Bros, not only ladies abeg. I do this as well especially when the person is fast becoming a nuisance. Sometimes I dont respond to pm or facebook messages for days just so the person knows that because you see me online doesnt mean I have to to chat away my time. You might even manage to chat with one, and because u didnt respond in less than 30 seconds (I could be chatting with someone else at the same time), then he/she starts pinging you like wth.
So, bros, spare the ladies, it is not a feminine thing...it is for those who are in the know.

Even if his shy to pop the question, if truly he has you in his plans , he is more likely to talk to you in a way that sugest that.
Eg wanting to meet your fam, talking about future plans that includes you both being together, wanting the best of the future for you both, aspiring to be a good husby for you etc. Its a no brainer

Another important question is, is he finacially ready?

He isn't ready to commit to marriage. Mybe he sincerely loves you ad would like to marry you in the near future but certainly not now and most importantly , he doesn't know when either.

I gues he wants to get comfortable first. Seeing your mum , he came face to reality and the truth is, he is just not ready okay?

You need to let him be. Its gona be hard but its best you don't persuade him into a marriage he is not sure off coz certainly it won't end well .

A guy was being bullied and you defended this poor, hapless boy. For you to understand why this touched me so deeply, I have to tell you a little bit about myself.
My mother died giving birth to me and my father never forgave me for it. He got married to another woman soon after and she hated my guts. She claimed I was a constant reminder of my mother, thus I was a threat to her relationship with my father. One day she accused me of being rude to her and started beating me mercilessly. I screamed in agony as she slammed my head into the wall repeatedly but my father did nothing. Sobs were racking through my body, I reached out to my father for help and he looked me in the eye and said he wished I had died instead. When she got tired of beating me, she went to bring fresh pepper and rubbed it in my eyes, I screamed myself hoarse. To this day, I'm partially blind in one eye. I'm sorry, I'm feeling so emotional right now. I haven't cried like this since childhood, but when I saw that post of yours, I just couldn't contain the grief and sorrow I've been suppressing all these years anymore. My mind flashed back to that day and in my mind's eye you were standing in the exact spot where my father stood, I reached out to you and you took my arm and embraced me. You told me that I am a human being worthy of dignity. And then I realised all these years, it wasn't hate I was feeling. It was low self esteem. My father's rejection of me that day broke my heart totally and filled me with insecurities. But that singular act I witnessed in my mind's eye made me feel human again. Now I feel confident enough to face my father (I haven't been home for 10 years). Thank you Ivvy. I feel such deep gratitude to you, and you don't even know what you've done for me. I know we're supposed to be playing a game, but I'm so confused right now. So many emotions running through me, I feel frazzled. Thank you sweet Ivvy for giving me a reason to smile again, that's the only thought that keeps coming to me. Obviously a classy lady like you would never consider me worthy in real life, but somehow I feel a deep connection to you, almost like I've known you all my life.
