I don t think its a bad thing. I've never lost sleep over any european football club but Nigerian teams, it's different.

I''ll be distracted, uneasy, totally useless and unproductive throughout their match day waiting for the kick-off time.

If the team loses. I lose appetite for food.

E dey be like virus for my body

It's just the south Africa coach being too arrogant , she approach every game with same tactics...
daveP:
I'll be wary of Denmark anyway. I watched their game vs World Champs and they gave Spain super big problems from start to finish. Brunn doesn't even act like she wants to score but keeps doing so. Swart or Dlamini. For where.

I'm pro Nigeria ........what i meant by kissing Axx is the former president is always better than the present e.g obasanjo was better that yaradua , yaradua was better than Jonathan and Jonathan is better than buhari ..

In your own mind without bias politics or tribalism how long do you think Nigeria can survive borrowing money to subsidized imported luxuries ?

In 2012 Nigerians were supposed to backed their government to remove subsidy but they supported their opposition to shut down the country what is the result today ? This present administration is another chance for Nigerians to support their government policies because no matter how you spin it there's no reforms that will turn around Nigeria economy without hurting Nigerians

Proudlyomonna:
Point out where the ass kissing is in what you responded to?

Well anyone who tries to compare what We have going on now with any other govt We have had is nothing but a cursed zombie happy slave.

Who will know him better than his vice ? When obasanjo alleged Atiku sold Nigeria properties nobody said it's half truth ...... Nigerians have the habit of kissing Axx of past presidents
Proudlyomonna:
Well believe him or not just open your mind to the obvious realities on ground.

He said if He wanted 3rd term He would have gotten it, does this sound truthful to You in a democratic era?

My take is both those accusing him and both himself are paddling half truth around.
Politics › Re: Obasanjo Finally Opens Up On Third Term Ambition, Names Actual Sponsors by isan(m): 12:56pm On Oct 25, 2024

I almost lost a brain cell when a presidential candidate went on live tv and said he would have devalue the Naira then borrow money to defend it .
UltraSolid:
Another intelligent man with a good grasp of the reality facing of Nigeria Tinubu met on ground. Your kind are a rare breed on this forum. Lol. Image a country subsidising her own currency to give it false value, only forex trader like illiterate Mompha etal are cashing out from, rather than doing the right thing of creating real and retained value in the Naira by simply working to raise Nigeria's true economic value and productivity which is exactly Tinubu's plan.

If not that most Nigerians are just simpletons who live to eat, drink, fck, breed and Party, how do they think economically great nations, like the UK and USA, retain the high value in their currencies year in and out for decades and counting?

All Nigerians know to do is moan at the exchange rate of pounds and dollars to Naira without understanding it should be this way, as a reflection of our very poor economy, till we work, as Tinubu is trying to do, to gain a diversified economy with a trade surplus through producing more goods and services to the world than we import.

Who are we fooling but ourselves subsidising the Naira when a reasonable adult will understand we must swallow the bitter pill of naira devaluation to then focus on economic greatness that will raise and retain the value of Naira meritocratically.

It is like being jobless to then be borrowing and owing heavily to buy a Ferrari just to look good whereas others who have Ferraris and Lambos have productive and profitable businesses that allows them to comfortably afford whatever luxury they want.

419 is not the exclusive reserve of Hushpuppi Etal. Our leaders, and all past Presidents, engage in it too but Tinubu is refusing to continue the trend. He is sticking to his guns resolutely because he fully understand that things cannot be donee differently, and without pain, if Nigeria is to be great.

The only people who enjoyed how Nigeria was are politicians and the elites connected to them. To be left to chop in peace, those people gave Nigerians the barest minimum leaving many Nigerians living no better than pet dogs in the UK and USA even though they don't realize it. This is the awful reality BAT is try to change. They subsized electricity but you never see it. Pay more under Tinubu and considerably increased power supply which increases personal and business productivity, virtually all truthful Nigerians can testify to, is our reality today. It is a no-brainer, for critical thinkers, that Tinubu may be the best President Nigeria has ever had if given time and support to work.

Deltamani:
God forbid bad thing… You think winning Algeria is the price? What will happen when they face Japan, England, France, Spain, USA and Brazil??

To me Madugu & Ann Chiejene have overstayed their welcome in the SuperFalcons.. Is time we get a better Coaching crew.

Obasanjo is just bitter he couldn't get the better of tinubu even once , Tinubu has always proven to be his master
UltraSolid:
You have said it all. OBJ is best ignored. We Yoruba remember how he preferred to impose gangsters, as Governors over the SW so that he had total and brutal control over the politics of the region while totally unconcerned about good governance of the SW.

It was Tinubu that reversed the horror with his ACN that began putting educated and progressive technocrats and achievers in charge of SW States like Fashola, Ajimobi Etal.

OBJ can keep famzing his gullible audience, I.e haters of Tinubu, but Yorubas are not fooled as we know the damage he has done to Yorubas and Yoruba land to understand he is not a good person.

This is why most Yorubas do not like him while many remain neutral about him. Not many Yorubas, especially those above 40 and thus remember OBJ's stint as President, have a good opinion of OBJ. From Awolowo to Abiola and now Tinubu, OBJ hates them all because he wants no Yoruba leader greater than him whil he is alive. Yorubas, as a wise people, see through him very well.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Came To Office Without A Plan — Obasanjo (Video) by isan(m): 11:01am On Oct 25, 2024
There's no plan anywhere that will change Nigeria economy woes without hurting Nigerians.....a country that borrowed money to subsidized imported luxuries for her citizens for many decades add that with very low tax and corruption of past and present leaders including your darling obasanjo....
IfnobeGod20:
You mean those negative policies that have impoverished the citizens are the plans of Tinubu for vying for the highest office of the land. If they are, then, he has no single plan but only to come steal, kill and to destroy like the devil.

I am.sure it was same thing OBJ saw that made him say Tinubu has no plan for the country.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Came To Office Without A Plan — Obasanjo (Video) by isan(m): 10:56am On Oct 25, 2024
Okay tell how Nigeria could have spin the economy around without taking any of these steps Tinubu has taken ....
lexy2014:
how is tinubu doing the needful for Nigeria?

why has tinubu not succeeded so far that his success is now a futuristic phenomenon?

how is obasanjo "the most corrupt African leader"?

I hear tinubu is very rich and has a private jet. I hear his kids have homes in new york and london. his wife recently donated N1billion to OAU ile ife.

pls what is the source of tinubus wealth and riches?

Tinubu is doing the needful for Nigeria and he will succeed

How many years did they stall Ajibade, nnadozie , Oshoala, flourish, abiodun , opeyemi , onyenezide , folorunsho, ayinde, njoku, okeke, okobi, ordega, oparanozie and many more ...all all this players came back from junior world cup and immediately got drafted to super falcons , those that performed well became a regular and others find their way
daveP:
stall by not doing the needful for u20 on the progress and development front. Yeah, they are good at that. Don't tell me you dunno how they flog the "wait for your time" drum.

As for the names you mentioned earlier, emergency was top reason for their promotion. You know this.

She's only 14 she'll bulk up as she grows
WarHammer2000:
Chidi has potential but in my opinion still has a lot of development to do before being worthy of the Falcons. Especially in terms of physicality. Her smallish frame is a big disadvantage for a no. 9.

However, her ball control skills, passing technique and goalscoring instinct can lead to her being redeployed in another position as her career progresses. Either on the wings or as a no. 10. That would do her a lot of good.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 4:42pm On Oct 24, 2024
Chiamaka and Ajibade came through under danjuma tho..... danjuma really need to quit also
Deltamani:
Their Progress to the SuperFalcons will be better and more Smooth if the U20 team have a better Coach..

If it’s Danjuma forget it, he will definitely ruin things with is poor Coaching!
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 4:40pm On Oct 24, 2024
They didn't stall oparanozie , chiamaka, Ajibade, okobi, ohale, Oshoala, it's this set they will stall ... it's on this same thread people want to have waldrum head for not inviting flourish and Ajakaye and went for abiodun ....did you flourish or Ajakaye anywhere near the super falcons ?
daveP:
I won't be surprised if they stall this set. Cos these girls have what it takes to enter falcons XI than Sebastine and Ajakaye at this rate.

Animashaun looks like Rofiat a lil. I hope she improves her all round game.
