Oga spokes persons to the prisons, just say you received an order from above to place handcuff on his hand, and not all this long super story.

We are finished under this administration of Buhari, don't tell me the govt can just wake up at any time and impose laws over night, how can foreign investors, have confidence on the economy of Nigeria, and our President travels @ will, looking for foreign direct investment, this govt is something else.

John Momoh coming for that guy, Perhaps this can lead to "Channels tv" loosing the best TV of the year for 2016, for the unprofessional conduct of this guy...

OP the difference is that when you are with EFCC, you get small respect as EFCC cell no be jail just like Dokpasi.

Metuh was with EFCC, but he go court to ask to be free but court send am go prison. When he was in EFCC cell, was he in handcuff?

Its is so unfortunate that many of us dont know our rights, as a Nigerian citizen by law, you can not be arrested a place in a detention for more than 24hours, it is illegal, its either the case is charged to court or you allow the person go, Mentu is a lawyer he knows that, dat is while he might have refused to stay in the efcc custody, and also to talk, becos anything he says can be used against him, in the court of law.

When will Fashola be handcuff, until the fight against corruption is cut accross all boards, inrespective of party affiliations, den it will still be regarded as impunity, @ least the last 16yrs of PDP, people like Bode George a big time pdp fellow was sent to prison for corruption related issue, until we see dat happening in this Govt, den the fight against corruption remains selective.

I want to Also ask you,if efcc didn't have such... Wat is the essence of his lawyers.. I thought is the duty of his lawyers to fill case against efcc.....

The truth is this the lawyers knew that efcc did the right thing,hence they culd not do anything....

Ask yourself what action did their lawyers take.... did you read in anywhere that he refused arrest Cuz he was not shown warrant of arrest?.I saw that efcc did their work very clean and well planned....

In advance countries like US, UK etc, wen you come to my house to arrest me, the first thing you will be asked is "Warrant of arrest" without dat, the person is going now where, I think in Nigeria it is a different ball game.

Efcc can rearrest him with any offence they deem fit,while investigating. Provided he has not stayed in efcc custody without charge, over d day stipulated by constitution....

To me Wat I think efcc is doing now is spreading Lik 20 charges and rearresting you as many times as possible.... so that you cnt meet any bail and stay with them till your case is decided...

Just a simple question, have you heard of the word "Warrant of arrest" and the question is does the EFCC have such @ as the time of re-arresting that individual @ the front of the court or behind the court like you rightly put it. The answer is NO

Gone are the days EFCC will arrest one on a 70 count charge.. Now they spread the charges. So once you're maneuver your way from on, they get you on another one, and another one...
Main while, you're losing money on hiring attorneys.
As a citizen who is always at the receiving end we should make up our mind if we're going to support this war on corruption or oppose it.

Every reasonable Nigeria will stand by president Buhari on his fight against corruption, but the manner @ which he President Buhari is going about it is questionable/selective, if the fight against corruption can be uniform accross board, inrespective of party affiliation, you will see all Nigerians both home and abroad supporting this government.

You're getting things missed up, know one is saying you can not re-arrest someone that has been granted bail by a competent court of law, if he/she is found guilty, but before you can do so, you hv to be able to prove beyond reasonable doubt, have facts and figures to back up reasons for re-arresting the individual, you and I know wat this present "Govt" does in cases of the NIMASA man, he was re-arrested after he was granted bail, right @ the front of the court, and @ as then, the EFCC were still looking for charges against him so many of them, the video is online for you to make reference to.

I am watching, I hope he would not be re-arrested again, as he is about to leave the court, dis govt is found of doing so...

The government has not done any of these, it will always be a matter for public discourse which is a vital ingredient of democracy. You simply can't gag the press and the public from analysing issues as they arise.

Yes you are correct, but we the public and the Govt has to be careful in doing so, becos the person in question is still innocent.

Handcuffs are supposedly meant for violent and dangerous criminals. If the government continues in it's desperate effort to humiliate these people and at the end of the day the court fails to convict them, they'd end up turning them into overnight heroes.

Every accused person should be treated with dignity, they are innocent until proven otherwise by a court of law.
