Pastor Kofo had to jump out of the bus before he got to his destination today, so laughable, but let's rewind a bit to get the whole gist.

I entered the bus in the early hour of the day and I was welcomed by a loud roar of "CORONAVIRUS is a fool, it can't survive around pastors like me", from a young and agile looking pastor Kofo, right in the front of the vehicle I tilted my head in confidence that we now have men of God who can publicly fight Covid-19 without mixed feelings.

Not up to 4 minutes a woman from behind Pastor Kofo's ears...

... the woman started coughing so seriously, and at this point the bus has started moving but not too fast, everyone's heart was racing, the driver was getting confused, it was all like a dream. We were like is this the end of Solomon G., the man we used to sing about in our poem book.

In my mind, I was thinking Pastor Kofo will rise and bounce on the woman to stage a quick deliverance for her, because I was in the spirit already.

Only to see and hear the car vibrate on motion at the fast disappearance of a passager who fizzled out through the door at the speed of light.

Guess who? I'm sure you'll guess wrong.

It was me that jumped out of the moving, I left pastor kofo in the bus even, the speed at which I bolted out of the car's door ehn, you'll think I was racing for an $100,000 medal.

A Nigerian Yoruba proverb says "No evil shall befall me is not said by passive but active person" and as a smart Yoruba boy, I needed to be active.

My brothers and sisters that was how I saved myself from what would have been called an evil communication corrupt good manner today ooo. I guess the other passengers flew out of the vehicle later, because I saw the bus packed when they could no longer bear the whooping cough from the suspected Coronavirus patient who might have been doing that as a result of other ailments.

So that's the end of my story.

The above story is a complete fiction although somewhat hilarious, but the message in there is "Stay Safe, As We Fight The Virus To A Stand Still".

REQUEST FOR VOLUNTARY EXTENSION OF SERVICE YEAR.

In light of the recent rise in pay of Corp members, I humbly request that my service year be extended by at least one year to enable me serve my Fatherland better.

To be honest, it was beginning to look gruesome at some point, as the persistent ₦19,800 alert murdered the hope/faith I had, if any, in the system but receiving ₦33,000 now, shows the country is heading in the right direction.

My first service year is for Service to my Fatherland, the second year will be for Service to my Motherland, so that my service will not be gender bias.

Going to church is God rendering services to you. He feeds you with informations that will transform your life and with which you can change others...that's why ppl don't take it important.

As far as God is concerned, those who really come to church to honor him are those who come to render services to him... Ppl who come earlier than the normal service time to clean up the church, put all things in order, pray for the ministration to meet lives and not necessarily the pastor's anointing. Those who during the service ensure that while others are just sitting listening to the ministers, all protocols are well organized, those who wait after service has ended to clean up again and render a special thanksgivings prayer session and are ready to do same during the week and not on Sundays alone. Those are the people who come to honor God in church service. Others(most people) are just churchgoers and benchwarmers.

Good day everyone, I don't know if this question has been answered on any trend before.

I have been wondering the for some time now, the importance of going to church as a religious routine.

Of course, I know the scripture says "do not forsake the assembly of others." but couldn't this assembly just be a mere visitation and meeting with other Christians at different places aside the church?

I need sincere thoughts on this, don't be bias or religious.

Sometimes, I wonder why hair grow on our yansh sef...
