LiteratureRe: Dipo Tepede's Writing Competition: 33,000 Naira Prize by Iwerebor(m): 6:43pm On Jul 12, 2007
How come I lost the interest I never had upon seeing a connection of the Prize money with Club freedom?
Does the mention of money blunt even common sense?
I imagine the winner of this prize IF it happens will be hearing something about making $6,000 with that same prize money. In very plain words, Dipo Torpedo has something up his sleeves, a hidden agenda.

InvestmentRe: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by Iwerebor(m): 1:35pm On Jul 12, 2007
You know, there is some knowledge about stock valuation that if one knew can make one a very rich man ,i.e, how a share is given value.
Why is one more in value and another less in the same sector?
Let's find an answer to this question perhaps it will profit us in a lot of ways.

@Psytarry,
While I find your analysis noteworthy I think you take from it by your delivery, i.e, the Jamaican style rambling you employ.
It made it tedious.

@ All
Anyone hopeful about the performance of Diamond Bank/Fidelity bank/Wema bank in the next three months? Getting an appreciation value of N5 on each in that time will be greatly appreciated. What do you think?

Hi everyone,
I've got some money to commit over a three month period. I'm trying to buy some penny stocks in sectors that have growth potential. I'm looking at these two:
Afroil, Petroleum Marketing sector
Unity bank, Banking sector

My three month clock is ticking fast so I need to act quick.
But I need this: a resource.especially on the web, where I can view the history of the performance of these stocks in the recent past.
Will appreciate anyone kind enough to give me directions. Thanks.

Hi All,
I say we make our posts inclusive. For instance the post by EMMAACHILE on Access bank's data had me staring without understanding, the reason for this is the deluge of acronyms. I'm new here (the forum as well as stock trading), I would like posters to aid understanding of their posts by putting full words of their acronyms in brackets.
While reading EMMAACHILE's Post, acronyms such as PE, PAT & EPS flew completely past my head. Please help!

You are neither of these.
Mass production is rich in numbers but poor in value. I will go for quality anytime.

You have identified an immorality.

6 web sites, 24 blogs and a writing career seems to me like a recipe for abandoned projects.
I think quality not quantity should be the watchword.
LiteratureWhich Is Most Appealing In A Poem?: Pictures, Sound, Message/ Meaning? by Iwerebor(op): 5:20pm On Jul 04, 2007
Sounds, images, meaning all affect the reader in different ways. Which is considered the most gratifying to you as a reader or a writer of poems?

I believe I achieve maximum impact when I write in this order: images, meaning, sound.

I have for instance these lines in my draft:

These ones floated into my head and I grabbed them for their sound effect, I absolutely am not sure what theme to apply them:

With one click
They complete the trick

And these for picture, looks political:
Somewhere,
Oil is flowing
Poverty is following

Somewhere,
Hunger is roaring
A leader is snoring
,
I know this has sound but the picture to me is the strength
ComputersRe: Poor Internet Services By All Nigerian Internet Providers by Iwerebor(m): 4:54pm On Jul 04, 2007
I implicate the "Nigerian factor"
The Nigerian factor seems to always permeate everything Nigerian. Kind of like the stinky fibre unwiling to go down the loo, It always bounces back to say "boo!".
Sorry about the large dose of cynicism, not usual for me and considering that this is a first post for me ( I'm a few minutes old here), I guess I am stocking reasons to leave to where I can really live!
