- Rivers State is not the only state currently running a CT system in Nigeria.

- Rivers State Electoral Commission has already fixed LG elections for Oct.2024 & not INEC.

- Rivers State is a very rich state & Gov. Sim can still fund/pay the caretaker chairmen till Oct. when the LG elections would be conducted by Rivers State Electoral commission .

- Many poor State Governors (especially in the North, South west ) who are currently running a caretaker chairmen system would revolt & would not implement the Supreme Court ruling because if they do, no money for them again.

- Not all elected local government chairman would betray their Governors. Dem go just dey chop Tinubu federal government money but dem go still pledge alliegence to their governors at the end.

In Rivers state, as usual the supreme court judgement will have a different meaning. I know Fubara will be planning on how to get a court order from Rivers state high court restraining the president from carrying out the judgement of the supreme court.
