solakotan:Why would you buy a Toyota with more than 210000 miles? You are going to need to replace the engine because it's journals and bearings would have worn out and fragmented. The lobes would be roundish when the engine would be taken apart. It's designed for 10 years and 200000 miles. |
@sola solakotan:This is a CAMRY with 4 or more owners within Florida. It's a '98 with more than 210,000 miles. It has a clean record. It probably has gone through a colour change 'cause exterior colour was noted more than once. @shawla shawla:1998 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR 5LMRU27L3WLJ36906 with two isolated salvage titles. It's been in an accident. @Kar khar:This car is a total fraud. It's been accidented, salvaged/rebuilt, probably been in flood, mileage has been rolledback and probably done its mechanical limits. It has been categorised a LEMON. Status shows that it was imported to Nigeria @10/18/2006. It's a CAMRY. The worst thing you can do is to ride a car that has been wet (flood or immersed). It automatically becomes a mechanical coffin on wheels. It is condemned and cannot be redeemed. |
khar:It is Junk Title and not Junk Registration. A vehcle is salvage and deemed as 75% or more less than it's current market value. A junk title (from the name implies) is of no value. It probably at a junkyard or something waiting to be crushed. Open up a thread and ask fellow nairalanders. They will give you the appropriate answer to the question. Do not consider buying such a vehicle. It should not be an option. |
dewaledeyi:You are better off leaving me an offline message. YahooID for messenger is IVAIE. |
Y'all welcome! |
Viperman, Nissans before 2000 were built by Nissan of Japan and has no euro influence to it. The chassis of that Maxima is perfect just as the 92 - 96 Camry chassis was deem flawless that the Sienna was built on that very configuration. The I30 from my understanding is a rebadged Maxima. |
@Mu Mu:2005 NISSAN ALTIMA S/SL 1N4AL11D65C181359 SEDAN 4 DR 2.5L L4 SFI DOHC 16V / FRONT WHEEL DRIVE It's guaranteed and there is no flag against this. It's got a clean record. @dewal dewaledeyi:1999 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO 1J4GW58S0XC721714 4 DR. WAGON/SPORT UTILITY 4.0L L6 FI / 4 WHEEL DRIVE Averaged 18000 miles a year, in my opinion, excessively driven. Fairfax Virginia isn't big enough to acrue that many miles. It's got a clean sheet. @Kar khar:1993 TOYOTA CAMRY XLE 4T1VK13E8PU084189 SEDAN 4 DR 3.0L V6 FI / FRONT WHEEL DRIVE This vehicle has a JUNK title (damage is more than 75%). It's been declared junk by the state of Florida and cannot be registered. It's a TMU (total miles unknown) or actual mile unknown and shipped to Texas where it gladly got a new owner. If you are considering this as a vehicle, I recommend you reconsider or get a second opinion. @Para paulmamud:1999 TOYOTA CAMRY 4T1BG22K5XU540828 SEDAN 4 DR 2.2L L4 FI 16V / FRONT WHEEL DRIVE Vehicle was in an accident in January 2005. Vehicle was shipped to Benin in April of 2007. nB - Vehicle for its age already has had suspension serviced. This isn't a high velocity or performance car and would not require such till ten or more years have lapse. There is a report of "suspension system" service noted in 2002. Camry's have no suspension system but McPherson struts configuration. Something just isn't right. Take note of that. |
stepy:Use AutoCheck or Carfax. You can stop at a dealership and have them run your VIN or contact your insurance agent. There is no charge for that but may not be detailed. Never use CARMAX. |
This isn't a '99. The rear, fog and blinker reflectors were modified to knock age off its model. The car's clean. Is this US. spec? I suggest youget down with Viperman/Prince Lex and negotiate how this vehicle will be sold. You don't have enough credibility to have serious buyers patronise you. This is wihout disrespect. If I was to spend $10,000 on a car, I'd expect some kind of confidence, assurance and guarantee. Some advice since you stated your ad as URGENT. |
thegame:Isn't this better than the Murano and the Camry in aerostyling? When you have such taste, why do you take sides with an incomplete helicopter? This Porsche has been restyled and lowered by it's owner. It's got aftermarker front spoiler, aftermarket calipers and probably wheels. It isn't stock but all the same good. I like Porsches but would love RUFs if they were in the United States. They are becoming common now and a lot of kids ride these around. |
Nissan is a good car and the higher model of the sedan is the Maxima. Nissans were on the verge of a bankrupt state as of that era before they were bought over by Renault so ABS wasn't fitted as standard. If that doesn't matter to you, then go with your search. Whatever you conclude on, make sure it doesn't burn or use up oil. I won't bank on MSN for auto reviews. I believe they get paid for the nice reviews posted. |
tundysho: I am of nigerian lineage. I am nigerian by blood and heritage and acadian by birth (which is a heritage better than those without roots). |
bajito:2000 NISSAN ALTIMA XE/GXE/SE/GLE 1N4DL01D4YC196437 SEDAN 4 DR 2.4L L4 FI / FRONT WHEEL DRIVE It's got a salvage title from Connecticut and was imported to Nigeria on the 22 of Sept 2007. |
shawla:Don't you ever settle for a salvage car. They aren't safe and in many states, not road worthy and ineligible for registration. Besides safety and durability, it's not less than a tenth of its resale value. Purchasing it at standard resale value is a complete reap-off. This is the reason why they don't disclose it to you at purchase. Worse off, you can't sell it to anyone when you want to get rid of it. Don't dream of purchasing a salvage Mercedes. I guess you can imagine what I am going to imply. That Mercedes is prone to rust, even if you take care of it and could be so bad that its frame could fall off it's wishbone plates and the frame off it's suspension. That is Chrysler for you. Some dealership will treat rusts at no charge and some, out of your pocket. Numerous electrical problems but not half as bad as 99 - 02. You won't top this with a salvage title cause you won't be able to get rid of it. |

Panache:If you have a load of VINS, you beter off hurrying 'cause I have 20 days to go. |
jenju:Doesn't necessarily mean it's bad as high in mileage. What it details is that there are going to be a lot more repairs to be done and more details to attention (mounts, subframe-mounts etc) replaced. I want to believe Maryland is a big city. |
I will speak from a Mercedes standpoint since I have detailed Mercedes for more than a decade now. Mercedes built for tropical climates and some parts of Europe that don't have access to 91 RON+MON or more (US. premium fuel) or equiv. have a 2 to 3 degree of retarded timing. Through its lifetime, you'd never experience knocks and pings or serious engine problem. Without the retard, you'd hear the valves knocking because it's preigniting (predetonation) and that is the beginning of a history of engine damage. Ignore the pings and you might have a blown engine (if it's a high compression engine). If you've noticed, those with padded Benzes that were shipped from the US had engine problems or complications arising from wrong fuel usage. That is that. I am sure it applies to the rest of interal combustion and mechanics. Besides poor driveability, the gasoline isn't burnt well. Benzes are built to burn slowly or combust cooler. A design in this idea is matched with a premium gasoline. A car designed to burn rapidly or combust hotter will run on regular fuel. Some people claim that there are sensors that tell what octane has been fueled and engine management unit compensates for octane variability. How that is true, I cannot say 'cause I haven't scientific theory that backs that up. Some people argue but there is a standard. If the manu.f says Premium, use as said. If you knew better, you should be working there. |
This is not a '99 and what's up with the Check engine light? |
kikikiki:In honesty, Jaguars are not reliable. If you have two other cars in your lot, then it's all good. Being a sole car isn't a good idea. It's just an unpredictable car and it's known for that nature. I love Jaguars but my personality cannot stand its weakness. Secondly, the S type isnt a good idea. |
Gobi38:You are marketting to the wrong people. I Camry for a price of a Mercedes is a steep call. Besides that, anyone with that kind of money isn't on Nairaland. If they worked honestly for that kind of money, their bargain wouldn't be on Nairaland. You aren't offering warranty on that vehicle and the parts for that vehicle isn't available at the dealership except it's ordered. Weigh the pro's and con's. Last time I was in Nigeria, Camry wasn't hot cake. How the sudden change? |
my bro i beg oh - my VIN is still pending - am between the red-blue sea oh (4T1BG22K6XU430273) THANKS OH
