Politics / Re: Facebook Page Created For Mr. Ukeoma Ikechukwu: He Is Missing In Bauchi by isconyou: 11:53am On Apr 23, 2011
@ ndu chucks,I'm suprised at your reasoning and argument. Most times,I do not respond to issues raised here 'cos some people just make comments 'cos others are doing same. How can you argue that it's "only a fool would not have expected the violent reaction to rigging which we are now seeing"? Do you reason with your anus instead of your brain? Are the corpers killed, the riggers? Would you have been happy to be killed as a corper just because elections are rigged? People in the Arab world who are now calling for democracy through demonstrations, are they killing the innocent and harmless? Are they fighting themselves or the government which they want to remove? Are you blind to see that these innocent corpers and other victims were not killed in a cross fire but deliberately by these nothern mad cows? Your argument would have been logical if these victims were killed by government security agents who were preventing the people from showing their displasure over the rigging. How can you justify your claims and wish the soul of the dead to rest in peace?
Pls if you do not have any reasonable thing to say just keep quite. Don't get people more annoyed, pls.
Politics / Re: ‘tsiga Must Resign’ - Director-general Of The National Youth Service Corps by isconyou: 9:57am On Apr 13, 2011
It's really unfortunate that Tsiga and all those who endorsed the use of corpers for the elections do not care about the welfare and security of these corpers. Imagine that with all the security threats sorounding these elctions, the corpers are sent to polling units especially in the North without security cover. An instance is in Jubi K/Sarki Unit 3 polling booth,Kubi West in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi State, where the corpers were left at the mercy of the youths in the area who used Koboko and cudgels to force the corpers to hand over voting materials to them so they can do as they please. I really fear for the lives of these corpers in the remote villages in the North. shocked angry cry

'naijaking' thanks for making out time to educate some nairalanders. The different tribes in Nigeria have english language word pronunciation problems. All the Nothern presidents who have ruled previously had problems expressing themselves clearly in english not really because they were not well educated but because of the influence of their vernacular on english word pronunciation. To me attacking GEJ's wife on this and at the same time using it as a yardstick  to rate GEJ himself in his re-election bid is both frivolous and baseless. Let's base our comments on relevant facts and not on trivial issues.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: 10 Barcelona Players Facing Drug Test. by isconyou: 11:55am On Mar 20, 2011
Well, the story said this is "a routine check". None of the players checked has been indicted. So there is nothing to worry about. It's just that some people are scared of the way Barca play.My friend (an Arsenal fan) was even rejoicing that this would make UEFA order for a replay of their match (Arsenal vs Barca) or award the match to Arsenal. What a pity.
