My emphasis here is not on a position of evangelist, since preaching the gospel is not restricted to only one office but rather its a responsibility assigned to every believer.
So, let's assume the context here is that of someone who is looking for ways to minister to people who can probably quote the bible better than them, but are stark n.aked on the internet. |

someone is playing with fire by choice, compulsion or error.
all entreaties are ineffective.
yet you still have a burden for the person and do not want to leave them.
What would you consider a more effective way of preaching- evangelize from a safe distance so you dont get caught up in fire, or join the person and you both play with the fire while you preach?
remember the topic is about the unclad culture on the internet which is the lifestyle of actual people. |

Ajibam: That's true, ignorance is a major setback.. Yes, we are all flesh, but We can subdue flesh if we don't play with fire. how to minister to those who are already playing with fire? talk from the sidelines or join them then preach? That's lovely of her, it shouldn't be a big deal since others are unclad too perhaps. there were no photographers there though. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Reaching Out To The Unchurched by itstpia1(op): 4:47pm On Oct 09, 2014 |
basically, what i'm asking here is how do we minister to the n.aked?
most of who have already heard the gospel at some point.
is it expedient, advisable or possible for a bible believing Christian to enter their enclave in the n.ude (ie as a n.ude) in order to preach to them?
With the full understanding the nudie bible believer will be photographed, marked and also ostracised by all who know them? It represents a totally different lifestyle, value system, and you are not even sure whether or not you will come out alive.
The other option is for the preaching to come from within, ie from among the nudies themselves. |
Christianity Etc › Do You Listen In Church? by itstpia1(op): 4:40pm On Oct 09, 2014 |
or is your mind elsewhere?
What type of accent do you prefer your preacher/pastor/minister/religious figure/whoever is on the pulpit to have?
ie what accent are you comfortable with?
I need this for research, thanks.
waiting for your answers. |

Tilapia is a nutjob - but she's a legend though.
We as black people in the general love the blame game, that's like our bread and butter, and what makes us unique. However, Nigerians took that ish to the next level, higher than stratosphere. I think it has to do with illiteracy, and being overly religious. It's always about the devil and enemies, even when they know they're in the wrong, and they have been in the wrong for a long time - till they got their just due.
Bwoi, I was cracking up yesterday as a guest while reading all the comments on the initial thread. The ignorance on display was so comical that I literally almost started shedding tears. Just had to ignore the thread, before they descend on you like a wolfpack, especially when the thread is crowded. These folks need mental and spiritual cleansing. hey, b.astard, who is tilapia? your mama? |

imo the blog was taken offline for other reasons besides these various excuses given.
nigeria's money is being tracked and seized all over the place, ISIS is up and running, and people have to cover their butts.
etc etc.
better to give the whole process another name while setting all the dominos in place and preparing the next set of workers. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Should A Christian Pray Back To Sender Prayer? by itstpia1: 3:00pm On Oct 09, 2014 |
Vanitageorge: Its not about 'whose' child is ritually abused. Irrelevant. There are children being abused. Full stop. If someone is 'handed over to satan ' as they have 'one foot here and one there',,,same to witches and warlocks that curse people return the curses. Amen...u dont even know about ritual abuse by your question...keep saying your peace prayers. Let Gods elect army as in Gideons time pray for all for the innocent in jesus' name. the question is should christians pray back to sender prayer, not come and inform us your child is being ritually abused. You can open a separate thread for that. If you are going to start listing instances of situations which you base your back to sender prayer on, then that will derail the thread since everybody can also list their own grievances as you are not the only one with them? or do you feel you are the only person with a grievance? |
