Sweden is a good experience since it presents another perspective on life. It's very kind of socialist. Everyone must and should be taken care of. very high taxes. Hard to get rich and almost impossible to suffer. There is something called existence minimum. Every one should have about 3500 kronors after housing expense. That is why the amount that you have to have for living is so high. You are not suppose to live below the legal minimum.

Not so cold really, there is a warm current off-shore so it is not as cold as would be expected based on it's latitude. Quite large country, geographically speaking. From the North to the South is the same as from the South to the South of Italy. Almost twice the size of the UK.

Can be a bit boring, nothing much happens, but one get used to it.

Not very easy to get a job, but it is equally hard to be fired once you get in.

Go to http:// www.studyinsweden.com and follow the instructions. There are 550 Master's programme.

I just applied for a Master's at Stockholm University. Hurry, the deadline for non-EU students are the beginning of August. You might see October 15th but that is for locals and EU residents.

I checked out a website called http://www.schoolingforall.com and they had several Master's starting in the Spring.

If you need help, go to the university website, they seem to have the name of the person responsible for the course and an e-mail address that you can use.

Traditionally Sweden’s first degree was a Master's. As such, not much undergrad courses in English.

Way to get around it, and this is only for the truly motivated, is to learn the language and study in Swedish. Then the whole world of undergraduate courses is open to you.
