EMMAACHILE: Liquid fertilizers are mostly absorbed through the leaves and is best absorbed when the leaves are wet. The best time to apply it is early in the morning when there is dew on the leaves. thats for sure but was talking about drip irrigation, because the fertilizer is added with the water that the plant takes.then the foliar can be added as well |

Cossycute: pls i have some questions 4 you 1.How do you measure the quantity of maxi force and super gro 2 apply respectively? 2.Can you mix them together? 3.At what stage of the plant life should i start the application of the fertilizer and how often(interval)? 4.Should i spray the liquid fertilizer on the stem or the leaves or on the soil? Thanks so much as i await ur speedy response.May God bless d works of ur hand. 1. For a plot 125 ml in 50litres of water for fertigation while 60 to 120ml for spray for super grow 1ml to 1l 2. Yeah because their toxicity class is ok 3. For this question pls research nd go for what suits you.not constant 4. They can be both applied either by foliar or fertigation, spray all over them or pure on thie root zone on the soil |

vanpeele: No but you can if you want to. The weather in your area should be considered before making a decision. thats ryt, you see i didnt puch mine and water drains fine.but i dont no whether it should be in the case of raining season. |
Agriculture › Re: Sack Farming From Start by ishaqteejay(op): 5:55pm On Mar 05, 2016 |
Cossycute: Gpls i mean like how many matured cucumber can a stand inside the sack produce during harvest? well actually it can be accurate because cucumbers keep putting on new ones as it is growing.so in some you can see 2,3 and keeps producing. its a continues growth, thats why it is hard to count. |

thuao: Can cucumber , tomato n pumpkin survive in southwest, Ibadan to be precise, m thinking trying this sack farming. thanks Tomato requires a relatively cool, dry climate for high yield and premium quality. However, it is adapted to a wide range of climatic conditions from temperate to hot and humid tropical. The optimum temperature for most varieties lies between 21 and 24 °C. The plants can survive a range of temperatures, but the plant tissues are damaged below 10 °C and above 38 °C.Tomato grows well on most mineral soils that have proper water holding capacity and aeration, and are free of salt. It prefers deep, welldrained, sandy loam soils. The upper layer needs to be permeable. Soil depth of 15 to 20 cm is needed to grow a healthy crop. In heavy clay soils, deep ploughing allows better root penetration. so check your climate condition and soil type. but sack will do the trick if the weather in your place is as they said. |
