Yoast:

Taking profit from just a single day of full bid after several months of price consolidation? We easily forget that DS/NS were not part of the earlier bull.

People have different entry points and different motives.

WOW... How do you see their services... Cool right?

On this thread lots of people use them. I have other brokers but of course I favour Morgan Capital.

In terms of daily market price list and reports, I have to give it to Investment-One. You don't need to download any pdf to view their colourful market report with clear closing prices and percentage gains/losses. They even improved it late last year after adopting a newer model that didn't look good. I guess their core clients complained and they brought back the old interface and improved it. I only have first bank shares bought at around 3 or 4 naira in 2020 with them cheesy

Morgan Capital won my heart with their iTrade platform and because that's the first broker someone introduced me to when I was trying to start stock market plays. They were charging the lowest fees too; I think they still do but they increased their initial fees by 50%.

Wapic and coronation insurance na the same... CORONATION INSURANCE is their new name NOW

So the link has to be an old one. I couldn't see date in the article.

Wapic closed 85k and can't possibly be a subject of 78k buyout at this time.

I suppose all Brokers have similar requirements; almost same with banks too.

But I'm curious... why are daar and tantalizers receiving attention despite unimpressive results

Oracle said some stocks would produce bad results but be doing 10 10% cheesy

I recall when the likes of Zenith will produce very good results but being beaten in the market.

If you are here and still using Meristem stockbrokers. I wish you luck. I am totally out from the worst stockbrokers that they are.
100%, I am fed up with Meristem Stockbrokers. ✌️

They gave you a blender na. grin Endure small. If they are updating their apps now, it means they are changing. They will come good.

Morgan Capital self needs to have an app.

The idea that what happened to bitcoin will happen to many other cryptos is a dream that may remain a a dream. Not to say trading crypto can't be profitable but investing at intangibles like crypto is always a gamble.

So true.

Some crypto projects also are exactly fraudulent.

WhatsApp won't be bad oooh

Nairaland is irreplaceable, virtually.

One of the most important features that make it stand the test of time, especially for threads like NSEMPA, is the near anonymity - "faceless forum" as we call it. grin

Plus there's almost no moderation. Good for some people to air their logical opinion, bad for people who come to abuse.

WhatsApp is tied to mobile numbers, so poses more privacy risk than other competitors. I think Telegram and discord can try but nairaland has no rival.

I searched for NSEMPA on Telegram and couldn't see, so I created one, with below link. It might work or not. Only created it as alternative for good old NSEMPA.

(If anyone else has one that already has members, I should probably shut this one down)

I would never advise any landlord to allow a tenant to install solar, talk less remove. Too much Incompetence and story telling in our environment.

Existing tenant no chance at all, if you don’t like move out. New tenant let them know before hand that solar on the roof is not allowed.

I won’t even allow a tenant who says he will leave it when he leaves. Nigerians are not honorable people. The same tenant that you bent over backwards will come with one story when it is time to pack out. Or he will remove it without you knowing and start with Nigerians’ favorite phrase…”sorry don’t be annoyed”.

It’s the quality of the installation/uninstallation plus the likely hood of honoring agreements… too many points of failure/damage/stress…...not worth the hassle.

Most Nigerians don't honour agreements nor do they care about it, especially if they are not the ones protected by it. Everyone always has the propensity to take advantage of the other, at every given opportunity!

I'm unfamiliar with Oga Meshpips VAP. However, VWAP is a widely used indicator easily accessible on most charting platforms and software. It's a straightforward calculation that averages prices weighted by volume, typically over a day. VWAP essentially indicates the price level where most of the trading activity occurred, simply an average price. grin grin grin

Oga Meshpips did some recommendations here that worked. He recommended Guinness to me which I sold hastily for liquidity reasons.

I recall he had some bet (no money involved) with RabbiDoracle and did acknowledge defeat when Oracle won.

Shoutout to Oga fxuser too.
