Foreign Affairs › Terror-free Slovakia Completely Refuses Islam And Won’t Allow A Single Mosque by ishiamu(op): 9:25am On Nov 12, 2018 |
Slovakia is the last EU Member State without a single mosque, TRT World reports. Previous attempts to build have been halted by politicians. The country does not recognise Islam as a religion and only have a few thousand Muslim residents. Islam must not be taught in schools and the 5,000 Muslims, mostly European ones, who reside in the country are not officially recognised. They account for only 0.1% of the population. In 2007, politicians changed the country’s laws so that 20,000 signatures from members were required to be recognised by the state. In 2017 they more than doubled the number of necessary signatures. Not being officially recognised poses major difficulties for the group. Among other things, they are not allowed to have official religious leaders, conduct Muslim marriages or receive financial contributions from the State, rights which 18 other recognised religions have. According to some of the country’s politicians, Islam is a serious threat. “Islamisation begins with kebab and in Bratislava it has already begun. So understand what it could be like in 5-10 years,” says MP Andrej Danko. “Every normal European, Christian or atheist fears this satanic pedophile creation of the devil,” rumbles another critical MP. According to TRT, the situation was further complicated for the country’s Muslims in connection with the 2015 asylum wave. Slovakia then used the absence of mosques as an argument not to accept any migrants. The TV channel also claims that Slovakia violates EU rights laws by not permitting the building of mosques. https://voiceofeurope.com/2018/11/terror-free-slovakia-completely-refuses-islam-and-wont-allow-a-single-mosque/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter

Austacus: Work permit and study permit are two different things... So which one is your brother actually going for?
In my opinion, 28 years is a BIG barrier for undergraduate studies. (for the sake of Visa)
Express entry may go well for your 28 years old brother since his primary aim is to WORK Ok thanks |

makano: This is Makano and not Justwise. To answer ur question, I will need to ask you some questions? 1. Does he have a first degree here in Nigeria, if yes when did he graduate? 2. If yes, why another undergraduate degree and not a Master or PGD. 3. What has he been doing since he finished his 1st degree till this present time. I will need this answers to really answer ur question. But the truth be told, he has a very difficult task of getting a study permit going for another undergraduate degree, he will really need to convince the VOs his reason for going for an undergraduate decree. But like I said earlier, ur questions will let me guide you of the possibility of getting ur Visa. It is not impossible getting a student visa with an undergraduate admission, as we have seen peeps here getting their visa with an undergraduate admission. but its very very difficult tho. So I await ur response. Peace He wants to apply for undergraduate studies not post graduate..... He didn't attend university....jamb keeps failing him |

bellong: I will advice you to report this fellow to the efcc or any other security agency to put him where he belongs.
1. There is no more subclass 457 visa. It has been replaced with 482.
2. The initial entry date cannot be 01/09/2019 except you did your medicals or police certificate on 01/09/2018.
3. This is very obvious that it was edited from a copy of another visa. So many errors.
4. The officer approved the visa of 2018 in 2019.
5. This agent is not smart and very dull. He has done a very poor job of editing a document. Without looking in detail, it is obvious it is not a genuine document.
6. VEVO did not return any information about this. I actually checked VEVO to confirm if he tried to swap someone else's visa for you. No record on VEVO.
7. Did you at anytime do medicals or submit police certificate during the process?
8. The passport number, does it match with your passport?
9. How much did you pay or agreed to pay for this?
10. This person wanted to put you in more trouble.
Rather than seek agent that will put you in trouble, you can do this thing by yourself. You still have time as you are not 45 yet. If you have occupation on the skill list, you can get the process started. Check the other thread for more information. Please how can I apply for Australian tourist visa ..... I need your urgent help |

Chacha22: If it is the truth please carry on.. I have a similar story to yours. I was discouraged but I was stubborn about it, because it was the truth. And guess what, I got my Visa approved without much hassle. Go for the interview with your father's( I am assuming he is the sponsor)bank statement as well as yours to be on the safe side.
Just make sure you indicate this in the form. And be ready to answer questions about your parent's source of income and occupation. Also be ready to answer questions about the trip they took without you.(like you mentioned earlier).
PS: if it's not true, I feel they have a way of detecting lies..
All the best. Thanks too |

OmoBendel24: Go through Chacha22's transcript, compare profiles and post your observations here. There's EU study, a teacher in the Uni, family of normal international travel and good usage of visa most likely (they go abroad and return home), her sister is probably studying somewhere abroad now too, parents can easily be deduced to have put a lot into their well being that "ordinary" sponsoring of holiday may not do much discomfort to them, she could establish the "ajebority" of her parents, she has a good job like you too, she owned the interview!
Take note of how she led the VO to her strengths and all, I'm not saying copy and paste oh, but just have a template to work with, and then come back and tell us about your profile if okay with doing so. Compare notes.... Thanks very much |

Politics › The 32 Most Corrupt Countries In The World by ishiamu(op): 8:21pm On Oct 17, 2018 |
The countries seen as most corrupt tend to be in Africa, Central America, and the Middle East, in societies with weak legal and governmental systems and widespread poverty. The World Economic Forum on Tuesday released its annual corruption index as part of its "Global Competitiveness Report." Using a methodology linked to Transparency International's Corruption Perception Index, the WEF ranked 140 countries' level of corruption within their society on a scale of one to 100. A score of 100 means a country is without corruption, while zero is the most corrupt possible. All the countries featured on this list scored 30 or less. The countries the WEF views as most corrupt tend to be in Africa, Central America, and the Middle East, in societies with weak legal and governmental systems and widespread poverty. For instance, the WEF ranked Yemen, which is in the middle of a brutal civil war, as the most corrupt nation. But a handful of the world's 20 largest economies also made it onto the list. Check out the world's most corrupt nations below. T29. Sierra Leone — 30 T29. Iran — 30 T29. Ukraine — 30 T29. Gambia — 30 T22. Russia — 29 T22. Paraguay — 29 T22. Mexico — 29 T22. Laos — 29 T22. hajidel: Sponsor as in pay for your flights and other expenses then yes. Anyone can do that you just put that info in the form. But ask yourself, at your age, and your employment why would your parents want to pay for your trip? Think like a VO does that make form too much of a strong case? Not likei can't fund it, just that its some sort of promise for not going with them , when they went for theirs ... But thanks for your response |

Politics › Mohammed Santuraki: Atiku Is A Formidable Opponent, Whether We Admit It Or Not by ishiamu(op): 2:25pm On Oct 13, 2018 |
Dr mohammed Santuraki, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State, has said whether the ruling party admits it or not, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, is a "formidable opponent". He also urged the APC to put its house in order to emerge victorious in the 2019 general election. He stated this when he spoke with NAN in Suleja, Niger State on Saturday. Santuraki also urged the party to address the issues related to the primaries to ensure that the APC remains united. His words: "Whether we would like to admit or not, the presidential candidate that the main opposition party, the PDP, settled for is a formidable opponent, even if not a credible one. “Within a week of emerging as the presidential flag bearer, he appointed his campaign team and named his running mate. This to me indicates a much needed sense of urgency. We, in APC must respond in like manner. The clock is ticking. We must push the button." Speaking on the disagreements within the party, he highlighted the steps taken to address them and commended the party's leadership for its efforts. He said: “I am happy to note that 10 long days after the October 2 primary elections in Niger, better judgement eventually prevailed. Agreed, it was a choice between a rock and a hard place, but it shouldn’t have been a difficult choice. “While the election results were adjudged incomplete, flawed and inconclusive in Zone A, and the results also contested in the other zones, a greater level of injustice would have been perpetrated if the tickets were auto-awarded to the incumbents. “It is commendable that the national chairman finally accepted a more logical reasoning by awarding the victory to the presumed winners of the elections. “I congratulate and thank Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, the senatorial aspirants, the elders and other APC stakeholders for their resolute stand on the side of our people, for fairness throughout this process. I firmly believe that a flawed democratic process is better than outright dictatorship.” http://saharareporters.com/2018/10/13/whether-we-admit-it-or-not-atiku-formidable-opponent-says-apc-chieftain
