Christianity EtcDeath Is Not The End Of Life by iSense247(op): 4:24am On Dec 07, 2025
---

Life has no end—death is simply the beginning of eternity. Some people, out of frustration, have taken their own lives in an attempt to end their pain. However, what they do not realize is that their pain does not end; rather, it multiplies on the other side.

Today, choose where you want to spend eternity: with Jesus in heaven or with Satan in hell.

Micah 6:8 says, "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you?..." What God requires of you is to surrender your life to Jesus and receive eternal life with Him.

Christianity EtcThere Is No Success Without Sacrifice by iSense247(op): 6:19am On Dec 06, 2025
The Place of Sacrifice

---

What you are enjoying today is either the result of a sacrifice you made in the past or a sacrifice someone else made on your behalf. Every lasting success is born out of sacrifice. Sacrifice means letting go of something valuable today in the hope of a better tomorrow—it is the price paid for growth and change.

If you desire a future that is better than the past you inherited, you must be willing to make sacrifices today. Jesus Christ is the perfect example—He left the comfort and glory of heaven, endured the cross, and gave His life so that we might have eternal life (Philippians 2:5–8; John 3:16). The salvation we freely receive came at a great cost. It is free to us, but it cost Him everything.

In life, nothing of true value comes without a price. The question is this: What are you willing to sacrifice today to secure a better future for yourself, your family, and the generations after you? May God give you the wisdom and strength to make sacrifices that lead to lasting rewards—in this life and in eternity. Amen.

Christianity EtcDivine Guidance In Choosing A Life Partner --- My Personal Testimony by iSense247(op): 7:53am On Nov 27, 2025
Reflecting on my courtship with my fiancée (now my wife), I am reminded of the importance of seeking God’s guidance when choosing a life partner. Our courtship lasted for more than eight years before I finally walked my beautiful bride down the aisle.

I began praying for God’s will in marriage in 2010, and three years later, God revealed my wife to me during a prayer meeting. This experience taught me the importance of seeking God early and trusting Him with my desires.

Our journey was filled with valuable lessons that I would like to share with those who are single and searching.

---

The Power of Praying for Your Significant Other

As soon as you begin to sense the urge to marry, it is time to start praying for your future spouse. This natural longing for companionship and connection is a sign that someone special is missing in your life. The Bible says in Genesis 2:18, “The Lord God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.’” This verse highlights the importance and necessity of companionship.

The urge to marry often surfaces as a desire for friendship or deeper connection with someone of the opposite sex. When you feel this longing, it is the right moment to start sharing your desires with God, who knows you more intimately than anyone. Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” By seeking God and aligning your desires with His will, you open your heart to His direction.

---

The Importance of Early Prayer

Some may think teenagers are too young to pray about marriage, but they are not too young to understand the value of seeking God’s will. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Parents should gently encourage their children to seek God’s guidance for every area of life, including their future partner, from around the age of thirteen.

This early prayer life is not misplaced priority; it is an investment in their future. Teaching children to seek God and trust Him with their desires helps them cultivate a strong spiritual foundation that will guide them throughout life.

Do not wait until it is late. Waiting until your late twenties or thirties to start praying for a spouse can lead to desperation, which opens the door for Satan to bring confusion and deception. Instead, begin now. Let God reveal your partner to you in His perfect timing. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us of His good intentions: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

---

Steps to Consider When Seeking Divine Guidance

1. Acknowledge God’s Plan for Marriage
Scripture affirms that marriage is part of God’s divine design. Isaiah 34:16 says, “None of these will be missing, none will be without her mate.” This verse implies that God has ordained a mate for each person.

2. Pray for Guidance
Psalm 32:8 declares, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” Seek God’s wisdom through prayer and His Word.

3. Trust God’s Timing
When praying for a life partner, trust God’s perfect timing. Isaiah 60:22 reminds us, “At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” Rushing ahead of God’s timing can lead to mistakes, but waiting on Him brings peace and assurance.

---

Ways God Reveals Your Life Partner

God may reveal your life partner through:

1. A strong inner conviction or prompting inspired by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14)
2. The audible voice of God, as in Scripture (1 Samuel 3:1–4)
3. Genuine love that is not based on lust or pity (1 Samuel 18:1)
4. Dreams, visions, or revelations that align with the Word of God (Acts 10:9–13)
5. A deep sense of peace in your heart concerning the person (Psalm 119:165)

In all things, involve God in your marital decisions. Proverbs 16:9 says, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” This reminds us that we cannot successfully direct our lives without God’s guidance, especially in an area as important as marriage.

May these insights guide you as you seek God’s will for your life partner. Trust in His sovereignty and timing. May His perfect will be done in your life, and may He grant you a partner who will be a crown upon your head and a blessing to your destiny.

Christianity EtcDivine Provision At The Peak Of Need by iSense247(op): 4:48am On Nov 27, 2025
In times of uncertainty and desperation, we are reminded of God's faithfulness as our provider and sustainer. The story of Abraham and Isaac illustrates this truth. As Abraham was commanded to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, he faced a test of faith (Genesis 22:2). He obeyed, and at the moment of sacrifice, the angel of the Lord intervened, providing a ram as a substitute (Genesis 22:13).

The ram was provided, but only when Abraham reached the peak of the mountain. This story highlights that God's provision often becomes visible at the climax of our need. Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, is committed to meeting His people's needs. As Psalm 37:25 says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging bread."

Sometimes, we seek alternative solutions, leading to complications and delays. Isaiah 30:15 advises, "In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength." Faith and patience are required to wait on the Lord, because He is worthy of our trust.

God's timing differs from ours. He may seem late, but He's never late (Habakkuk 2:3). His provision may not be immediate, but it will come. In the meantime, trust in the Lord and His goodness. Psalm 34:10 says, "The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing."

God meets us at our points of need, but we must wait for His provision. Sometimes, provision comes after we've given up searching (Matthew 7:7-cool. May we trust in Him and see His provision at the peak of our need.

Christianity EtcMy Testimony Of Divine Healing by iSense247(op):
I recall a personal experience with divine healing that has left an indelible mark on my life. It was a day like any other, but little did I know that I was about to embark on a journey of faith and restoration.

I was struck with a strange sickness, characterized by cold, catarrh, and coughing. What was unusual was that whenever I coughed, blood came out instead of sputum, and whenever I blew my nose, blood flowed out instead of mucus. I was weak and scared.

In the face of this challenge, I had two options: seek medical attention or trust in Jehovah-Rapha, my Healer. I chose the latter, remembering the promise in Isaiah 53:5: “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his stripes we are healed.” I began to confess God’s Word, quoting scriptures and believing that His Word would bring healing to my body.

Despite the symptoms persisting, I attended a vigil that night, where a woman testified about her own experience of divine healing. Her testimony strengthened my faith, and I knew that I would be healed. And so it happened. In less than six hours, the blood in my sputum and mucus stopped, and I was completely healed. It was a miraculous intervention, and I praise Jehovah-Rapha for His goodness.

---

How to Experience Divine Healing

1. Search for healing scriptures
Meditate on God’s Word, focusing on scriptures such as Isaiah 53:5, Exodus 15:26, and 1 Peter 2:24.

2. Confess and apply God’s Word
Personalize these scriptures, speak them over your life, and believe that God’s Word carries power to bring healing.

3. Believe and trust
Have faith in God’s goodness and His desire to heal you. Remember that faith is not the absence of symptoms, but the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1).

---

Declaration of Healing

The Bible says, “The prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up” (James 5:15).

This morning, I decree that you are healed from every sickness and infirmity. May you also experience the healing power of Jehovah-Rapha. May God’s healing power flow through you, restoring your body, mind, and spirit. Receive your healing, and walk in the freedom and wholeness that Christ has provided for you, in the name of Jesus.

The Rules and Regulations in this house is too much.

1. We must call the Landlord and Landlady Daddy&Mummy.

2. Wake up by 5.30AM for Compound Devotion.

3. Each room will take turn to sweep compound and wash toilet/bathroom. You must clean and sweep morning, afternoon and evening.

4. We must not fry palm oil inside kitchen because Daddy Landlord’s wife has asthma. Even if mummy Landlady is not in the compound, don’t fry palm oil !

5. We are not allowed to cook with gas, only kerosene or charcoal.

6. Daddy Landlord will use his special padlock to lock the gate by 9.00PM. God help you if you’re not inside the house by that time, you will knock and Landlord family will not open. No Tenant has spare key.

7. I am sharing the room with my wife and 7 children. I cannot be romantic to my wife in the room so my wife and I started bathing together early in the morning.
Daddy Landlord called compound meeting to harass my wife and I because of this.

8. No playing of worldly music in the compound. No loud sound at all. Your television set volume should be very low. My children cannot laugh or play in the compound.

My biggest regret is that I paid 1½ Year rent because I was desperate to rent a house for my family and no Landlord wanted to accommodate a family of 9. We still have 8 months until the rent expires.

I am currently working in another town but my wife is always complaining about Daddy&Mummy Landlord. My children are not happy in that house. If not for bandits, I would have moved them back to the village.
I announce your divorce with poverty today in Jesus name.
EducationThe Erosion Of Educational Integrity: A Lamentation Of Teachers In Nigeria by iSense247(op): 4:03pm On Oct 08, 2025
The Erosion of Educational Integrity: A Lamentation of Teachers in Nigerian Private Schools

The unbridled emulation of Western values in Nigerian society has precipitated a crisis in the educational sector, particularly in private schools. The pedagogical landscape is increasingly characterized by a lack of respect for authority, discipline, and the teaching profession.

Teachers are no longer revered as custodians of knowledge, but rather treated as mere commodities, expendable and lacking dignity. The current system prioritizes financial gain over moral integrity, with school owners more concerned with appeasing parents than ensuring academic excellence.

The consequences are stark: students are emboldened to disregard authority, indulge in indolence, and exhibit unbridled disrespect towards teachers. The teacher-student dynamic has devolved into a master-servant relationship, with students dictating terms and teachers forced to acquiesce.

The situation is further exacerbated by school management's propensity to side with students, often at the expense of teachers' well-being and professionalism. This lack of support has led to widespread disillusionment among educators, who feel undervalued and unappreciated.

It is imperative that stakeholders in the education sector recognize the intrinsic value of teachers and the critical role they play in shaping the next generation. Rather than treating teachers as disposable assets, we must prioritize their welfare, dignity, and professional growth.

A Call to Action:

Let us reexamine our values and priorities in the education sector. Let us recognize the worth and dignity of teachers, and work towards creating an environment that fosters academic excellence, discipline, and mutual respect. Only then can we hope to build a brighter future for our children and our nation.

EKITI 2025 TESCOM RECRUITMENT: A CARNIVAL OF MEDIOCRITY, A CATHEDRAL OF SHAME

Ekiti, the so-called land of honour, now finds itself stripped bare, dragged through the mud by those who ought to be its custodians of knowledge.

What the Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, under the weary umbrella of the Ministry of Education, has christened a recruitment exercise is neither a process, nor a policy, nor a promise kept, but rather a travelling circus of disgrace, where merit was butchered in the marketplace and mediocrity was enthroned like a monarch in borrowed robes.

Let us dispense with pretence, this was no recruitment, it was daylight robbery committed with pens, papers, and polished deceit.

Futures were not evaluated, they were auctioned, hope was not weighed, it was discarded, competence was not measured, it was mocked.

The children of the mighty, the connected, and the entitled waltzed through open doors, while the children of the poor, the deserving, and the diligent were shoved aside and told their sweat was worthless. TESCOM has not only failed, it has collapsed into a living disgrace, and the Ministry of Education, its overseer, has performed the role of accomplice with the enthusiasm of a thief lighting the path for fellow bandits.

And let it be said without varnish, never in its history has TESCOM been dragged so abysmally low as in the reign of Ebenezer Boluwade, its Permanent Secretary.

Here is a man who represents not reform, but ruin, not competence, but calamity. He is the perfect alibi incompetence has been searching for, the human embodiment of decline, a walking reminder that to take him seriously is to pledge your trust to a leaking basket.

TESCOM today is not a commission, it is a congregation of mediocrity, a cathedral where merit is sacrificed daily, while the Ministry of Education officiates as its high priest, clothed in the garments of shame.

Together they have converted the gateway of learning into a theatre of dishonour, where the actors are nepotism, cronyism, and corruption, and the spectators are the bruised and battered hopes of Ekiti’s youths.

To compromise education is not an error, it is a crime against the unborn. When you enthrone mediocrity in the classroom, you decree ignorance as curriculum, you coronate failure as heritage.

What TESCOM and its handlers have authored is not just mismanagement, it is an indictment, a conscious betrayal of an entire generation.

Governor Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji, whether by omission or commission, your administration is bleeding credibility with every whisper of injustice, every sigh of the deserving rejected, every laughter of the undeserving elevated.

Ekiti, once lauded for its intellectual heritage, is now ridiculed, mocked, and reduced to a cautionary tale.

TESCOM is no longer a body, it is a byword for disgrace. The Ministry of Education is no longer a ministry, it is a warehouse of mediocrity.

And Ebenezer Boluwade, under whose stewardship the ship has capsized, is the figurehead of this calamity, a living example of how far an institution can sink when entrusted to the wrong hands.

But the people are watching, the world is watching, and posterity is sharpening its pen. When the story of this season is written, it will not be the tale of a botched recruitment, it will be the chronicle of how Ekiti enthroned shame as policy, elevated mediocrity to office, and danced naked in the marketplace of dishonour.

Ekiti deserves better, and no sermon of excuses, no cosmetic propaganda, no pretence of silence will wash away the stench of this betrayal.

Respectfully,
Seyi Bamiteko

An Open Appeal to the Executive Governor of Ekiti State:
On the Shenanigans, Absurdities, and Travesties of the TESCOM Recruitment Exercise

Your Excellency,

There are moments in the life of a state when silence becomes complicity, when to remain mute in the face of absurdity is to become an accomplice to its perpetuation. It is with this solemn conviction that I write to you, not out of malice, but out of a deep-seated sense of justice, fairness, and responsibility to posterity.

The recently concluded Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) recruitment exercise in Ekiti State, which ought to have been a beacon of transparency, meritocracy, and hope for thousands of qualified applicants, has instead degenerated into a theatre of nepotism, cronyism, and brazen disregard for due process. What should have been an impartial assessment of competence was reduced to an exercise in patronage, where the children of the powerful, the connected, and the privileged were given undue advantage over deserving citizens.

Your Excellency, the people of Ekiti State had looked forward with great expectation to this recruitment exercise, believing it would serve as a platform to engage competent teachers who would shape the intellectual destiny of our children. Instead, what they have witnessed is a charade that mocks merit and ridicules justice. This is not merely a recruitment scandal; it is an assault on the very soul of our collective future.

Permit me to remind you, Sir, that education is the bedrock of any progressive society. When we compromise the process of recruiting teachers, the very custodians of knowledge, we are sowing seeds of mediocrity, injustice, and underdevelopment. A recruitment process that sidelines merit and elevates favouritism is not only a betrayal of the trust reposed in your government but also a grievous disservice to generations yet unborn.

Your Excellency, Ekiti people are known for their love of education, for their resilience, and for their insistence on fairness. We cannot afford to allow this recruitment travesty to stand unchallenged. The credibility of your administration, the trust of the people, and the future of our children demand nothing less than a thorough review of this process.

I therefore appeal to you, Sir, to set up an independent, transparent, and credible panel to investigate the anomalies that have marred this exercise. Let those who benefited unjustly be exposed, and let merit take its rightful place. Anything short of this would not only deepen the wounds of injustice but also etch your government’s name in the annals of infamy.

History will not be kind to leaders who look away when injustice thrives. Posterity will judge harshly those who sacrifice the future of their people on the altar of nepotism and favoritism. I urge you, in the name of equity, justice, and the Ekiti spirit of honour, to act decisively and courageously in this matter.

Your Excellency, the people are watching. The world is watching. Posterity is watching. Do not let this moment pass without rising to the demands of justice.

Respectfully,
Seyi Light B

Petition Against Fraudulent and Non-Transparent Recruitment by Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM)
To:
The Honourable Speaker,
Ekiti State House of Assembly,
Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Through:
The Clerk of the House.

Subject: Petition on Alleged Fraudulent and Non-Transparent Recruitment by Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM)

Sir,

We, the undersigned applicants in the 2025 TESCOM recruitment exercise, hereby petition your Honourable House over the gross irregularities, denial of due process, and alleged fraudulent practices that have characterized the said recruitment.

Background

1. The Ekiti State Government publicly advertised the employment of 1,800 teachers and non-teaching staff.

2. Applicants applied online, sat for a Computer-Based Test (CBT), and those who met the cut-off mark were invited via email and the official recruitment portal for a written examination.

3. Successful candidates were subsequently invited for interviews and micro-teaching sessions, also communicated through the portal and email.

Grievances

After all these stages, the official communication channels (emails and portal) were suddenly abandoned.

TESCOM resorted to selective text messages, which opened the process to manipulation and lack of transparency.

Numerous credible reports allege that employment slots were sold or distributed as political patronage.

Many qualified applicants who passed every stage have been unfairly sidelined.

Issues Raised

Why were the official communication channels abruptly abandoned?

Why were deserving candidates disregarded in favour of backdoor selections?

Why is there no published merit list, despite applicants completing all the advertised stages?

Our Demands

We respectfully call on the House of Assembly to:

1. Constitute an investigative panel into the recruitment exercise.

2. Compel TESCOM to publish the comprehensive list of all applicants, their scores at every stage, and the final list of employed candidates.

3. Nullify fraudulent appointments made outside the due process.

4. Ensure that merit-based recruitment is upheld in line with the principles of fairness, transparency, and justice as enshrined in the Nigerian Constitution and Public Service Rules.

We submit this petition not just for ourselves, but for the future of Ekiti education, the integrity of public service, and the faith of young people who trusted this process.

Yours faithfully,
Concerned Applicant.

My take on the ongoing TESCOM recruitment process.

There's no list to indicate successful candidates.

Most people who haven't gotten sms are at a stand still.
If they pass or fail, they don't know.

Some applicants came from very far places, and have high hopes but are at a dilemma right now.

All what the officials would say is "wait for the next batch" When will the next batch be? Nobody knows. Just like the second coming of Jesus.

Will everyone's name enter the next batch? Nobody knows!

And the most annoying part is that, they kept hiding the list.

Since some people who haven't gotten sms went there in doubt and are surprised to see their names on the list, that should have opened their minds that the sms process isn't working 100% hence publishing names is eminent.

They forget that some people have other things they do to sustain themselves.

Getting a message suddenly, reporting for documentation, and then collecting the letter and resuming at the place of posting almost immediately isn't going to be easy for most people.

If a list is published, and everyone knows his/her fate. Proper planning will prevent problems.

The sms process might be working for the TESCOM officials but they should please consider the mental health of many applicants.

They shouldn't wait until some applicants (their future teachers) start developing high blood pressure because of the suspense caused by the process.

Some people have locked up and moved on, then suddenly sms will just pop into their phone to notify them that they have been shortlisted for the second batch.

Some are very optimistic and would wait for eternity and the expected sms won't show up.

The suspense is just too much.

The applicants are not zombies, they are humans with blood running through their veins and they have emotions too.

The TESCOM officials might not have thought of these facts, so let this serve as an eye opener.

Drop the suspense and publish the lists.
