as she is now in school. He said he has now decided to seek the face of God and do his will which include staying away from sex and forsaking his former ways. My sister came back home but she is very worried especially after seeing his prayer request card where he wrote that God should open his eyes to the right woman. Pls advice her.
