Friends, and family of the Dana plane crash victims of June 3rd convened at for a candle light procession in Lagos two days back.

In a message during the service, pastor Itua Ighodalo of the Trinity House blamed the crash on the negligence of both the government and the the airline officials.Other clerics where there to give their sermon too.

Kate Henshaw, an Nollywood actress was very emotional and could not hide her tears as she identified with the families of the victims. She shared with them that june 3rd was her mother's birthday and she was about sending her mum a birthday message when she heard about the sad news.

The Candle Light Service was further dampened with the news of bombings in the Northern part of the country. Visit blog on my signature for more photos.

I think you nailed it Insight 01.There are limitless oppourtunities, its ur drive and passion to make something out of it.I just started learning web development but i strongly believe that in a yr or little more i will own my own web developemet outfit.I dont have to wait 4 a white collar job cos i will start my own firm.Yes there are a lot of designers,of which 90 percent might be crap, but it all depends on your taste and how you develop yourself.In my first month learning, i developed a site for which they paid me 70k cash.Imagine that.I aint scared that i wont get clients cos they are abundant.You just have to have some marketing skills to and be persuasive and look,talk proffessional.As a designer you could also get the job,design it and look 4 a developer to do the rest.Believe me this is the best place to be right now cos the benefits are limitless.

Contrary 2 what u guys think,i aint for the life of me begging for attention. I can get it whereever and whenever i please. Most times i browse through this forum without commenting but at rare times like this you just feel akin and want to comment.You want to know and let others know they aint alien.After some tot i guess i shouldnt have added my pics cos seriously i aint an attention seeker.But shit happens.But that doesnt change the facts,does it?So pls ignore my pix if u will cos what has been done cant be undone.

Its not like they are conderming those who aint virgins but rather trying to say that virtue is still valuable.I have read a lot from nairaland and at a certain stage was scared that being one was like a crime especially when the guys say they want experienced ladies and wont settle for a virgin.Believe me really scary that what you had tot all along was priceless wasnt the rave anymore to the guys that mattered. I will be 27 soon,with a degree, pretty , still a virgin and waiting for the right time.[b][/b]

1.MANAGEMENT TRAINEE:
Requirements:
A.You must have a university degree/HND.
B.You must have finished N.Y.S.C

2.CAPTAINS:
Requirements:
We are looking for Type Rating Examiners (TRE0 on type. Captains need a minimum of 5000hrs; at least 2000 on jet & 1000hrs currently on type. Pilots with Jet experience may be type-rated on commercial terms.

3.FIRST OFFICERS:
Requirements:
Applicants should have at least 2000hrs on Jet and a current rating of 500hrs on type. First class medicals required. Pilots with Jet experience may be type-rated on commercial terms.

4.ENGINEERS:

Candidates should be licenced (NCAA), have a minimum of HND or University degree, height 5ft 6in with a relevant experience. Ability to speak French is an advantage.

Dare was holding Isabel's hands as they entered the park. Today they both had their days off, a rare occurence, which Dare immediately took advantage of by asking Isabel if she wanted to go out with him to which she quickly replied in the affirmative. As they sat on the bench, he leaned over to kiss and hug her and then he felt her freeze.
''What is it?'' he asked in concern.
''Tim ''she stammered, and he followed her gaze to Tim. He felt the rage boiling in him, and he clenched and unclenched his fists.
''What's he doing here''she asked.
''I dont know but i guess we are about to find out'' Dare said as Tim walked towards them.
''Isabel, so nice to see you again''he said.
''What do you want?'' asked Dare.
''I want to speak with Isabel alone''.
''Anything you want to say to me, you can say in front of my husband''replied Isabel.
''Fine then. Isabel i want to know if we can continue our relationship from where we stopped.''
''Are you crazy?''asked Dare in anger.
''You did say that you wanted your husband to stay, didnt you?'' asked Tim.
''For your information , i am a happily married woman. So i cant and will not have anything to do with a conceited, arrogant, selfish, egocentric male chauvinist pig like you.''said Isabel to a shocked Tim.
''Isabel please go to the car, I want to have a word with this guy.'' said Dare.
''What, '' said Isabel who was interrupted by Dare.
''Please.'' he said.
''Fine'' said Isabel grumpily and walked off to the car.
''I dont have much to say to you, but i know that i mean every word i say. Stay away from my wife or you will regret the day you met her.''Dare said.
''What makes you think you can speak to me like that? Is it because you are sharing her bed? Well that's nothing, because i've been there before.'' said Tim furiously.
''You slimy bastard''said Dare with a smile and continued, ''Even if you were telling the truth, i couldnt care less, because Isabel is my wife now. But i know you are lying because Isabel, my wife was a virgin when i married her. Remember, stay away from my wife abd do have a horrible day.''said Dare leaving a stunned Tim behind.

its not going to be easy to forgive these people. for pete's sake the only thing they lost was the complimentary cards they gave to us. we spent 4 days for their training in lagos and didnt even give us water to drink! no accommodation,transportation, nothing. they cost me my job,my energy and my savings! next thing they'll do is to start recruiting unsuspecting graduates. and i should forgive them. how can i stop this anger inside me? how?

It takes a lot of inner strenght, boldness and belief in yourself to resign from your work. But sometimes its neccesary and a step in the right direction. I did just the same thing on friday last week. I resigned from work because i couldnt slave a minute longer in the name of marketing. They gave me unbelievable target of five million naira monthly for a stockbroking firm that aint really known. I spent all my life savings , close to 45k, trekking to and fro, making local and international calls, browsing and chatting with would be investors, getting clothes cos they said looking good would make an impression. Not to talk of their incompetence , lack of efficienc y and ancient methods or deceptive ways of treating clients.I tried my best to do all i could to help them improve it all but the last straw was when the management backed out on the initial agreed pay of 40k and said since we didnt meet target we would be payed only 10k travelling allowances. God i was furious. I had spent more than 45k out of my lean savings for christs sake. How can i be worth only 10k to this people, a graduate for that matter. So i quit with my dignity intact. I know i will get something better but as long as i live i wont forgive that company cos they made me resign from my former workplace where i was paid 30k. So i would make sure i bring them down if that is the last thing i do.

You wont even begin to believe how i have come to detest my marketing job with its unreasonable targets and trekking. I have talents that give me great joy and satisfaction but i just aint got the cash. Just cant wait to start something of my own. I feel like a slave every week day. But alas i gots to continue my slavery with the slave wages that aint constant till you meet your target so i can eventually get to El-dorado. My brain is going to waste everyday cos i cant use it yet. I fear i might go crazy before i make that cash o!

I would like to open a service outfit that would run errands for busy people like bankers, lawyers, telecommunications workers, etc. Generally busy people who do not have the time to do stuff for themselves. Please busy people, can you give me ideas of what a services company can do to make life easier for you. What you would like to do but aint got the time to do. I really need to start putting them all together so i can start up.
