Only a slowpoke will anoint him as APC candidate. How many states does he control? Obasanjo lost ALL south west states except Ekiti in the 1999 elections. Dude even lost his OWN state disgracefully. He still went ahead to win with a high margin. Amaechi can lose Rivers. No one send. As long as the north votes him, fine |

seunmsg: The message is clear, he’s contesting just to fulfill a moral burden (whatever that means) and not because he stand any chance of winning. Yes. Lemme explain "moral duty". Dude knows he has what it takes to move this nation forward. It would be immoral for him not to contest. I mean, what do we want in a president? Dude is young, Mr. Performer (best performing Minister in Buhari's cabinet), an experienced politician, a detribalized politician and a man dear to the president's heart and the hearts of the president's people in Katsina. |

id4sho: Let's watch closely, Rivers resources was used to bring PMB to power and ameachi took a risk by fighting GEJ and damming all consequences. To cap it all, ameachi was DG campaign for PMB 2015&2019. This man deserves PMBs support Buhari actually ORDERED him to contest. Amaechi told him he doesn't want to contest and Buhari told him he is mad. He asked Amaechi, "You think I imposed Adamu, only for you not to declare? Are you not the one who even gave Adamu money to contest for chairmanship position? Are you mad Amaechi? You must be president, whether you like it or not". Amaechi did not have any presidential ambition. See screenshot below

seunmsg: I wholeheartedly welcome him to the race. He has paid his due as a politician and a public administrator.
The APC presidential primary will be a very competitive one with aspirants like Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Yemi Osinbajo, Dave Umahi, Rotimi Amaechi etc. A free, fair and credible primary election will be conducted and the winner will be supported at the general election.
There will be no consensus so Amaechi should start a nationwide consultation immediately. I wish him the best of luck as he pursues his presidential ambition. Amaechi dey shade one person I know

Politics › Re: Don't Impose Consensus Candidate On APC Aspirants, Party Leaders Tell Buhari by ityP(m): 6:21pm On Apr 08, 2022 |
kilisi: Don't you get it? In the event of an imposition of consensus candidate where all other aspirants do not agree through writing, it's a loss for the cabals because it is clearly against the APC constitution which allows for consensus but must be agreed to by all the contestants. All an aggrieved contestant has to do is approach the court and even if APC wins, it's given to PDP as APC would have no candidate in the of the eye of the law during the election.
Let's leave emotions and sentiments aside when analysing issues. You didnt see what happened in convention? Some came to stage and said "dem no go gree", but nobody send them. Consensus is another word for imposition. If you no gree that day, na you sabi. You MUST sha sign. I remember D. Olusegun coming to the convention ground with his people, he was insisting that nothing like consensus . Las las, dude came on stage to cry that he has dropped. Las las, Tinubu will do same |
