MY BIRTH STORY

I started feeling funny lower abdominal pain on Friday at about 3am, the pain comes and goes and i felt i had eaten something that does not agree with my system the day before hence the pain. I dozed of when i felt a little better but by 6am the pain became worse and it turned to contractions but in all of this i never believed i was in labour, infact i was yet to do my laundry not to talk of packing my bag as i had 2 more exams to write and was due for mat. leave on the 28th.

Hubby tried to convince me to go to the hospital but i refused and told him it is false labour as i was neither due(my EDD was November 17th) nor feeling pain in the back of my waist, we kept on like that till he finally convinced me to take a hot bath and let us go casually to the hospital to check what was wrong.

By 8am we left and got to the hospital by 8.35 or thereabout with just my card, on coming down from the car i could not move and i refused to be carried so i had to be pushed inside. Was checked and i was 10cm gone already, my saving grace was that my water was still intact, was transferred to the delivery room and they burst my water and asked me to push with the next contraction which i did and my princess arrived without a tear weighing 2.7

Got to the hospital by 8.35 and gave birth by 8.50am.Then began the race for pls we need pad, pampers bla bla bla and none was available
Hubby had to go to a baby shop and bought everything in the list afresh.

MORAL OF MY STORY- PACK YOUR BAGS ON TIME

OMG this is d sweetest BS i'v heard ever and I tap greatly into it. This is how the delivery of my Ejimas will be by the special grace of God, AMEN!!!

BS: i'm gonna try this

On 22nd of October at exactly 40WKS, I had this 'usual' painful contraction that comes at about an hour interval. It was so severe and regular that I wasnt too sure if visiting the hospital was the best option anymore because for some 3weeks already I have had similar labour contraction, and visited the hospital, only to be sent back home with my bag and baggages at 3 different occassions. Same reason -Os closed, Labour not started, yet. :/ (I remembered having leakage of fluid at 38WKS2D, and was admitted for some hours, only to be told again that Os wasnt open, yet!!!!. Really, it became so frustrating, and disappointing that I got so worried during my last few weeks of pregnancy. So I decided to stay off this Nairaland section and every other pregnancy site for some time, cos it seems I have read/known so much and was telling God what should happen next... smh I truly had to let go and patiently hold on till God's perfect timing.

So on 22nd, at about 11:16pm after several contractions, we left home for the hosp. we arrived at 11:36pm. Got examined, and this same Dr wouldnt hesitate to tell me again, that cervix hasnt open up. Well, i wasnt going to believe his report anymore. My faith was much stronger, and I knew it was time to have my baby. So i asked him to admit me, that i wasnt gonna go home.. So I was transferred to the concerned ward.

At 12:30am, the midwife did a quick check on me, and was surprised that I was 4-5cm dilated, already contrary to DoctorB's report! (Sincerely, that Dr. needs deliverance..hehehe. I guess he was tired of my incessant visit to the clinic already. Well, I wouldnt blame him cos he doesnt know how much i cherish this preg after a miscarg, last year. I only wanted to be sure everything was okay..ni o ).

Now, immediately after the midwife gave me the goodnews that i was some 4-5cm dilated, it seems the host of pain neurons in my body system, summoned an emergency meeting. They got re-energized, revitalised, and re-activated... On the bed, and in agony I saw the stars, the heavens...I visited the gate, and back. Hmmm, I dont have the right word to describe the accompanying pain, as the slow breathing technique wouldnt work for me anymore. I just kept calling on that Name -Jesus! 'The Blood of Jesus' You'd think a revival session was going on. The pain was out of this w o r l d. (Not funny how this experience got me hands down, it isnt my first experience, howbeit, it was a preg/bs with a difference.

Last stage of labour began at some minutes to 5am, I got checked, again. Cervix - 7cm dilated. The midwive did some membrane swipe, thereafter, I was augumented for some 30minutes, At 5:30am, I had my baby after 4-5 'pushes' to God's glory. Kai, no more Os is closed.. Na God Win o

Guess who was surprised that I had my baby so soon? #DoctorB!

To all women out there waiting on God for this kinda miracle. May He visit you in due season. May your joy be full, too before the close of year. Thanks for the #mentions and congratulatory posts. NaGodWin

Some things might not apply to you cuz I jst copied what I posted on the ttc thread, I don tire gan.
I have 2 testimonies to share wit u, I would've shared it since bt o was just too lazy to type.
The first one goes lyk this: after our midnight prayers, I laid my head to sleep. I had a dream that I was pregnant and had a small baby bump then I saw a woman with a bigger bump hugging me lyk she was welcoming me. When I woke up, I smiled because my spirit told me that the woman with the bigger bump was a senior colleague from the preggy thread that was welcoming me.
My fruitful sisters pls lets nt joke with our midnight prayers. This is my first time of participating and I got immediate revelation. God is blessing us all with our BFPs, let's all try and tap into the anointing.

The 2nd one goes like this: on Sunday in my church, we held a baby shower for one of our preggy mamas. Our women's fellowship president jst handed d program over to me that I was going to handle d baby shower, see me and my shy self o God gave me the courage to do it and I told some mamas to give her encouraging words and positive declarations for an easy birth which they did. When it was time to give our gifts, i gave her mine and I hugged her and I told her that I tapped into the anointing and that I wanted to experience such a day soonest. I did not evn care if anybody was lookin at me sef.
The sweetest part was that on Monday morning while I was preparing for work, the first message I go on WhatsApp from our fellowship president was that the woman has given birth to a bouncing baby boy her total labour lasted only 1hr 30mins. I called the woman and she said that as we declared that she was going to hav an easy labour, that was exactly how it happened.
I really felt so blessed cuz this is my first time of handling a baby shower and there was an instant positive testimony that followed it.
To God be the Glory, great things He has done.... Hallelujah!!!!

I went to the hospital to register and I did all the normal test and was ask to do scan was still seeing blood and the results came out with HYDATIDAFORM MOLE that I have to do flushing. I have bn crying since cos dis is not what I wanted to hear.
I have committed everything into God's hand.
I am so down and don't evn kw what to do next.

My senior mamas mke una help me thank Baba God o. On Saturday morning, I woke up with my small energy com decide say I wan cook beans cuz dat one na hubby favourite Saturday morning delicacy I com put beans for pressure pot, but as e com dey boil, I notice say the cover no key well. As usual, I com try to shift the cover mke I try key am well. Suddenly, na GBOAAAAAA!!!!! I jst hear, the cover just fly comot with hot water and beans all over the place. I just fly comot com dey shout Blood of Jesus up n down leave Dh and beans for kitchen. I still don't kno how dh and I managed to escape unhurt bt I kno that it was Papa God that saved us.
My God is too faithful to fail. I noticed that the devil has been trying to steal my joy because I have decided that I wasn't going to rant abt ttc anymore but my Jehovah Over do Pass am. I'll keep being my bubbling and cheerful self till I miraculously get my BFP and there is absolutely nothing that d devil can do abt it

i wan't to the hospital to see gynae and he just gave me DICLOMOL for the pain and said it is the fibroid that is making me feel pain
will be starting antenatal tomorrow God welling @ KIZITO Jakunde Ajah area. Please if you kw of any good hospital that i can use kindly assist.(around AJAH axis please)

My LO is a gift from God and nothing will happen to him/her or them self.

Bt I ws battling wt unbelief bcs it's too gd to be true bcs of my age and challenges . In this journey I refused to get tired and God decided to bless me. To other mama's don't be discouraged. Especially mummyEsther by the time I will tell my story u will not hv choice than to keep thanking God.

As other mamas usually say, the God that uses basket to fetch water in order to disgrace the bucket has done it again ooooo despite what our medical report says He keeps showing us that there's nothing too difficult for Him to do by making us keep our home and be joyful mother of children.
