I drive toyota corolla 2003. For about 8 months now when I park my car overnight, kick starting it in the morning makes it crank dry sound like there is no oil in the engine, and this cranky sound last for just a second before the sound normalizes. Now its begining to crank not only in the morning, but any time i park it for about 5 hours.

What could be the cause of this my people pls?

Dru23, I dont want to use mobil one again, I just need another synthetic oil that is affordable with minimum market fakes that will not spoil my engine.

You're better off using the semi synthetic made my mobil, that generic nonsense you buy could be anything, definitely not a good lubricant for your engine. If you can't afford the synthetic, go for the semi synthetic and buy it at any Mobil gas station, not from any store on the streets.

Those mobil1 oil that you buy for anything below 68k per gallon are fake!

Our brothers will sell them to you with straight faces telling you that they are okay, no, they feel those kegs with any shit they could lay their hands on then boom your engine get fried.

If you are using any car that requires been serviced with fully synthetic oil, just go to get your authentic oil from reputable Mobil or Total outlets. They may be expensive though but getting another engine or regular visits to Kazeem shop will be far more expensive.

Thank you much, but I cant afford that real mobil 1, they call it 82k, anyone you can recommend that has limited fakes, yet very good synthetic oil?

I have been using mobil 1, 5w-30 (the cheaper one sold at 27k) on my Toyota corolla, but recently when a mechanic opened my engine, I noticed that debris were forming.

I am skeptical of continued usage. Someone recommended mobil 2000 5w-30 for me as a substitute.

What do you guys think? Is it better than this generic mobil 1, or can you recommend a better one with minimum market fakes for me?

Pls I have a problem and I need your help.
I bought a samsung galaxy S21 5G last week and since I inserted Sim, it keeps popping up "registering the device with the network" which it will definitely fail after few minutes.

Although I can call and browse with this issue is limiting the efficiency of the phone.

Pls I need your help, how can I resolve this issue on my phone?

I bought a samsung galaxy S21 5G phone last week, but all I keep seeing is a pop-up saying "registering the device with the network", after loading for few minutes, it will show "activation incomplete" (pics attached).

I have tried rebooting the phone, re-inserting the Sim, etc, but it keeps popping up at intervals

NOTE: I can make and receive calls, messages and use browse too. But I feel the incomplete registration is limiting the efficiency of the phone.

Pls help me if you know how to solve this issue.

It has always been like that from when I bought it 5 years ago, and it had no issue

I diagnosed code P0125 as shown above on my first msg sir

If you drive the car long enough, maybe 15 minutes on the highway, and plug the scan tool, your coolant temperature should be reading about 190.

After driving a while is your fan running? that switch controls the fan

If your sensor is covered with rust and it is interfering with reading, or bad wiring.

Solution is to drive and when the car is hot and fan is running you use a thermostat to confirm the temperature is same as the reading of the engine coolant

When the temperature is hot, the fan starts and stops when it deems fit.

My OBD11 showed that the temperature is up to 190 after warming it for a while and the temperature indicated at the instrument cluster shows the temp rising to half of the measurement in less than 15mins of warming it sir

What's the idle rpm on at park,and what's it reading on neutral. Is it on 1500rpm at idle,I mean the slow,is it high or below 1k rpm at idle

At neutral and at park, the RMP is below one, and is steady, not fluctuating sir

I drive a corolla 2004 model.
I had a misfire problem earlier which I later resolve it by servicing the fuel line altogether and it was resolved.
After that, my vehicle started having more power than it used to which I thought was a good sign, only for trouble code P0125 (insufficient coolant temperature for close loop fuel control) appeared.

I have tested my ECT sensor alias cold switch, confirm that my thermostat is still working, I don't know how to test the O2 sensor, the electricians at my location are not digitally inclined.

This has decreased my fuel economy by over 30%. The quantity of fuel that takes me for 100 miles distance is now taking me for 70 miles.

Pls gurus in the house, I need your help, wat else can I do to this car in this cheap fuel era, who knows wat trigger this code in a corolla? Help me pls.

Sorry pals, I left the car for two months and traveled, hence my late reply.

I took the car to a fuel line specialized mechanic, he serviced the nozzles, plugs, air flow sensor etc, and
BOOM! The vehicle was better than before the issue started.

But after days, a code came up (P0125, insufficient coolant temperature for close loop fuel control)
mechanics here are not digital and they don't really understand wat to do, I have tried many things like changing the cold switch, checking my thermostat, but to no avail

I don't know how to test if the 02 sensor is working correctly.

That is why I am here to humbly ask for the help of the specialist in this forum, pls what else can I do, help me because it has decreased my fuel economy for about 40%.

And the vehicle has more throttle power on movent than before any of these problem started, if this will be of any help.

This might need someone with real diagnostics skills fo figure out. Your 2003 Corolla uses drive by cable throttle body. When is it misfiring on idle, or when moving down the road or both?

Since you said the car was working fine before things went south all of a sudden, I will be suspecting that something failed, something that has close relationship with fuel metering.
I would be suspecting a leaking fuel injector or a failed idle air control valve. It could be a lot of things but let's start with the simple stuff first

Remote assistance is possible only to an extent, if you're lucky, we might get to the root cause of the problem.

Revert soon while I'm free let's see how we can tackle this.

The first few days the problem started, it jerks on idling when i kick the engine in the morning, but after few days, the jerking stoped on idling and was now jerking on my first drive of the day, especially when I load it with A/C when driving, if I throttle down, it will stall and vibrate instead of responding, then pick and drop and pick.

But it will stop the jerking altogether after driving a while for the day and becomes normal for the rest of the day.

I have done as stated, I bought Visa fuel injector cleaner and poured it inside a full tank, fired it for 40mins on a highway, then reaching where I went, I fired back again.

The next morning, when I came to test drive it, the problem still persisted

My gurus, Is there any other recommendation in the house pls,

Is there anyone who has experienced this problem before, I need your expert advice pls.

Your fuel pump might still be good, but it’s clogged up with dirt and not pumping enough fuel, that’s why you’re experiencing stalling. Buy the fuel injector cleaner from a filling station and pour into a full tank, then fire the car on the expressway.
Also, check your air filter and change it if it’s dirty to allow air flow freely in and out of your engine. Do these and see the difference.

Most likely the filling station where you bought fuel sold bad fuel.
Get fuel injector cleaner from a genuine filling station and pour into your fuel tank and fire the car on the highway for an hour and see if it will cleanse your fuel pump, injectors

I have driven all the fuel to the last meter hand and bought a full tank again, but to no avail.

It's possibly a fuel fuel pump problem. You'll need to change your pump

A mechanic tested the pump and said that it's still good, I don't know how true that is, although the car work perfectly after being driven for some time

I wonder how you guys just start doing trail and error instead of scanning the car for error codes.

I took it for test, I think the guy cud not even see the main problem, but he scammed my 5k and said that I shud go and service the strainer cuz it shows strainer is dirty, after that I shud drive the fuel till it finishes completely and go to a certain filling station he recommended that has the best fuel and buy fuel from there, which I did all that, but the problem persist.

I own a Corolla 2003 model, I take care of it very well cuz it's my only car,

I went to fuel at a station close to my house before I parked on an evening I return from work, only to start my vehicle that always has a smooth sound the next morning to hear it jerk seriously.

It cleared overtime from jerking at stationary, only to jerk when I engage the gear to move, and also jerks and stalls on motion when I drive in the morning,

It doesn't respond promptly to truttling , when you throttle, it stalls, pick and drop,
And when I engage a/c, it gets worse.

Mechanics have services nuzzles, injector and injector pipes, fuel pump strainer has been washed, (even though it was not dirty) plugs has been cleaned, but the problem still persist.

Pls I need help expert in the house, wat more shall I do?? wat could be wrong with my vehicle cuz it's giving me sleepless night??
