Mprex:guys (plural) + date, sleep & flirt (plural) Don't mind the ITKS, u hv delivered ur massage. |
100Cents:Yesooo, it only happened to me during university days, almost all the girls I dated refuse to take money from me that I stopped giving them money, rather I surprise them with gifts. Those girls really spoilt me with their caring and wanted nothing in return. But now the reverse is the case, any girl that comes to me comes with the intention of what she will get from me(expecially the ones I am interested on). I keep wondering whether those girls/ladies do exist again. |
Karleb:That's exactly my thought because you couldn't identify it as clause, as would be done by a professional. You assertion is correct though. |
Bibol:You are 100% correct |
"My boss is not on seat", it may be an English expression but Nigerian made. "insultive" another Nigerian made word, it is not an English word. |
Blebleswag:yes, it is just once in a life-time, mostly enjoyed at the early stage. |

48 views no comment, nairaland is running short of graduates and professionals, probably it could be the cause of multiple post with grammatical errors |
"LIKE SERIOUSLY" is an expression that is popularly used by some nairalanders, actresses, students etc. frankly speaking guys I can't make anything out of it. So how correct is it? |
This is why everybody wants to go into politics, the solution to the problem of Nigeria is not far to seek. let them cut down all these overwhelming allowances and make political offices less attractive financially. |
Sunshine_luv: Theodore Orji of Abia state...............Pls, do you know the meaning of "awful"?, is like you are part of the family, who are currently benefiting from him. In case you have forgotten, he can be best described as FAILED-GOVERNOR |
Lagos State Govt has been finally spurred into action, prior to Mr president's alert for intervention. Good for them. |

“I’VE had enough!” Furious first lady Michelle Obama hurled those fighting words at her husband after he publicly humiliated her by flirting with a leggy blonde foreign leader at South African icon Nelson Mandela’s memorial service, sources say. In a bombshell world exclusive, The ENQUIRER has learned that in the wake of the mortifying incident, President Barack Obama and his wife are now sleeping in separate White House bedrooms. Sources say an enraged Michelle is also preparing to boot her hubby of 21 years out of their ritzy Chicago home – and seriously discussing divorce. “The smart money says the marriage is doomed,” said a close source. “Barack and Michelle have had a rocky go for years and mainly stayed together for their daughters and his political career. “But now Michelle is mad AS hell. She feels violated in front of the whole world, and screamed at him, ‘I’ve had enough!’ “She’s met with divorce lawyers and told Barack that she wants a life apart from him.” An Oval Office insider added: “Michelle will stay in the White House for the rest of Barack’s term for appearances’ sake, but she made it clear they’ll be leading separate lives. “She’s moving into one of the vacant bedrooms in the family’s private living quarters, and she’s preparing to move his clothes and personal things out of their million-dollar house in Chicago.” Sources say Michelle, 49, hit the roof after her lusty hubby was photographed brazenly flirting with Denmark’s dishy female prime minister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, during the service for former South African president Mandela. Obama, 52, laughed and whispered with the 46-year-old Danish beauty throughout the solemn ceremony, at one point cavalierly caressing her shoulder. The two also playfully snapped a “selfie” photograph together while Michelle shot daggers at them. The Danish press has dubbed Thorning-Schmidt “Gucci Helle” for her love of designer clothes. While she lives in Copenhagen, her husband resides in Davos, Switzerland, and the couple’s accountant reportedly said that her husband was “gay or maybe bisexual.” Obama’s outrageous antics with her made him the butt of international ridicule, with American media outlets going on the attack. “New York Post” columnist Andrea Peyser blasted: “(Mandela) was a man who Obama compared at the memorial to Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King. And here was the president, publicly behaving as if he was plotting his next hook-up. It was unseemly. “…Not to be outdone by the president’s bad behavior, the Danish hellcat hiked up her skirt to expose long Scandinavian legs covered by nothing more substantial than sheer black stockings.” Famed body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass, who evaluated the photographs at The ENQUIRER’s request, was appalled at the president’s behavior. “This was clearly extremely humiliating for the first lady,” Dr. Glass told The ENQUIRER. “The president effectively ignored her and acted like he and the Danish prime minister were the only two people around. And he did this with the whole world watching. “The photos show Michelle going through a series of emotions, ranging from shock to anger and extreme jealousy. I think there are many changes occurring in their relationship.” The president’s staff was also quick to criticize his horn-dog conduct, sources say. “Barack already had enough headaches with his public approval rating plummeting after the disastrous rollout of his ‘Obamacare’ health plan. Now he’s walked smack into the worst marital crisis of his life,” said the White House insider. “Behind the scenes, his advisers chewed him out, saying the photographic images of his frat-boy hijinks will haunt him forever. “On top of that, women voters have bombarded the White House with letters, phone calls and emails expressing sympathy for the first lady and anger at the president. “Even Obama’s top female advisers and friends like Valerie Jarrett were disappointed with him.” Sadly for Michelle, the spectacle in South Africa wasn’t the first time the charmer-in-chief has crossed the line with other women. But the couple’s fight over his behavior with the sexy Danish leader was the worst ever, “and they’ve had some doozies,” said the White House insider. “Rather than unloading on him in South Africa, where their privacy was not guaranteed, or on Air Force One among other high-ranking dignitaries, including George and Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton, Michelle reserved her fury until they were back in their private quarters in the White House. Then she went ballistic behind closed doors. “Barack has humiliated Michelle before, but this incident was played out on the world stage. Practically everybody on the planet saw what he did and realized that the president has absolutely no respect for his wife.” Meanwhile, The ENQUIRER has learned the first couple plans to live nearly 5,000 miles apart when their days at the White House come to an end. Obama reportedly plans to settle in his native Hawaii, where his presidential library and political center will be located. Sources say he’ll live with his longtime pal Bobby Titcomb, who was busted for soliciting a prostitute in 2011. Michelle will remain in Washington, D.C., until the couple’s youngest daughter Sasha, 12, finishes high school. Daughter Malia, 15, is a high school sophomore. For now, Michelle is gearing up for a nasty divorce battle. But sources say she’ll most likely wait to slap Barack with divorce papers until after he leaves the Oval Office, when he’ll likely earn more than $30 million in book deals and bank $65 million in appearance fees. “Now that Barack has embarrassed Michelle in front of the world, he’s going to pay a big, big price,” said the insider. “Michelle has said she wants a huge chunk of his net worth. “This divorce is going to cost him a fortune.” http://www.nationalenquirer.com/celebrity/world-exclusive-obama-marriage-explodes |
The Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, has submitted himself to the National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, for probe over criminal allegations against him by former president, Olusegun Obasanjo. Acting on the instruction of the president, the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke, forwarded Chief Obasanjo’s letter to the commission for investigation into the alleged rights violations contained in the letter. The AGF, in a memo dated December 23 and addressed to the Executive Secretary of the NHRC, Professor Bem Angwe, requested the commission to investigate the allegations bordering on human rights violations contained on page 9-10 of the letter. President Goodluck Jonathan, who denied the allegations in his response, is specifically inviting the rights commission to unravel the truth in the allegation that his government had begun training over 1,000 snipers to terminate his political opponents. http://nigeriamasterweb.com/paperfrmes.html |

To be frank here, this is just a mere political game to draw attention to his importance and for some of his beneficiaries to start clamoring for his 2nd tenure. Oshemo did it before his 2nd tenure so Okorocha is not exceptional. Politics is just a game. |
YES it is possible to lose weight, and nothing can be too little or too much.Strategies such as making a commitment and being focused take a lot of mental and physical energy. One fact anyone attempting to lose weight has to know first and foremost is that no one else can make you lose weight. You need to undertake diet and exercise changes to please yourself. It is also vital to adopt habits for slimming down without a complicated diet plan. Here are great tips to make you lose weight without necessarily going on a diet. Slow eaters eat less Savour each bite and make it last.Partake of smaller portions from which you eat slowly rather than wolfing your food down in a hurry which may signal overeating. Set a timer for 20 minutes and reinvent yourself as a slow eater. This is one of the top habits for slimming without diet plan. Sleep more, weigh less Sleeping an extra hour a night could help a person drop eight kilos a year. When sleep replaces idle activities you can effortlessly cut calories by 6 percent. Results would vary for each person, but sleep may help in another way, too. There’s evidence that getting too little sleep revs up your appetite, Eat more vegetables Serve three vegetables instead of just one, and you’ll eat more without really trying. Greater variety tricks people into eating more food and eating more fruits and vegetables is a great way to lose weight. The high fibre and water content fills you up with fewer calories. Cook them without added fat. And season with lemon juice and herbs rather than drowning their goodness in high-fat sauces or dressings. Soups drop weight Add a broth-based soup to your day and you’ll fill up on fewer calories. Soup’s especially handy at the beginning of a meal because it slows your eating and curbs your appetite. Start with a low-sodium broth or canned soup, add fresh or frozen vegetables and simmer. Beware of creamy soups, which can be high in fat and calories. Go for whole grains Whole grains such as brown rice, barley, oats, and whole wheat also belong in your stealthy weight loss strategy. They help fill you up with fewer calories and may improve your cholesterol profile, too. Whole grains are now in many products including waffles, pizza crust, muffins, pasta, and soft “white” whole-wheat bread. Cut back on sugar Sugar is the No.1 enemy of every weight loss strategy. Replace one sugary or soft drink with water or a zero- calorie cola and you’ll avoid about 10 teaspoons of sugar. Add lemon, mint or frozen strawberries for flavour and fun. The liquid sugar in soft drink appears to bypass the body’s normal fullness cues. Drink from a tall, thin glass Use a tall, skinny glass instead of a short, wide tumbler to cut liquid calories — and your weight — without dieting. You’ll drink 25-30 percent less juice, cola, wine, or any other beverage. How can this work? Visual cues can trick you into consuming more or less. People tend to poud more into a short, wide glass—even experienced bartenders. Limit alcohol When an occasion includes alcohol, follow the first drink with a nonalcoholic, low-calorie beverage like sparkling water instead of moving directly to another cocktail, beer, or glass of wine. Alcohol has more calories per gram than carbohydrates or protein. It can also loosen your resolve, leading you to mindlessly inhale chips, nuts, and other foods you’d normally limit. Go for green tea Drinking green tea may also be a good weight loss strategy. Some studies suggest that it can rev up the body’s calorie-burning engine temporarily, possibly through the action of phytochemicals called catechins. At the very least, you’ll get a refreshing drink without tons of calories. Eat at home Eat home-cooked meals at least five days a week. A Consumer Reports survey found this was a top habit of “successful losers.” Cooking may be easier than you think. Shortcut foods can make for quick meals. Catch the ‘Eating Pause’ Most people have a natural “eating pause,” when they drop the fork for a couple of minutes. Watch for this moment and don’t take another bite. Clear your plate and enjoy the conversation. This is the quiet signal that you’re full, but not stuffed. Don’t miss it. Chew strong mint gum Chew sugarless gum with a strong flavor when you’re at risk for a snack attack. Making dinner after work, socializing at a party, watching TV, or surfing the Internet are a few dangerous scenarios for mindless snacking. Gum with a big flavor punch overpowers other foods so they don’t taste good. Shrink your dishes Choose a 10-inch lunch plate instead of a 12-inch dinner plate to automatically eat less. People serve more and eat more food with larger dishes. Shrink your plate or bowl to cut out 100-200 calories a day — and 5-10 kilos in a year.. Go meatless more often Eating vegetarian meals more often is a slimming habit. Vegetarians tend to weigh less than meat eaters. While there are several reasons for this, legumes may play an important role. Bean burgers, lentil soup, and other tasty legume-based foods are simply packed with fiber. Most Americans get only half of this important nutrient, which fills you up with fewer calories www.vanguardngr.com/2013/12/423392/ |
POST UTME is now an indirect means of raising personal fund by some polytechnics and universities. ABSU, NEKEDEPOLY and OKOPOLY are the schools indulged in this senseless exploitation and robbery from South East. It is quite obvious that the soul aim of this exercise [POST UTME] IS to maximize profit, if not why would they sell POST UTME access pin within the rate of #2,700 to #3,000, which after sold another different access pin for checking of result from #1,500 to #2,000. As if that is not enough, admission list that should be made available for students either online or at the school notice board will be accessed with another pin between #1,500 to #2,000. While some schools like UNIZIK collected only #1,000 for POST UTME registration which served for checking of result and admission status. This is part of corruption, these schools are not giving account of this money, we must rise against this exploitation and robbery, they are taken advantage of the poor masses desperate for education. You can still include some other schools involved. |
The Edo chapter of the People’s Democratic Party on Tuesday in Benin launched an empowerment package for widows in the state. Mr Dan Orbih, the state Chairman of the party, said the programme was designed to cushion the effect of Edo government’s “harsh” policies on widows and the people. He said the initiative became necessary because of the actions and decisions of some public officials. The PDP chairman donated N50,000, in addion to N1 million already raised for the programme in the state. The money was presented to the Oredo women leader of the party, Mrs. Pat West Erhabor, for disbursement to more than 50 widows who were present at the event. Erhabor also collected N250,000 on behalf of Mrs Joy Ifijeh, the widow who was reprimanded for trading on walk way by the state governor. Meanwhile, Mr. Henry Omoregie, the Director, Transformation Watch, a non-governmental organisation based in Port-Harcourt, has raised over N2 million for Ifijeh. www.punchng.com/news/edo-pdp-launches-widows-empowerment-programme/ |
