Any small thing you go put MacLean name inside, she's not good enough for super falcons
Deltamani:
How does the call-up to the Super Falcons of Nigeria work? Is it based on a quota system or do the coaches just pick randomly? Or is it the NFF that recommends players to the coaches? I don't understand how we would have such talented and in-form players in Europe and not give them a chance to prove themselves. With the absence of the dependable Rasheedat Ajibade, names like Esther Okoronkwo, Uchenna Kanu, Macleans Chinonyerem etc., I thought it was best to give a look out for the current most in-form forwards we have in Europe. How can you have talented, fast, and skillful youngsters like this that are hot in the various top leagues in Europe and not give them a look? Nigerian coaches are just so bad at taking advantage of in-form players, Madugu and his Coaching Crew need to do better...

For instance, Joy Ugochukwu Omewa, a 21-year-old CF playing for Fortuna Hjorring Women in Denmark🇩🇰, has played 14 games, scoring 11 goals and 4 assists. She's currently the top scorer in the Danish Elitedivisionen Women. Another example is Edna Imade, a 24-year-old forward playing for Granada CF Women in Spain🇪🇸, who has played 11 games, scoring 7 goals. She's currently the 3rd top scorer in the Spanish Liga F Women.

Name; Joy Ugochukwu Omewa
Position; CF
Club; Fortuna Hjorring Women, Denmark 🇩🇰
Age: 21yrs (01.12.2002)
Current Form; 14games, 11goals and 4 Assists

Note📝; She’s currently the TopScorer in the Danish Elitedivisionen Women.

Name; Edna Imade
Position; Forward
Club; Granada CF Women, Spain 🇪🇸
Age: 24yrs (05.10.2000)
Current Form; 11games, 7goals

Note📝; She’s currently the 3rd TopScorer in the Spainish Liga F Women.

Remo is like 1 year old club , Robo has been around for ages and challenging states owned teams , they have no sponsors or state governor to dash them money they only depends on street talents to pull through
Deltamani:
If you say so…. Fc Robo being Old School Club doesn’t mean they’re bigger sha, cause same Remo go still Collect Players from them but again Robo are doing well supplying these talents…
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 10:41pm On Nov 23, 2024
Sunshine stars nah mid table team
Deltamani:
Sunshine Queens of Akure was bigger than FC Robo na, is just that they were Producing talented Players all round, more like a Semi Pro Club then that produced players for the Pros.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 10:36pm On Nov 23, 2024
Robo queens are still bigger than Remo stars right now ...Remo can have the facilities and more qualified coach but robo is still bigger
Deltamani:
They’re right now, with the Pay, playing environment and facilities available…!

Most of their Players have been in the Age grade National Team set up. Their Coach Wemimo has the highest Coaching Badges in CAF… Pro License and she’s among CAF Coach Educator..

Robo doesn’t have the Capacity but do produce talents too, Rivers Angels was always stealing their Talents then.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 9:57pm On Nov 23, 2024
Back then rivers angel were poaching all the big talents in the league, they even sign Oshoala from robo queens
Deltamani:
The 6 big teams in the league remains

Edo Queens
Bayelsa Queens
Rivers Angels
Nasarawa Amazons
Delta Queens
Remo Star Ladies…

In other African Countries, Only 1 or 2 Clubs have the best Players that’s why they’re able to dominate unlike Nigeria here where they’re shared among all of them..

Look at Fc Robo too they still got some few names like Shukurat and co in their Roster, Naija Ratels they have Omilana and Agama as their top players.

Gone are those days when Rivers Angels was supplying SuperFalcons almost 11players at once especially under Edwin Okon, if it was then the Champions League started they would have won it more than 5times because Rivers Angels was SuperFalcons team B then…
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 9:50pm On Nov 23, 2024
They can't hold the players if they want to leave, you can't take an unhappy player to a tournament
Deltamani:
Edo Queens would have done better but they chose to sell their Star Players before the Champions League instead of waiting till after the Champions League…

Remo Stars have the money, If they can poach some of the top talents from the other teams they can do it…

But again same Remo Stars Ladies sold Akudo Ogbonna to a Swedish D2 Club recently, their brilliant U20 National Team Attacker just left to Join Pittsburgh University..!

They hardly sign players more than 2yrs, most are just for a year deal, with an Option of letting the Players go if better contract comes from Europe!.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 9:48pm On Nov 23, 2024
Remo stars are not top 6 yet it's Robo queens

I just hope Remo starts can really invest in their women team heavily... Government own teams are not making progress..... teams like River angel have been disappointing
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 8:21pm On Nov 23, 2024
Lot of talents in the Nigerian league but they're scattered in different team unlike other African league that one team is just too good for every other team ... Nigeria is likely going to send another team next year

Tanzania is not in our group

That would only happen if none of our foreign-based pros feature in that match
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 9:54pm On Nov 22, 2024
I won't be surprised if they lose to Tanzania
PDPGuy:
The SF are definitely garnering 9 points from that group.
But I don’t understand why CAF is still using the “WAFCON2024” hashtag when we know the tournament will actually hold in June next year

Edo Queens were losing 0:1 to Sundowns till the 90th minute and ended up winning the match 2:1.
Edo Queens scored in 90+5 and 90+11.
They are through to the semis of the African Women Champ :Dions League
