Ajibade is playing very well holding up the ball and tracking back the coach is the shite that know nothing about football i wonder why dedevbo was sacked Joebie: Just one good combination play all game from Nigeria but the final ball wasn’t powerful enough. We have been ok in passes compared to out previous games. We are not incisive in front of goals. In games like this you need one individual brilliance. Ajibade who is suppose to bring that is a flop in my opinion. China just scored the kind of goal I expected Ajibade to score. Rasheedat plays like she knows she is the shyt, but in reality, she hasn’t arrived yet. |

I already said he is good player for his club not for Nigeria like ighalo he never scored any vital goal for us we still remember Sunday MBA for a reason today andrew444: Yakubu aiyegbeni is 3rd highest goal scorer in the Epl from Africa, drogba is the highest while adebayor got 101 Epl goals but our yakubu got 98 Epl goals playing for mid table and relegated threatened teams
Mind you martins is class but when martins played for Newcastle he didn't score more than 15 goals a season for a below par Newcastle |

His EPL status must have kept him there Certitude: I kept wondering then what kept that guy in the starting line-up ahead of Martins. |

He will missed sitter after sitter and be smiling while a more profilic striker rot on the bench yakubu was a good player for his club not for nigeria TheGoodJoe: I still remember one AFCON with Berti Vogtz as our coach where Aiyegbeni kept on missing goals and Martins was pleading for a chance. I think one was against Benin Republic. I think at last Yakubu scored and erased the memory of his misses.
Good striker but definitely was not as lethal for us as the media tries to portray him. I believe Martins would have done better if he got the run Yakubu had. |

Did martins go to 2010 world cup?the team would have had a good world cup if not for yakubu and keita andrew444: What did martins and co played in the 2010 World Cup apart from kalu uche ?
But frustrated Nigerians must always look for a scape goat.
Ighalo played nonsense in the World Cup,what did nacho play ? But nobody will insult nacho because he is a fan favorite
As far as I am concerned Nigerians don't know their problem |

His only goal in the qualifier what should martins that got a brace do? Yakubu score his best goal in EPL always think he is a starboy when it come to Nigeria game andrew444: So yakubu did not score against Kenya ?
So only winning goal is considered as vital goal ? |

When did yakubu ever score a vital goal? I can only remember martins against Kenya andrew444: In the eyes of Nigerians who has done anything for our football ?
Nigerians are ungrateful people, when yakubu scored vital goals and help us qualify for the World Cup everybody dey happy but just because of one miss he is being hated
As far as I am concerned ighalo miss or yakubu miss is not the worst |

And anytime they lost it always end in violence....for me in think the NPFL is not moving forward shooting stars vs enugu rangers used to be a cracker with packed stadium and good football in the 70s not anymore BascoVanVeli: Yes but Kano is packed week in week out. I guarantee they have more average attendance than the majority of PSL clubs. |

I don't think any match NPFL can get stadium packed like that not even kano pillars BascoVanVeli: .
The best team in south Africa versus the biggest team and if that wasn't spicy enough add Karma Billiat the sundown legend joining the chiefs in the offseason. I won't lie I marked this game down myself but was a bit disappointed with the result. The south Africans can always pack the stadium for big matches but once it is sundowns vs free state stars nobody will be insight. Even the NPFL is almost at the PSL's level in attendance, that's how bad it gets sometimes. |

Almost all the heavy weights seem so packed with talents this period, it will be interesting to watch Senegal, ivory coast, Nigeria, Morocco, ghana et al in one afcon battling it out |

U said people prefer him to simmy prior to the world cup but simmy was the right option and also he is not better than Tammy in anyway ChrisKels: The post u quoted is raving the boy because of his last season exploits which made me ask for him to be given a chance prior the mundial . Same post clearly said his preseason goal is first of many to come this season. I wonder where u got that line that my fascination with him is borne outta a mere preseason goal. Simmy nwankwo was far ahead of sadiq last season stop hyping a player because of a meaningless pre season goal and i still don't think he will get a call up this year ..kayode ,nwankwo, onyekuru, success, iheanacho, ighalo are all ahead of him mtcheeew ChrisKels: Whenever u c me clamoring for a player, just know that I have genuine reasons. I always asked that this boy be given a chance prior to the world cup but ppl kept harping on his Olympics performance. Some even said he was a donkey that falls at every slightest touch. They said they would rather Simmy Nwankwo than the most feared attacker then in the Eredivisie.
I know this is early days, but this is first of many to come.
