Crude as the method is, people are trying to survive. If you go round Nigeria looking for a Saint before you can help, I bet you, you won't find a single one. So just do what you must and let their conscientious judge them. That way, you would've taught them a lesson they won't quickly forget. None of us is truly
righteous.

none of us is righteous but we will still find someone who can be faithful.

by Sunday Akanni Moshood

The local church system means a whole lot to me because I've been one of the greatest beneficiaries of its essence, structures, and divine blessings since I was a boy many years ago. This is one of the reasons why I keep giving priority to the local church system and advising everyone to have a commitment to a local church family. As I progress gallantly in life by God, a time will come when I will be graced by Jesus to write a story of my life. But here, let me give you a short testimony.

I was born into a mixed-faith home, my mum a Christian, and my dad was a liberal Muslim who allowed his children to practice the Christian faith. Now, my mum's church was a distance from where we lived, hence my mum permitted her children to attend a nearby local church with some neighbors.

As a 6-7-year-old in the children's church, my children's teachers were quick to spot the grace of God upon me and never discriminated nor ignored me because my parents were not members. Rather, I became the children's class pastor (during children's anniversaries, the kids take charge of the service of the big church). So I started preaching in front of adults at a tender age, and it was helpful in preparing me for my future and refining my gifts.

Eventually, after approaching my teenage phase and it was time for transition from the children's church into the main adult church, my then church pastor quickly started entrusting into my hands responsibilities that helped became structures and systems that ensured I keep engaging God in a corrupt environment.

It is important to note that I grew up in a society where corruption is the order of the day, and living in sin is a trendy thing. One of the reasons I wasn't drawn into the corruption prevalent with my peers was because I was busied with church responsibilities. As a young teenager, I was a Sunday school teacher, an interpreter, an usher, a part-time chorister (because I can't be doing ushering and choir at the same time), I was part of the evangelism team, I was a youth leader (some of the people I lead were far older than me), I became the sort-of district youth pastor without being ordained (the other youth pastors in the zone were far older).

To cut the story short, my local church became a training and empowerment center God used to shape me for today and the future. After leaving the church to go to the university for my undergraduate studies, it was easy for me to serve with my student fellowship (where I was eventually appointed the President).

In conclusion, it doesn't matter the extent of the attack against the body of Christ, the church is a big blessing to me (and many like me all around the world).

Jesus said - "I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." (‭Matthew 16:18 NKJV‬)

jesusjnr2020:
Lavish Weddings: Why Christians Must Never Take Loans To Fund Them

Lavish weddings is a highly misplaced priority by many, including Christians, especially those who can't afford such luxuries.

That's how many of them would borrow so much and spend way beyond their means just to make their weddings a huge spectacle, but after all the fuss of the day, when everyone had gone their separate ways, the couples are left alone to bear the brunt of the expenses made just because of a wedding day for the rest of their marriage life.

Worst still, if the marriage is not able to survive the trying period inflicted upon it at its early stages, by the unwarranted burden carried over from the day of the wedding, but eventually breaks or falls apart as a result of the consequent pressure, by then the foolishness of making the proper marriage suffer just because of one's dream to have a lavish wedding would be beyond glaring, however by then it will be too late to do anything about it.

So it's better to avoid making such costly mistakes of marriage just because of the wedding day.

It's not wise for those about to tie the knot to get ahead of themselves and bite much more than they can chew, trying to impress people beyond their means on their wedding day because that could prove to be the biggest undoing of their marriage life.

God bless.

The protesters were not peaceful
They were burning tyres on major roads, and preventing school children and innocent people from returning to their homes after a long day at work. Some people had to take alternative route that took 4hours before getting home.

If Yale Staffs want to protest against their employers, they should restrict it within the premises of their employers. They can even shut down the company gates and throw the keys away. Not blocking major roads and preventing innocent children and people that have no business with them from getting home.

So if every employee that have problems with their employers shut down major roads everyday, how will they feel?
