I use to say apart from I.T ... anyoen can do a banking job with a weeks training! So, nothing special!
The job is also regimented and the experience is not much to write home about.... in the wider scheme of things.
Its like being a Non-Commisioned soldier... what else can you do after retiring if nor be security man?
(okay, that was a bad joke, l respect our gallant officers pass that).

But there is a big conflict here: You need to study and develop yourself as a banker but the job itself prevents you from doing this (Early resumption, every minute pressure and late closing hours .... l wont mention that some folks still manage to enter one correct Beer parlour on their way home at 9pm, after the hectic hold-Ups!)!
How can you get home and read after that kind of day?

So, how do you cope? Very string self-determination and a strong focus on your future!
Online and weekend courses, use your annual leave to write exams as well.

I need ur canid and professional advice.......l was preparin for Nov 2014 exams(received lectures in one of thr tutorial in lagos and hv all the main textbook)and hv even paid for all the 4papers in Skill level when l fell teribly sick......I could not write the exams and hv just fully recovered...........
I knw the key to passin ICAN exams is early preparation.............do u think l stand a chance if l start reading for 2papers now(MGE & PSAF)

Pls note that assimilation rate is low now as old age is doing its part.

please am confused, I will going to service dis year may with the batch A, but I want to do my ican registration before going to service. so dat , by d time I finish d NYSC I will start writing my diet. But d problem is dat I only have the notification of result for my Hnd.

The questions are:
1. can I make use of the notification of result or I should wait till d call up letter is available. The call letter will only be available on d 27th of dis month.
2. Is it compulsory I make use of my original neco certificate Co's I only Ave d one I print online.
3. can I went ahead to buy d pin now, but I will start d registration next week. hope d pin does not have expiring date?
4. After d registration, did I need to go to ican office again.
5. Hope am on d right track after Hnd I should start my ican, after finishing d skill level diet, I should go for MBA.
6. Do u Ave any advice for me concerning my number (5)

@isobayor, hello sir. Am an accounting student who just concluded his ND last year september. Presently am planning to go for a training on E. Accounting which comprise of sage accounting, peachtree etc. Which will lasted for three weeks. Sir, after this E. Accounting i want to go for the course called Project Management professional (PMP). By doing all this i lntend to proceed for my degree or HND then start writing ICAN exams when i ave my degree.. I shld ave started writing ICAN exam frm ATS 3 but due to financial constrain because am the one sponsoring myself. Sir what is ur suggestion or advices on this plan of mine. I intend to do this E. Accounting and PMP of a thing because i want to add value to myself and my CV before i venture into HND or degree which wil be on part time basis.
