I want to know , is it only the people under the payroll of FG , that are buying a ltr for 1000 or its every body , are they the only ones buying items on high increase ? What happens to people that are not under the payroll of FG. This is evil and the adjustment will not make any meaning to the burden people are already facing. I am sure that people whose payroll you are under have adjusted your or you have increased your salary if you are self employed... For illustration i picked aboki daily labor at N2500/day in 2020. Early 2023 aboki was N8000/day. Its N12000 currently. |

ivolt: That's nonsense. There are hundreds of mental health issues. Very few of them preclude a witnesses' testimony from being taken.
Moreover, a court martial is not a law court, its primary role is to make the army look good and justice secondary. And Ruth already committed a punishable offense by going public in their eyes. Such issues are supposed to be treated hush-hush.
This army release repeated the ambiguos term "Medically vulnerable" to hide the serious crime that have been committed.
When an officer become incompetent, the right thing to do is to discharge them but the boss kept her in the force serially medicated for his own purpose. A perfect patsy. You painted a perfect picture. What on earth is medially vulnerable. She rejected their advances or got tired of it. She suffered victimisation in the army. Thank God they didn't kill her. |

mastermaestro: About 80% of those who own private jets soon regret it after realizing how wasteful and resource-consuming they can be. Owning a private jet is only helpful to the super rich whose travel schedules are tight and unpredictable. Before you argue, do your research.
Most people who rush to acquire it, because they want to compete in the ego game, usually end up leasing it out quietly in order to meet up with maintenance costs. Private jet will destroy your finances if you are not in the perfect category I described up there.
Use charter services instead in order to have peace of mind. Meanwhile I don't refer to Kalu here one bit. He can maintain his, dude is rich by the way. He is just playing to the gallery. Crime › Re: Why Police Can't Track Kidnapper's Phone Calls by iswallker(m): 3:24pm On Aug 31, 2024 |
vanbonattel: I took time to read the whole article, and as detailed as it is, it still points to what some people have been talking about, THE NEED FOE STATE POLICE.
There are many factors the article pointed out, like the priority of successive police administrators like the IGPs, they said after Arase left the force, other heads of police refused to prioritise technical tracking of crimes. This brings to the fore what the negligence of one head, who may be from a region that loves kidnapping can do to wreck havoc on another region that could have afforded the technology to install the tracking system in their own states or regions. But since everything is centrally controlled, the failure in Abuja will be repeated in Lagos.
If you give the chance to Anambra state government to control their own police postings, they will know who to place in control of Ogbaru, or Onitsha. A person who is well versed in the area, can pick out patterns and make interventions. But place a Sokoto man with his assistants in the top echelon of the police in Delta state, locals will wake up one day and witness crime, they won't know who the criminals and police are, because they speak the same language, look exactly the same, maybe interchange uniform and arms, and collaborate each others activities.
If you check very well, maybe an Ogun state man might have led the team to rescue the Emir of Gobir, a man whose highest crime stopping experience is just catching people who do ritual killings, then you send him to enter a thick forest and catch dare devil kidnappers from maybe Niger Republic etc, he has already failed. He doesn't understand the language or the culture. See your big head - why do you have to associate Ogun State with ritual killings... |

Just imagine that criminals kidnap a police officer and the whole police officers force go on strike. How does that help their case?
NARD could have adopted a more sensible and matured approach to drawing attention to the unfortunate situation of their member instead of going on a nationwide strike. Is it that they don't have elders in the profession to guide them ni?
Criminals kidnap their member in Plateau state and while security agencies are on it, they are demanding that patients need to die across the country.

So why not declare the strike in his state? Why should someone in faraway Bayelsa suffer for the sin of kaduna state governor? Use your sense, many pregnant women, children, sick people,’poor Nigerians will die because of this strike.
The kidnapped doctor shall be rescued by the power of God, but will the lost lives from the strike be replaced ? Still the same nonsense... You think because evil goes on a few blocks away from your apartment - it will never reach you. You will be surprised.. |

advocatejare: It’s heartbreaking to be in kidnappers den for that long but why are those doctors always going on strike for everything? Insecurity is affecting every profession in Nigeria and not limited to doctors alone. So ASUU should go on strike if a lecturer is kidnapped, all banks should shut down if a banker is kidnapped, soldiers should go on strike if a soldier is kidnapped, markets should shut down if a trader is kidnapped ?
Govt should tackle insecurity and make sure everyone including the doctor in kidnappers’ den is freed!
Doctors should stop going on strike for things like this, many people will die because of their action. The masses who are also suffering from kidnappers will suffer more with this.
They should be reasonable! Searching for the sense in your writeup - I can't find any....not a tiny bit. How can somebody be kidnapped for eight months and we pretend all is well...the governor's even did owambe wedding in taraba over the weekend - those are the chief security officers in the states. Government should have declared state of emergency on security..it's an attack on the sovereignty of the nation for people not to be able to move freely without being kidnapped and killed... |

That aside. A lot of sellers take advantage of the economic situation to cheat others. One woman close to my house sells candles 200 naira, when she told me the price, she added that it was Tinubu o. Two weeks later I discovered that the actual price was 150 naira. Women are the ones inflating food items. They're just greedy Dey play... A 1 liter bottle of paraeforce is #7300 current price. I transport to the farm at least once per week @ #3000. I should actually go 2ce but not feasible considering the cost. This is minus cost of labor pesticide is over #11000 per 1 liter bottle. Then of course losses due to weather and thieves. Finally transport to market.... I used to buy all these chemicals #1500 - #2000. You won't even know you bought anything. |

FreeStuffsNG: UNILAG must not join the strike unless....
ASUU is no longer the only union for university lecturers and decisions reached on behalf of the university lecturers are not binding on lecturers in private universities and some state universities like LASU, UNIOSUN etc. Those schools don't go on strike yet ASUU claims to be fighting for all the Nigerian lecturers including lecturers of those universities that don't observe the strike but later reap from whatever concession ASUU employers give to ASUU after only schools like UNILAG are shut. That's an unfair and unjust strike! It should be all or none!
Strikes called by ASUU since the advent of private universities and state universities in Nigeria have been discriminatory against only students in some public universities and it's clear that the students are being used as a bargaining chip. That's against the principle of justice.
Each university management and their students should demand for the rights of their students until all the universities close and proceed on strike or no strike. All universities in Nigeria must observe the strike or no strike.

Mayflowa: Senator Aderamodu didn't deny the allegation. He said the 21 million naira was not meant for personal use but for running office like buying stationery, letterhead. I don't really know what he meant by running office. Do senators pay for their aides themselves? NO; Do senators pay for diesel for powering their offices? NO. There should be a request office for stationeries.
Let's assume you spend some money to run your office, Why is this money paid to their personal account? He talks about director-general having money to run office. Do they pay these money to director-general's personal account. This is a poor fiscal accountability, fraudulent and distasteful. Anyone can squander money in his or her personnel account. Is this how other senate are run in other part of the world? The truth is that the woman senator that report 21m naira is also lying. The money is probably 40m monthly.
I don't think senators deserve constituency fees. What can you do with say 100m constituency allowance? How do you even award the contract? These are ploy to steal monies of our sweat and blood. I sight you... Trained by Tai Solarin ... Always speaking the the truth to power... By the way the head of my unit - equivalent to a director - gets N10,000 running cost per month. |
