Please you guys should help settle an argument a 12voltage system with an MPPT controller..

Which solar panel is best and efficient, a 12volt panel or 24 voltage panel....

I leave the answer to the elder to judge

With mppt charge controllers, you're always better off with higher voltages on solar side (as long as you don't reach or exceed the CC's rated VOC).

The voltage value on the battery side is of little concern but you should ensure the correct value is selected if that doesn't happen automatically. Fortunately, it often does.

Plug via stabilizer as PHCN could be crazy at times. It is a rule I have maintained for years. D day I did otherwise out of curiosity my charger got fried though was fixed.

This is the problem most guys here face when it comes to grid and their precious inverters.

If you have other protective ways go for it BUT NEVER TRUST PHCN's VOLTAGE.

The sequence is current/voltage limiter, then servo AVR before inverter. Grid voltage is never to be trusted. Also, some relay AVRs are not to be trusted 100%.

I believe you use Morgancapital.

Just login to your A/c, go to Menu and click on NEWS. (the last option under Market)
You can usually surf around all the news for any given month/period, but to get the latest news, click on the small arrow under the month to read news for that day.
You get highlights of any news for the day at the extreme right under DETAILS.

The news for the said cross deal is right there.

Hope this helps.
Regards

Thanks for this info Chief.

Funny enough, I get news from my foreign brokers but never bothered about Nigerian brokers. This feature has been there but I've never bothered to use it.

PS. I am in Transacorp with some tangible units. The good thing is that I am willing to let the stock do what it wants. So fingers crossed.

Why is no one talking about the result and dividend payout?

* Bids increasing.....

Some guys depressed the share price yesterday for a reason best known to them.......today it's looking up again..

GTCO & ZENITH........Honestly, these stocks are grossly undervalued if we comsider some factors......
Imagine a N25 stock that will likely pay btw N2.5 and N2.8 as final dividend?? shocked shocked

I think Lafarge made about 333 kobo. Apparently not 100% payout. They did well though.

This is what is obtainable:

All firms make reinvestment/compounding default except the investor decide otherwise.

Interest is earned daily but reinvested quarterly.
Only Stanbic IBTC MMF is a bit different where reinvestment is randomly done as you earn.
They should reinvest/compound the interest on a daily basis instead of quarterly.

It does by default; so long as you didn't instruct them to pay interest straight to your account.

I use python to track trailing stops. Just need to download d daily price list from morgan at d end of each trading day, place d pdf file in a specific folder and d program will do d rest. Lets me know if stop is crossed or at what price it will be crossed.

U can also do that in excel, of course you have to manually add new row with d day's closing price and drag down d formula.

Alternatively, u can try d Instrument alert on investing . com (screenshot)

I think GTCO still has some more, but comparatively their might be better opportunities at dis point, thouh d 25% move gives d choice to ride along with a trailing stop.

With a 10% trail stop worst case is he ends up with 12.5% gain overall which is not very bad. If price moves upwards another 10%, then he is sure of 23.8% and so on...

Is Morgan Capital giving you this order type? Things our dear NGX needs to improve on.

You can still compound your gains from SUKUK V

If you already invested or wish to invest in Sukuk V and you want to compound your interest
ie you wish your interest to yield more interest, then register for the Coral money market fund CMMF managed by FSDH. That means as you get your Sukuk rent, invest it in CMMF, and with the reinvestment of dividend option of CMMF, you can compound your gains as long as you want.

Click on the link on my signature to register. It's free.

I hope the compounding is done by default... Or does one need to authorize it separately?

Has anyone successfully used the Morgan Capital's mandate button to place fresh orders that appear during market hours?

Maybe I'm missing something but I have tried many times unsuccessfully to place time based orders through their mandate button and none has been successfully placed to the order screen during market time.

Please, I need recommendations please, I just need something to power my laptop and phone for up to eight hours. Preferably one that charges with solar exclusively because where I am now has no electricity for now.

I am very limited on budget, say 50-70k. I have been thinking if going for solar is just the best or just getting a generator. Please help.

Buy small gen and manage for now. Since you have no grid supply in your place, solar generator won't help you too. Except if you can raise your budget.

It's no so hard to be transparent. They just chose not to this time. Maybe they got tired of people asking why it doesn't tally or they have a separate website where they disclose it.

If it doesn't tally, then there is a foul play. Either that or people don't get the calculation correctly.

Maybe there is another website. Or a section of their website.

No, they hardly display their daily rates these days. It was on the website before. You could view from one of the options when you log in to own page but after some few modifications in recent times, it has disappeared. I don't if it is deliberate anyway...

Transparency is not a Nigerian. Anyway, they are trying in some other ways.

You could redeem either through their online internet access or mutual fund space of their Stanbic IBTC (7 in 1) mobile app. In both, you will need first of all set up your security question and answer before you can redeem online.

Okay. Thanks. I already set up the Secret Q&A. They talked about signing a form and maybe going to their banks. I don't have time for those, so they did well by using the secret question for it.

Do you see their daily rates on the app? I don't see that and also not on their website.
Investment / Re: Mutual Funds by IYGEAL(m): 9:16pm On Nov 15, 2022

Nooo Stanbic IBTC is the best when it comes to withrawal. Self service withdrawal from their app especially if it's not more than the maximum of 2.5 M required through the app. Once you redeem on the app before 12 pm you are sure of getting it that same day.

Their only down side which also very bad is their unresponsive customer service and rates that are getting lower than the other now...

I saw on their portal, something in the line of signing up for the online/mobile app withdrawal. Did you do that or can one just click on the redeem on the app and forge ahead with withdrawal?

seems gtfund mmf is becoming something else. If i did not call them on phone they will not put interest in my account

They should incorporate the MMF to GTWorld app. Stanbic have theirs in their bank app.

Account statement sent to me by FSDH has the interest but GT has not. In this tech world, these things shouldn't be happening.
