What platforms enable you to trade US penny stocks from Nigeria? yok: |
Hello, I would like to know if you have invested with a Nigerian P2P lending platform, or if you know anyone who has (or currently does). I'm considering investing as an individual lender but I'm concerned about the efficiency and trustworthiness of these platforms. At the moment, I'm thinking about P2Vest and Kiakia. Again, this is about investing as a lender, not seeking a loan. And I am looking for responses *specifically* from people who have either used these (or similar) platforms. I would really appreciate your answer(s). Thank you. |
Try Risevest, if you're looking for competitive returns. Dollar wallet/savings: 8% per annum; basically a high yield dollar savings account. Fixed Income: 10% per annum; low risk. US Real Estate: 12%-15% per annum; medium risk. Managed US Stocks Portfolio: Variable, but high risk. However, significant transaction fees apply for dollar transfers. Here's their website: https://risevest.com/ You can call them on 070022557473 or email them at hello@risevest.com to find out more. Note: I DO NOT WORK FOR THEM (but I have used their platform). This is a suggestion, not investment advice. Please do your due diligence. Afikoo: |
Have you heard about the new Finance Bill recently passed by the Nigerian Senate? If you run a business, you definitely should be interested in it. Here are a number of ways it could impact your business: 1. Banks will now request for TIN before opening new accounts or letting (income-earning) customers run existing ones. 2. The list of non-VAT items will been expanded. 3. Businesses with turnover less than N25 million per-annum don't have to register for VAT. 4. Small businesses don't have to pay Company Income Tax (CIT). 5. Excise duties will be extended for imported goods. 6. No stamp duties for bank transfers of less than N10,000 (this means, for instance, that the N50 charge for PoS transactions of N1000 or more will now only apply for transactions involving N10,000 or more on PoS). Unfortunately, many faith communities have created a culture in which there's an unwillingness to question, to engage the mind, to ascertain truth. With them, it’s as though trying to ask questions about God or of the actions of clergy are tantamount to blaspheming. We are expected to take things just as they are, because “the scriptures say so,” or “the Bishop says so.” The little boy whose many questions about God remain unanswered already has a seed of doubt planted in his heart. The man whose request for the accountability of clergy gets shut down now has a sliver of distrust for his pastor- and maybe other ‘men of God’ –festering within him. When these mature, they may lead to a weaker faith or a total loss of faith. People on the outside of faith communities can (and do) see through this phoniness. And they laugh at it. It’s just one more excuse for not practicing the faith that they can cling on to. In a nutshell, this fear of engaging the mind in the practice of the faith has led to the multiplication of heresies; believers having a weakened, loose, incoherent faith; and some abandoning faith or not considering it as an option. But faith is not illogical (regardless of what you've been told). We can, and should seek answers to the questions raised in our hearts and minds. And God is not against this. I've tackled this issue in my latest article for The Late Wire: http://thelatewire.com/2019/11/24/no-faith-is-not-illogical/ |
There's a lot of evidence that quality product packaging can boost consumers' interest in the product on which it's used. But how do you come up with packaging that's right for your product and target market? Here are three simple and straightforward steps do doing this: 1. Know what factors add up to making a great wrap. These include the design, material, suitability for the particular product, your target market's tastes, and what's been known to work in your industry. 2. Take these factors together, and come up with something that's at their intersection. 3. Keep reinventing your pack as you go along. Of course, this is a brief summary. The points laid out here are expanded upon in the article linked below. Here's a link to the article: https://connectnigeria.com/articles/2019/10/business-growth-tip-how-to-package-your-products-to-increase-sales/ |
