There are three laws of prosperity, and obeying only one of them will not lead to complete financial prosperity. Preachers of prosperity often emphasise giving alone. However, as important as giving is, it is not the only requirement for financial prosperity. It is one component of a broader principle.

This explains why some people give faithfully yet become frustrated when they do not see results commensurate with their giving. They may be practising one aspect of prosperity while neglecting other essential aspects.

One of the missing links in some prosperity teachings is incomplete knowledge. Half-knowledge can be as dangerous as ignorance. To understand prosperity fully, we must recognise and practise its three essential laws.

1. THE SPIRITUAL LAW OF PROSPERITY

This is the law of sacrifice. It involves sacrifice in faith, character, prayer, and giving.

The purpose of obeying this law is to align ourselves with God, develop godly character, demonstrate our faith through obedience, and seek the assistance and direction of the Holy Spirit. Giving is an important part of this law, but it is not the entirety of it.

As believers, we must understand that true prosperity is not merely about accumulating money; it also involves walking with God and fulfilling His purposes.

No one should assume that giving automatically guarantees wealth. Rather, giving should be an expression of faith, love, obedience, and trust in God.

2. THE NATURAL LAW OF PROSPERITY

This is the law of value, productivity, and diligence.

While faith and prayer are important in our walk with God, financial prosperity also requires practical action. We must develop useful skills, identify needs, provide solutions, and create value through the work of our hands.

To prosper financially, you must have goods or services that people are willing to pay for. However, it is not enough merely to sell goods or offer services; you must do so with excellence, integrity, creativity, and diligence.

You must become productive rather than remain passive. You should continually improve your skills, identify opportunities, and seek legitimate ways to increase your earning capacity.

Where practical and appropriate, developing multiple streams of income can also help improve financial stability and create opportunities for growth.

Faith must be accompanied by responsible action. Prayer should not become an excuse for idleness, and expectation should be supported by preparation and productive work.

3. THE MANAGEMENT LAW OF PROSPERITY

This is the law of stewardship, saving, and investment.

Making money and managing money are two different skills. A person may earn a substantial income and still remain financially unstable because of poor spending habits, a lack of savings, unnecessary debt, or unwise investments.

The management law of prosperity teaches us to retain, protect, and multiply the resources entrusted to us.

We must learn to budget, distinguish needs from wants, save consistently, avoid waste, and invest wisely. We must also understand the risks associated with investments and make informed decisions rather than pursue quick and unrealistic returns.

Without proper financial management, money can disappear as quickly as it comes. This is why some people continually earn money but struggle to build lasting financial security.

Prosperity is not only about how much money enters your hands; it is also about how wisely you manage what enters them.

CONCLUSION: THE THREE LAWS MUST WORK TOGETHER

The spiritual law teaches us sacrifice, faith, obedience, and dependence on God.

These three principles complement one another. Spiritual devotion does not excuse idleness, hard work does not eliminate the need for wisdom, and a high income does not guarantee financial stability without proper management.

Therefore, do not concentrate on giving while neglecting productivity and financial management. Likewise, do not focus on making money while neglecting godly character and responsible stewardship.

True financial progress requires faith, productive work, and wise management working together.

Learn the three laws. Practise them consistently. Build not only the capacity to make money but also the wisdom to manage it and the character to use it responsibly.

If you are a young person that really wants to grow in life, you need to be careful about the type of church you attend, and the kind of messages you listen to.

Your twenties and thirties are formative years. The church you plant yourself in during this season will shape your faith, your thinking, and your future.

Here are five types of churches every young person should run from.

1. The Church That Calls Every Problem a Spiritual Attack

In this church, nothing is ever just normal.
You failed an exam? It's the spirit of failure. You can't find a job? Demons in your village are fighting you. You are sick? It's a generational curse. Your relationship ended? Someone is doing juju against you.
Instead of analyzing what you are doing wrong and adjusting, you are fighting an enemy in the spirit realm while the real problem sits in your habits, your choices, your preparation.

You start believing God has abandoned you to attackers. Every problem becomes proof that you are under siege. You live in constant fear, seeing demons in every disappointment.

Yes, spiritual warfare is real, it is so real but so is personal responsibility. Wisdom knows when to pray and when to study. When to fast and when to see a doctor. A church that never teaches you the difference is setting you up for a life of passivity and paranoia.


2. The Church That Says You Can 'Only' Be Blessed 'Only' Through Sowing Seeds

Need a job? Sow a seed. Need a child? Sow a seed. Need academic excellence? Sow a seed. Need financial breakthrough? Sow a seed.

Every problem has one solution: give money.

This is not faith. This is a ponzi scheme with Bible verses attached.

GOD does not run a transaction business. Sowing should come from a heart that wants to expand God's kingdom not from a desperate person trying to bribe heaven into answering a prayer.

If you are a young person in this church, you will be convinced to pour your small salary into seeds for breakthrough instead of investing in your skills, your education, or your savings. You will give money you don't have, believing that your next gift is the one that finally unlocks your miracle.

God gives seed to the sower. He is the source not your return on investment. A relationship with GOD is not a business deal. Any church that treats it like one is using you and will keep you small.


3. Any Church That Makes You Feel Rich People Are Bad People

Some churches preach in a way that makes you believe every wealthy person is either an occultist, a criminal, or someone who sold their soul to the devil. Money becomes automatically associated with evil. If you have money, you must have done something wrong. If you are poor, you are automatically righteous.

This teaching sounds spiritual. It sounds like it is defending GOD and standing for holiness. But it is actually dangerous, especially for a young person who is trying to build a future.

Why This Is Dangerous
'You cannot become what you despise'.

If deep down you believe that rich people are wicked, you will unconsciously sabotage yourself every time you start making progress. You will feel guilty for wanting more. You will be afraid that success will turn you into the kind of person you have been taught to hate. So you stay small because you have been programmed to fear wealth.

You cannot pray for what you condemn.

You cannot kneel down and ask GOD for financial breakthrough while in your heart you believe that those who have money are criminals. That is a divided heart. GOD is not confused. You are asking for something you have already judged as evil. That prayer will not work because your own belief system is fighting against it.

Many wealthy people got there through:

· Discipline and delayed gratification
· Years of learning and skill development
· Smart investments and financial literacy
· Solving problems that people are willing to pay for
· Building businesses that employ others
· Consistent hard work over many years


4. Churches That Make You Always Pray for a Destiny Helper

Some churches teach that your success in life depends on one mysterious person a "destiny helper" who will suddenly appear and change your life. So every service, every prayer meeting, every vigil, you are crying out for a destiny helper to locate you.

"Father, connect me to my destiny helper."
"Lord, send me a helper from above."
"Any man or woman that will change my story, let them find me this month."

Why this is dangerous is that it replaces personal responsibility with passive waiting.

Instead of learning a skill, you are waiting for a helper. Instead of applying for jobs, you are waiting for a helper. Instead of saving and investing, you are waiting for a helper. Instead of building your network and adding value to people, you are waiting for a helper.

You become spiritually lazy but emotionally convinced that you are doing the right thing. You are not lazy you are praying. But prayer without works is dead (James 2:26).

While you are praying for miracle alert, miracle money, miracle job, miracle husband, miracle wife, miracle visa, there are people your age learning:

· How to budget and save
· How to invest
· How to build a business
· How to negotiate a salary
· How to develop marketable skills
· How to network effectively
· How to manage their time and resources


5. The Church That Demands Unquestioning Obedience to Leadership

In this church, the pastor is GOD'S only mouthpiece for your life.
You are told not to question. Not to think too hard. Not to leave because leaving is rebellion against GOD HIMSELF. They control who you date, what career you pursue, where you live, what you wear. Your personal convictions are dismissed if they don't align with the pastor's.

The pastor becomes a mediator between you and God. You can't hear God for yourself anymore you need to go through him.

As a young person, this stunts your growth. You never learn to hear GOD'S voice for yourself. You never develop discernment. You become dependent on a human being instead of the Holy Spirit.
Any church that punishes questions is afraid of what you will find. Any leader who can't be questioned shouldn't be followed.

In times of uncertainty and desperation, we are reminded of God's faithfulness as our provider and sustainer. The story of Abraham and Isaac illustrates this truth. As Abraham was commanded to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, he faced a test of faith (Genesis 22:2). He obeyed, and at the moment of sacrifice, the angel of the Lord intervened, providing a ram as a substitute (Genesis 22:13).

The ram was provided, but only when Abraham reached the peak of the mountain. This story highlights that God's provision often becomes visible at the climax of our need. Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, is committed to meeting His people's needs. As Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging bread."

Sometimes, we seek alternative solutions, leading to complications and delays. Isaiah 30:15 advises, "In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength." Faith and patience are required to wait on the Lord, because He is worthy of our trust.

God's timing differs from ours. He may seem late, but He's never late (Habakkuk 2:3). His provision may not be immediate, but it will come. In the meantime, trust in the Lord and His goodness. Psalm 34:10 says, "The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing."

God meets us at our points of need, but we must wait for His provision. Sometimes, provision comes after we've given up searching (Matthew 7:7-. May we trust in Him and see His provision at the peak of our need.

I recall a personal experience with divine healing that has left an indelible mark on my life. It was a day like any other, but little did I know that I was about to embark on a journey of faith and restoration.

I was struck with a strange sickness, characterized by cold, catarrh, and coughing. What was unusual was that whenever I coughed, blood came out instead of sputum, and whenever I blew my nose, blood flowed out instead of mucus. I was weak and scared.

In the face of this challenge, I had two options: seek medical attention or trust in Jehovah-Rapha, my Healer. I chose the latter, remembering the promise in Isaiah 53:5: “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his stripes we are healed.” I began to confess God’s Word, quoting scriptures and believing that His Word would bring healing to my body.

Despite the symptoms persisting, I attended a vigil that night, where a woman testified about her own experience of divine healing. Her testimony strengthened my faith, and I knew that I would be healed. And so it happened. In less than six hours, the blood in my sputum and mucus stopped, and I was completely healed. It was a miraculous intervention, and I praise Jehovah-Rapha for His goodness.

1. We must call the Landlord and Landlady Daddy&Mummy.

2. Wake up by 5.30AM for Compound Devotion.

3. Each room will take turn to sweep compound and wash toilet/bathroom. You must clean and sweep morning, afternoon and evening.

4. We must not fry palm oil inside kitchen because Daddy Landlord’s wife has asthma. Even if mummy Landlady is not in the compound, don’t fry palm oil !

5. We are not allowed to cook with gas, only kerosene or charcoal.
