Religion / Re: Do You Believe In Witchcraft? by Iwalewa: 2:52am On Feb 04, 2007
The issue of whether whichcraft exists or not has a dual dimension to it we may choose to view witchcraft as an art or a science for example most inventions that have changed the history of mankind for the better such as going to the moon, the industrial revolution, information technology etc have their roots in whichcraft hence pioneers of modern inventions can be regarded as "witches"because they have exercised rigorous mental physical and spiritual efforts to come out with innovations this is where the difference between a "black" witch and a "white" witch suffice while the former uses his own brand of witchcraft for constructive purposes, the latter uses his own for destructive purposes,

its my conviction that this man needs serious counselling and prayers or how can we rationalise this old mans attitude to life at this stage of his life , or what sort of legacy is he bent on leaving for the younger generation, its only a matter of time before he overeaches himself
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Chelsea Will Spank Manchester United by Iwalewa: 4:40am On Nov 19, 2006
Chelsea looks too good to give Man U the expected spanking when they visit Old Trafford next week and there is nothing anyone can do about it as they are claiming victory with an emphatic 2 0 drubbing of the red devils, come to think of it Chelsea looks set to claim the premiership once again

Religion / Re: Do White People Take Christianity As Seriously As We Do? by Iwalewa: 12:15am On Nov 04, 2006
I am so happy that this observation is coming from someone who can be refered to as a "partcipant observer" in London and i must congratulate you my fellow compatriot for just coming to terms with what some of us have been saying all along that "religion" and that is the so called imported religions in Nigeria is just a social movement where some smart alecs feed fat on the ignorance of the people or have you not wondered why inspite of our so called "religiousity" the Nigerian society is still so disorganised and corrupt?
Education / Re: The Grooviest University In Nigeria? by Iwalewa: 11:04pm On Nov 03, 2006
i do not subscribe to d view dat UNILAG is d place to b among Nigerian campuses , havent u heard of The Greatest University in this part of the world and that happens to be the most sought after  and revered university among Nigerian undergraduate and post graduate students , sentiments aparts UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN happens to provide enough latitude for both intellectual and social development of its students anytime and anyday, d exploits of UI graduates attests to these truism, sorry Akokites we know u are striving , but UI is still a PACEMAKER , while UNILAG is a PACETAKER
Education / So Called Privatisation Of Unity Schools by Iwalewa: 11:46pm On Oct 25, 2006
I think the plan of the federal minister of education to reform unity schools is a welcome development that will sanitise the federal ministry of education and also enable it to return to its original role as a policy formulating ministry instead of the present status quo where the ministry as been turned to a contract awarding ministry
