Celebrities / Re: On Osinachi's Death: Marriage, Ministry And Madness Vs Separation And Safety by IsraelOA(m): 7:47pm On Apr 13, 2022
MMWandali:
Yeah

Unfortunately many today are listening more to what "pastor" said than studying the scripture themselves to understand by the interpretation of the Spirit.

Exactly
Celebrities / On Osinachi's Death: Marriage, Ministry And Madness Vs Separation And Safety by IsraelOA(m): 11:36am On Apr 12, 2022
First off, I'll establish some facts...

1. Whatsoever I'm about to say is only based on the assumption that Osinachi died as a result of a bad marriage...

2. There's nothing like church wedding (I'll explain), what we have is simply marriage, which is between a man and a woman; what they make of their marriage now depends on them both...

3. Issues in marriage is primarily between the couple and by extension the couple's families and by further extension - the court. Not peer, not religion, not even friends, because if not careful, friends or peer pressure can negatively affect your marriage, even your so called 'pastor' can destroy your home and pretend to know nothing after.

4. Getting married only because of love is ridiculous; love is not blind, love is only sentimental, but sees clearly in marriage.

5. Know when to say "I Can't This No More!"...

Having said that...

I want to begin to make some revelations (as a christian now)...

Jesus Christ did not join couples while on earth, again, Christ didn't instruct any of His apostle or disciple to conduct weddings, and there was no example of such in the early church. Yet there were teachings on marriages.

What does this show? It shows that God knows that marriage is purely traditional, but a Christian marriage should be different from sinners' kind of marriages.

Your problem begins the very moment you marry someone by the influence of a church or a denominational leader. Many today, are on this table, they make decisions in their marriages because of their church members or church leader - what they would say, how they would react.

What happens to mutual agreement, what happens to family inclusion, what happens to the court. Or don't you know that your parents and the court are more powerful than your church 'pastors'? That you wait on their decisions on how safe or unsafe it is for you to comport yourself in a abusive marriage.

My parents' marriage suffered from religious interference and it costed the family irredeemably.

My dad is late and having weighed all he went through, I have told myself and my mum that I'm choosing traditional wedding over 'church' wedding, because there has been nothing like church wedding, only modernism in religious brought it.

(I have even heard stories of ladies who do not respect their husbands at home kneel for their pastors and stories of men who treat their wives certain ways as instructed by their ignorant religious leaders - pure rubbish.)

So, my point is, don't marry in the name of a church. Know your man, know your woman; go on dates, talk reasonably and take note of the "red flags", this would save you a lot.

If you are a Christian, behave as one in your marriage, since you have the bible... I don't know if you've ever thought about why out fore-parents' marriages lasted longer that the religious-birthed marriages we have now, even without them having the bible?

Hypocrisy, ignorance, hypnotism, etc, are all deep-rooted in religious marriages.

What then should happen in case of abuse in marriage?

I'm sure you know that there is nothing like "For better for worse, till death do us part" in the bible... No, it is never there, religious people only framed it to tie down the weak spouse in the marriage.

Don't be fooled, if a man or woman slaps you, it was not a mistake, S/He planned it... If s/he abuses you verbally, it was long time coming, and If it hurts you than you can endure, take a break... I mean leave that marriage, but remain unmarried, till the man or woman has shown appropriate fruits of repentance or when it's safe for you to return; I'm still talking to Christians, of course Apostle Paul spoke volume about this already.

Now, to the general public; don't marry someone just because of LOVE.
Please, marry someone you share the same set of beliefs, purpose, interest and goals with. Let your heart be open to forgive as many times as you are offended, but don't jeopardize your life by surrendering or conceding physical abuse. Discuss these things while dating or in courtship; the talk on favourite sex positions shouldn't begin your dating periods, be wise, be solid, be intentional - delve into one another's past relationships, see what they didn't do well, she why they had several break-ups, see what they think they want to correct and watch them correct it.

Also, if you think you have a special gift that the world must know about, tell your fiance or fiancee about it before marriage; or for those in marriage already, if the battle is strong against your giftings, you either save your marriage or save your life!

...but for no reason should you die because you're being maltreated and your silent. It is a NO NO.

Please, also understand that there is a difference between divorce and separation, of course as Christians I'm talking about the choice of separation when it comes to domestic violence. We might talk about divorce later on!

Thank you, for reading.

Sports / World Cup Qualifiers: My Stadium's Experience Yesterday by IsraelOA(m): 1:28pm On Mar 30, 2022
I knew I was in for some real show yesterday, when at the bus stop, a bus that was supposed to pick 50 people to the stadium was packed full of desperate anticipating spectators of about 200. Omo, me that was planning to do gentle man style brought out the 'Benin boy' in me oo, see struggle... Eh, at the same time I was protecting my devices and my pockets to avoid double 'breakfasts'.
Some flew in from the windows, others hung to the doors, it was not funny at all.
Finally, the bus loaded with tonnes of people managed to start moving, after about 45mins, we got to the stadium, see crowd!
Fast forward... I was able to to enter the stadium after like 40minutes of perambulating on the outside. It was even quicker because I had plenty tickets as egbon brought many home the previous day...
Me wey be sharp 'benin boy', knowing the nature of the stadium I went to were it won't be difficult to 'japa' when things happen..

Of course, Nigerians didn't disappoint, things sup... So as I was saying... I was snapping and catching cruise na, watching different entertainers as they presented till the game started, even my cousin we were supposed to watch the game together had to travel back home due to the stress of entering.
The atmospheric situation from inside the stadium will give you goosebumps, even Wembley Stadium in England, Camp Nou and Santiago Bernabeu Stadia in Spain are learning... A 60,000 capacity stadium had no choice but to carry over 100,000 people, plus overflow on the outside.

Since it was not my first or second time at the National, I wasn't much thrilled, until I Ekong scored, I almost screamed my ass off, then Osimhen scored again and the stadium was thrown into pure joy - joy cut off when the goal was disallowed.
Anxiety started setting in when I saw 83' minutes spent on the scoreboard and realised that the Ghanaians away goal was about to hunt us.
Before the final whistle, Nigerian started throwing water bottles to the Ghanaians stands, and pouring different contents on them from the top stands...
Knowing what could happen at the end of the game, I starting arranging myself for a 'run'...
After the final whistle like this, I saw like 10 to 15 people rush to meet players to get their Jerseys or get their autographs, I knew something was building up... I don near exit, no time...
Within a short time, everywhere burst... but me, like an experienced Israelite that travelled on foot in the wilderness, I went through the bushes of the stadium, straight to the outer gate. See pedestrians, eh... that was were our journey started ooh.
Outside the stadium now, cars could barely move, the traffic jam was legendary...
Men and brethren, I trekked, I trokked, and trakked...‍♂️
The only reason was not tired was the fact that I saw ladies trekking too. Not exaggerating, I trekked over 8 KM... of course, Nigerians were still vandalizing the stadium, security carry president Buhari run.
My people, I had 3 stop overs while trekking, a well-meaning Nigerian bought water for me sef, ko funny at all.

After several failed attempts to stop a vehicle, one finally stopped and we rushed in... which drove over the last 22KMs... I sha got home some minutes past 11pm...
Well, whether Nigerian qualify or not isn't even the issue now, but the fact that I survived it...
As I speak to you right now, I just finished a ration or bread and egg... I can't come and go and kee myself... eh.
Obviously, we are in some sort of sh*t and we need to pray or watch things go from bad to worse.

Thank you all for reading.

Firstly, it is unscriptural that there should be a one head, Christ is the head of the Church, the Church of Christ should have plurality of eldership.

Secondly, it is unscriptural for a woman to speak publicly in the church, they should keep silent, how much more being the 'numero uno' in a so called church.

Thirdly, ...let me stop here... because the Church Christ said he'd build isn't SCOAN, Living Faith, Deeper Life, Redeemed, but the Church of Christ - non-denominational, leading the saved and baptized to Heaven...

KEVIND:
The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), founded by late Prophet T.B Joshua, welcomed back its members for physical services on Sunday after 21 months of closure.

Worshippers trooped in for services at the headquarters of the church located at the Ikotun Egbe, Lagos.

P.M. News correspondent who attended the service observed that despite the crowd, the church adhered to the COVID-19 protocols.

Regular Sunday services were put on hold in March 2020, following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, long before the sudden demise of the founder and General Overseer of the ministry, late Prophet T.B Joshua on June 5, 2021.

Till his passing on June 5, the church remained under lock.

The late cleric had insisted that the church would only be re-opened when there were divine instructions to that effect.

Today will be the first physical service globally under the church’s new leadership of Prophetess Evelyn TB Joshua who had also maintained the position of her late husband on the reopening.

Religion / Many Denominations, Many Doctrines And The Way Out by IsraelOA(m): 9:23am On Apr 11, 2021
Apparently, most modern Christians have formed their theology by people they’ve heard instead of by Scripture they’ve studied.

We have over 30,000 denominations pedalling different doctrines rooted in their founders' beliefs, who often make mistakes as human and imperfect, thereby misleading hundreds and thousands of followers.

Listen up, no amount of theological education - whether through elite schooling, renown teachers, or best-selling books - will surpass the simple act of approaching God’s word each and every day with humility and prayer.

So my Friend, in my own candid advice - Open your Bible and let the Holy Spirit teach you.

If there's a need for you to UN-LEARN to RE-LEARN, please do. No false teacher would stand for you in judgement. In fact, no theologian died for you, but Jesus did. So study the Scriptures to be approved of God and not men!

Cheers!!

Happy Sunday.

Religion / SUNDAY: Should I go to CHURCH or not? by IsraelOA(m): 10:38am On Dec 06, 2020
You see, most of us in different parts of the world have grown up believing that the Church was a building, and that you went to worship as a weekly activity; thinking Faith, life and spiritual growth were all about getting into a building, because that building was where we can only encounter God.
That is only a partial truth.
But the greater and far more glorious truth dear friend, is that you are the Church; that God is ever-present, around and within you. And so wherever you find yourself this Sunday, is a Holy ground. When your mind and heart are oriented toward the things of God, your very life is an act of worship.
I repeat: When your mind and heart are oriented toward the things of God, your very life is an act of worship.
This Sunday:
You may be snuggled in your bed with your family and dog, telling stories and giggling away the morning, God is there.
You may be driving, walking or jogging through the empty roads with your heart opened, God is there with you.
You might be in the garden, your knees pressed to the damp soil, smelling the leaves just popping up through the ground, that's a Sacred ground too, God is there.
Church-less Sundays can bring a great deal of guilt, especially if you grew up in organized religion and when you find your spiritual life being defined by church attendance, you can tend to feel like you’re doing it wrong, or less spiritual. Please don't!
For many people, the main hindrance to their spiritual intimacy with God is organized religion, where there is a designed pattern of worship, with time allotted to every activities, whether you're carried along or not.
It is the thing that most hinders their pursuit of peace. It actually creates unrest within them.
Beloved, Divinity often comes disguised in ordinary days, uneventful moments, and typical conversations: making breakfast with your kids, playing with your pets, getting a rare quiet pause with your kid, reading a book you love. Which comes with rich, beautiful, faith-affirming experiences that do more for your soul than an organized worship service ever could.
Everything God has for you is available to you right where you are; in the washroom, in bed, around your table, at the game, pruning the flowers, driving down the street.
Christianity isn’t a building or an hour-long Sunday morning activity. It’s you living with a desire to reflect Jesus. Say Amen!!
Wherever you find yourself this Sunday, do this as best you can. God is with you. Whether inside or outside the church building, whether in your Sunday best or in ragged pajamas—be encouraged and be the CHRISTIAN died and rose for.
God Bless You, Much Love!

It is so painful that people don't want to break loose from denominationalism... Be the Church, stop fooling yourself!

Denominational isn't the will of God for a perfect church, a place of strict rules, a place of DOs and DONTs, a place of formality, a place of structural organization is not the will of the Father.

The church is the fellowship of two or three believers, anywhere and anytime...

Stop obeying the Law of Moses and claiming to be a New testament believer.
