Hello fellow nairalanders, pls advise needed on this issue.

My bf and I have been together for a while now and planning on having our marriage introduction by November and marriage proper early next year.

Im an independent woman with a gud job. As a matter of fact, ive never made any financial request from this guy though he buys gift for me without requesting. He is doing well financially too, he runs a recycling factory while I work with a manufacturing company.

Things are working well between us since the relationship started untill recently when we had some business deals together ( my opinion though) cos I don't understand him anymore. He was broke at that time and needed to get some materials which he never budgeted for. He requested that I invest in his company by paying for those materials since they're coming cheap and he doesn't have enough to get them at that time and wouldn't want to loose the opportunity. I consented to the idea cos I knew he's business was very lucrative and that I'll get my money back with interest. He promised to be paying me a weekly dividend so I thought of giving 1 million naira. I made an instant transfer of 500k to his account as dts the maximum I can do daily without a token and I wasn't with it then.

The 2nd day dt I was suppose to send the remaining money, some issues occurred in his company in my presence. He had some major issues with some of the equipments in his factory. He had to stop productions for some days. So i with held the balance as it wont be neccesary since there was no production.While repairs were ongoing? I had to liase with some of my junior colleagues at work who are engineers to help my bf cos I found out he's engineer's aren't capable of handling the situation as dts the first time he would experience such. As God will have it operations started back in few days with the support of my engineers.

My concern now is since things went back to normal in my bf compan' he's yet to keep to his promise of the weekly dividend he said I would be receiving from the investment. As a matter of fact , things has changed between us cos he no longer call and hardly pick my calls. I communicate with him mostly thru SMS now since he wouldn't pick my calls. I'd sent messages to him to return my money without interest and he has promised to pay back with no time and date of when he's going to pay back. I even had plans of going to his place today since im off work so as to force him to go to the bank with him so DT I can get my money but he left the house early in the morning with excuses that he has a place to go and would return to my place after leaving there.

Pls guys how best can I get this money back from him cos I know he has it but playing pranks on me. I don't mind loosing my relationship with him as I don't trust him any longer.

Why can't you give him like 1 - 2 months for him to stabilize his company.

This past sunday i decided to hangout so i went to an hotel with my guy and we chilled at the bar and had a couple of drinks while watching man u trash everton, later that same day about 8pm while at the pool side i saw this girl with a g-wagon ass, i called her then we talk but conji got the better of me and i asked what her bill and we negotiated and finally agreed an amount; we went to her room @ the hotel and bleeped for about an hour, she was surprised i dint cum afta so long, i told her that how have trained my body she was impressed and we laugh over it then we went back to the poolside and i decided to get to know her more, she told me about herself and family, she couldnt go to the uni cos of funds and she's the bread winner of her family both parents are dead.

I felt pity for her but deep down i felt bad about myself also cos i made a mistake.

Please i need cogent advice right now cos am comtemplating giving her a well paid job and some upkeep so she can stop been a runs babe and get a better future for herself.

Its not a friends story or from a blog,its mine and I want you all to read and give me matured advice.

I've been in a relationship for almost 8 months now and everytime I go to visit my bf..he must demand sex,even if I say am on my period.

Abuja –Two Nigerian soldiers attached to the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) were killed while six others injured in a confrontation with Boko Haram terrorists, yesterday.

Also, the air component of the MNJTF, led by the Nigerian Airforce, carried out aerial bombardment of 12 different camps of the terrorists located at border areas with Niger, Chad and Cameroon, destroying the camps and killing some of the terrorists.

This development was disclosed by Col. Muhammed Dole, spokesman for the MNJTF, who said that scores of the terrorists also surrendered to troops when they saw that there was no way out for them.

The statement read: “The effects of difficult terrains and unpredictable weather conditions continue to pose serious challenges to the conduct of Operation Gama Wiki.

“However, despite these limitations for the ground forces, the air component of the operation, through successful combined air operations, continue to deny the terrorists freedom of action and movement within the battle fields.

“Recent air strikes and simultaneous clearing operations on 12 identified Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) camps and hideouts have greatly shattered their cohesion.

“Moreover, continuous blockade of the terrorists main supply routes and arrest of their logistics suppliers caused serious economic hardship and led to the surrender of many terrorists in different locations in the Area of Operation (AOO) of Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF).

“Additionally, the troops of Sector 4 in Diffa Niger Republic tracked and neutralized 4 Boko Haram Terrorists suspected to have attacked the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp and Two (2) others were arrested at Tumoua village”.
