eric joycs the ex UK politician and soldier, who rencently send talk about pmb health ,ask nigeria to check their wardrobes , read the massage below. Last month, this website reported that President Buhari of Nigeria was missing in London, presumed very ill or perhaps even no longer medically alive. We did this because we were provided with information by an inside source that the true condition of the president was being concealed in order to enable jockeying for position to go on behind the scenes. The Nigerian media reported many government sources and some private individuals rubbishing the notion. After a while, ‘presidency’ sources said Mr Buhari would be ‘home on 11 June’. Now, over the weekend, the same papers reported the same sources saying the president would not, after all, be home. So far, in spite of the tripe put about by the presidency and the unquestioning Nigerian media, there has been no sight nor sound of the president for a very long time. There have been a few images apparently of him recuperating, but many have suggested that these images are not verifiable – they contain no reference to when they were taken. Some look cut-and-pasted; others are taken from odd angles where he is not properly visible; in others he is clearly attending a military event back in Nigeria. It feels like a con-trick. Meanwhile, although newspaper reports refers to doctors, no doctors have been prepared to speak directly to the media or people to explain what the president’s condition is. And of course the presidency refuses to divulge any details at all. Generally speaking, people expect to hear important health information from a doctor – not just a PR guy with a good haircut and a superficial line on every policy position. Nigeria has an extremely capable acting president, of course, but if Mr Buhari is declared dead or permanently incapacitated then it will be the second time in succession that a Northern Muslim president has died and been replaced by his Southern Christian deputy. This is a challenge in a country whose democracy is based upon a complex balance of different regional and religious interests. However, it is a challenge Nigeria is most certainly up to given the great success which was the peaceful handing over of power after the last election. And so, a top tip for Nigerians. Insist that, like most democracies, it is a strict requirement of being president that your people know exactly what your physical condition is at all times. This practice is not historically confined to democracies, of course. Kings of old were routinely watched in their bedchambers; Queens were watched as they gave birth to heirs. This was all to ensure that things were as they seemed. Requiring a president to show he is capable of running his country, and is definitely not dead, is a simple and practical extension of this. For now, with no sight nor sound of the president and no proof even of life for some time, it seems that in a bid to manage the succession the presidency may be lying to the public about the presidents health or even life, and making Nigeria’s democratic status a mockery into the bargain. The Nigerian media seems to be unconcerned about all of this; unconcerned that he may be dead; unconcerned that if he is alive then he may be too ill to carry on. In the absence of serious newspaper and TV media, then, it is left to social media to do the job. So here we are. We recommend that every Nigerian check their own wardrobes for Mr Buhari, and perhaps ask their children if they have any ideas. If you do this, you will have looked harder for him than the Nigerian media. http://www.biafrainsider.com/2017/06/nigerias-president-still-missing-in.html |
I am Umaru Dikko Haruna from Katsina, Northern Nigeria. With tears and heartbreak that I'm typing this letter to the ibos, because 90% of my friends are ibos and I live my life in the mist of ibos which I enjoyed to its fullest. The ibos are most friendly, peaceful, loving, accomodating, caring, God fearing and most of all industrious people and that makes them economically viable is Nigeria. The blood shading Fulanis are hear 2 slaughter u again and if u believe u are more brave than them, then Its time 2 unite yourselves as one Igbo blood and fight (armless) a just and intelligent fight. It's time to love yourselves. Time to match peacefully to achieve Freedom. Time to pray together to achieve a common goal. Arewa youths has ordered you to leave the north peacefully b4 October 1st and it's not a joke. prepare yourselves ahead of this deadline because my people have concluded in their meeting before using Arewa youth forum as a channel for the broadcast. The Nigeria gov't cannot protect you when they come with these planned violent attack. If u ask yourselves this few questions: 1.why was the broadcast made in Kaduna and not in any other northern state? 2.Why the crises in southern Kaduna focuses on killing Christians? 3. Why is Kaduna state Governor fighting a general Oversea of Omega fire ministry? 4. Has anyone signatory to the statement been arrested as ordered by Gov. El-Rufai? 5. What has Olusegun Obasanjo, IBB, Gowon, Buhari, Soyinka and the likes said about this quit notice? 6. What action has South/Eastern Governors taken to address this issue for national interest? 7. Why has Deputy senate president been intimidated as the eye of the Ibo people? 8. Why do the bill to establish south East development commission failed in the lower chamber of the national assembly? 9. Do your asset in northern Nigeria worth your life and that of your family? 10. Why do this government not having any Ibo man as a service chief? 11. Why do Nnamdi Kanu and Ipob keep agitating for Biafra freedom? Or u think the young man is insane? It's time to go back home, support your agitation for freedom nd develop your places. The government is for the North and west and they are their brothers keepers. Iam calling on all Igbos in the northern Nigeria to prepare and go home, Biafra if achieved will be better than Dubai, South Africa, Uruguay etc in less than 5yrs because of your industrial skills. The Hausas are neither your friend nor your brothers. To kill is their work nd u've always been their target. You have your homes nd shall do better in your various places in Biafra land leaving Northern/western Nigeria to sink. This is what your brother Ojukwu saw in 1960's and call for secession. I am from the north (a muslim) and am not suppose to say this but for God's sake the bloodshed will be much if u dont act fast nd this time ibos will suffer more. My people have concluded and after the Ramadan fast you shall see it coming bite by bite. I thank Almighty Allah that a notice was given just as landlords give notice to his tenant before taken actions, act fast. I LOVE you people so much and wish u achieve Biafra urgently Insha Allah. Share this piece as u recieve to your brothers in the north. God bless Biafra. http://www.biafrainsider.com/2017/06/hausa-man-send-letter-to-biafrans.html?m=1 |
Sen. Chuck Schumer on Sunday invited President Trump to testify before Congress, taking the president up on his statement that he’s “100 percent” willing to speak under oath about his interactions with fired FBI Director James Comey. “I’d like to invite the president to testify before the Senate,” the top Senate Democrat said on CBS News’ “Face the Nation.” Schumer, D-N.Y., acknowledged he and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., would have to confer with special counsel Robert Mueller, but insisted such testimony could be done in a “dignified” way. Schumer suggested that testifying could help clear the “cloud” hanging over the administration with regard to the Russia probe. It’s unclear whether McConnell would agree to seeking such testimony, and whether Trump would grant it. During the Friday press conference where Trump said he’d be willing to speak under oath, the president said only that he would be “glad” to speak with Mueller. A public Senate hearing would be an entirely different spectacle – taking the drama surrounding Comey’s intelligence committee testimony last week to a new level. While some GOP senators have indicated they could have questions for Trump, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., voiced concern Sunday about the matter becoming a “circus.” “I think it’s inappropriate for the president to testify publicly,” Graham said on “Face the Nation.” “If you want to come to the judiciary committee and testify under oath, we’ll put Comey right by you, it’d be the highest rated TV show in the history of the world -- but it’s not good for our democracy.” Trump, in saying Friday that he’d speak under oath, specifically rejected Comey’s claim that the president sought “loyalty” from him when he was FBI director. “I hardly know the man. It doesn’t make sense. No, I didn’t say that,” Trump said. Schumer said Trump should not only testify, but also release any “tapes” of White House conversations if he indeed has them. “He ought to say what he means and if he does, we’ll take him up on each case,” he said. http://www.biafrainsider.com/2017/06/schumer-invites-trump-to-testify-before.html?m=1 |
The world's most expensive footballer is on a pilgrimage to Islam's holiest city as he marks the start of Ramadan. French international Paul Pogba shared a picture of himself in Mecca on Sunday, captioning it the "most beautiful thing I've seen in my life". He also sent a tweet wishing everyone a "happy Ramadan". The 24-year-old became the most expensive footballer in history last summer, after Manchester United paid Juventus a reported £89m ($114m) fee. On Wednesday, he lifted the Europa League cup after Manchester United beat Ajax in the final in Stockholm. Following the end of the season, he shared a short video of himself with a suitcase, saying he was "en route" for his prayers. He is attending Umrah, a non-mandatory Muslim pilgrimage. Pogba is reported to have visited Mecca at least once before, when he performed the Hajj, a journey every healthy adult Muslim who can afford it is supposed to make at least once in their lives. Gold rose to its highest level in seven weeks on Tuesday as weak economic data in the United States reduced expectations of rapid U.S. interest rate rises this year, pushing the dollar to a seven month-low and lowering U.S. bond yields. Investors were also drawn to gold, seen as a safe place to park assets, by uncertainty around Thursday's European Central Bank meeting, an election in Britain and testimony to a Senate committee by former FBI Director James Comey. A weaker dollar makes gold cheaper for holders of other currencies, while lower yields reduce the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding bullion. Interest rate rises, however, push bond yields higher and tend to strengthen the dollar. Spot gold was up 1 percent at $1,292.34 an ounce at 1430 GMT, having earlier touched its highest since April 17 at $1,294.80. U.S. gold futures were 1 percent higher at $1,295 an ounce. "Light positioning and numerous upcoming geopolitical events should continue to underpin demand for the metal," said MKS PAMP trader Sam Laughlin in a note. "Targets extend to the 2017 high around $1,295 and the psychological level of $1,300 above this." Gold has risen more than 6 percent since a low of $1,213.81 in early May as political turmoil in the United States created doubts that President Donald Trump could enact economic stimulus, pushing down the dollar and bond yields. "The uptrend seems intact," said Mitsubishi analyst Jonathan Butler. "It's been helped by the dollar drifting lower and equity markets in the U.S. trading more or less flat." Weak U.S. economic data has left investors less certain of aggressive U.S. interest rate rises this year, Butler said, while bullion traders had already priced in a rate rise this month. European Central Bank policymakers will take a more benign view of the economy on Thursday and will even discuss dropping some of their pledges to ramp up stimulus if needed, sources told Reuters. Butler also said a decision by major gold consumer India to levy a sales tax on gold at 3 percent rather than the expected 5 percent was supporting bullion prices by spurring demand for physical metal. In other precious metals, silver rose 0.9 percent to $17.67 an ounce, its highest level since April 25. Palladium climbed 1.9 percent to $857.30 an ounce, its highest since September 2014 while platinum gained 1.5 percent to $965 an ounce after touching $967.50, the strongest since April 24. Platinum and palladium, mainly used to make auto catalysts that clean exhaust fumes, have rallied despite data showing weaker global auto sales in May, Julius Baer analyst Carsten Menke said in a note. "We see technical rather than fundamental factors behind this (palladium) rally, supporting bullish sentiment in the futures market. We stick to our negative view and short position, expecting prices to realign with the weaker demand backdrop over the coming months http://www.biafrainsider.com/2017/06/gold-surges-to-seven-week-high-on.html |

Pope Francis is to elevate five Roman Catholic prelates from outside Italy and the Vatican to the rank of cardinal, the elite group of churchmen who are his closest advisers and can enter a conclave to choose his successor. The pope, making the surprise announcement during his weekly Sunday address, said the men came from Mali, Spain, Sweden, Laos and El Salvador. The new cardinals were named as Archbishop Jean Zerbo, 73, of Bamako, Mali, Archbishop Juan José Omella, 71, of Barcelona, Spain, Bishop Anders Arborelius, 67, of Stockholm, Bishop Louis-Marie Ling Mangkhanekhoun, 73, of Pakse, Laos, and Bishop Gregorio Rosa Chávez, 74, of San Salvador. The ceremony to elevate them, known as a consistory, would take place on June 28. The fact that none of the five are Italian and none hold Vatican positions underscores Francis’ conviction that the Church is a global institution that should become increasingly less Italian-centric. Naming new cardinals is one of the most significant powers of the papacy, allowing a pontiff to put his stamp on the future of the 1.2 billion-member Roman Catholic Church. Since only cardinals aged under 80 can enter a secret conclave to choose a new pope from their own ranks after Francis dies or resigns, the new members will join the ranks of prelates known as “cardinal electors”. Francis, the former cardinal-archbishop of Buenos Aires, was elected in such a conclave on March 13, 2013 as the first non- European pontiff in 1,300 years. It will be Francis’s fourth consistory and he has used each occasion to show support for the Church where Catholics are in a minority, in this case Sweden, Mali and Laos. The naming of a cardinal for Sweden was significant because Sweden is where the Lutheran World Federation was founded in 1947 and because this year marks the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s Reformation. Francis, who visited Sweden last year, is keen to further Catholic dialogue with Protestant churches. Sweden is also one of the world’s most secular countries and the naming of a cardinal there will boost the morale of the tiny Catholic population. Including the current batch, Francis has named nearly 50 cardinal-electors, or about 40 per cent of the total of 120 allowed by Church law. Francis, like some of his predecessors, bent the rules. With the latest appointments, there will be 121 cardinal electors until February, when one Vatican-based Italian cardinal turns 80. President Donald Trump on Sunday will look to make clear that the United States is not at war with Islam in a major speech here on Sunday, instead defining the battle against terrorist groups as a "battle between good and evil." In a departure from the Islamophobic rhetoric he sometimes deployed on the campaign trail, Trump will speak out against the militant, political ideology of "Islamist extremism," according to excerpts of the speech released by the White House. Trump's expected use of that term -- rather than "radical Islam" -- will send signals in this region that Trump is putting distance between Islam and the ideology that fuels terrorist groups like ISIS. "This is not a battle between different faiths, different sects, or different civilizations," Trump will say, according to the prepared remarks. "This is a battle between barbaric criminals who seek to obliterate human life, and decent people of all religions who seek to protect it. This is a battle between good and evil." Despite the shift in rhetoric, Trump will still argue that Muslim countries share in the responsibility for confronting terrorist groups that claim the mantle of Islam, calling on Muslim countries in the Middle East to bear more of the "burden" in the fight against terrorist groups like ISIS. "We can only overcome this evil if the forces of good are united and strong -- and if everyone in this room does their fair share and fulfills their part of the burden," Trump is expected to say. He will say that Middle Eastern countries "cannot wait for American power," but must instead "decide what kind of future they want for themselves, for their countries, and for their children." The President's speech is expected to help him reset his relationship with the Muslim world after he made a slew of Islamophobic remarks on the campaign trail and called for a ban on Muslims entering the United States during the campaign. Trump has sought to accelerate the fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria and his outreach signals that Trump understands he needs a more constructive relationship with Muslim countries, particularly those in the Middle East, if he hopes to succeed in his stated goal of destroying ISIS and other terrorist groups. THE EX LEADER OF THE NIJA DELTER MILITANT M.E.N.D, ASARI DOKUBO SAYS TODAY ON AN INTERVIEW THAT THIS MONTH MAY IS BIAFRAN MONTH. This month is Biafra month.I have started my tributes to the most resilient and uncelebrated Biafrans.Today I will celebrate three distinguished Biafra gentlemen who rejected the Rivers and South Eastern(later renamed Cross River) states dangled as bait to them on 27 May 1967 and chose Biafra. 1.Matthew Tawo Mbu from Ogoja was Biafra foreign minister from start to finish. 2.Capt Willy Murray-Bruce was the second in command of the Biafra Air Force. This Ijaw man fought to the last breath to defend his country. 3.Ambassador Ignatius Kogbara was Biafra envoy to London. This incredible Ogoni man saw the future but unfortunately his kinsman Ken Saro-Wiwa did not believe him.He was the very last Biafran to surrender. Nigeria will never be able to successfully rewrite the history of this 3 wise men. Next time, I will celebrate the father of Biafra; Biafra provincial administrator of Yenagoa; Mr Frank Opigo. SHABBAT SHALOM....WHO CHANGED YAHWEH'S COMMANDED DAY OF WORSHIP? Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, 1977, page 50 “Question; Why do we observe Sunday Instead of Saturday? Answer: We do observe Sunday Instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church in the council of Laodicea, A.D.336, transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday” Catholic Mirror, September 23, 1893. “The catholic church by virtue of her divine mission changed the day form Saturday to Sunday”. In the historic council of Trent back in the sixteenth century, the Protestants insisted on the use of the bible and bible only. The Catholic Church rejected .they believed that the authority of the bible is influenced by the tradition whereby it (the Church) transferred the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. Dr. H.J. Holtzimann, in his book – Canon and Tradition, he narrated the drama at the council of Trent. “Finally… on the eighteenth of January 1562, all hesitation was set aside: the Archbishop of Roggio made a speech in which he openly declared that tradition stood above scripture. The authority of the church could therefore not be bound to the authority of the scriptures, because the church had changed… the Sabbath into Sunday, not by the command of Christ (Yahshua Ha-Mashiach) but by its own authority.” On May 2nd 1988, Archbishop Robert R.J.M. Zaborowiski, the Prime bishop, Province of North America wrote “We (Catholics) believe the church was wise in making Sunday the Sabbath day… No matter how much Protestants mock or scorn Catholicism, still retain elements of things they simply could not rid themselves of that are essentially catholic in origin and foundation. Sunday is but one of these things…” On October 31, 1517. Martin Luther said, “True Christian pilgrimage is not to Rome, but to the prophets, the Psalms, and the gospels Mrs. E.G, White wrote “As men then reject the institution which God has declared to be the sign of His authority, and honour in it instead that which Rome has chosen as the token of her supremacy, they will thereby accept the sign of allegiance to Rome – the mark of the beast” G.C. p.449 (1888, 1911). “And he shall speak great words against the Most high, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the half a time” Daniel 7:25 Pope Leo the 13th wrote; “We hold upon this earth, (speaking of the pope) the place of God Almighty” – The Great Enclical Letters of Pop.3 Leo the 13th. CATHOLIC NTIONAL, of July 1895 “The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, but he is Jesus Christ himself under the jveil of flesh” Catholic Encyclopedia, volume 12, page 265, “This Judicial authority (the authority of the pope) will even inclhude the power to pardon sin” CONTINUE REAdING WHO http://www.biafrainsider.com/2017/05/who-changed-yahwehs-commanded-day-of.html?m=1 |
THIS IS A PURE AND CLEAR EVIDENCE TO SHOE THAT HAUSA AND YORUBA NEVER WANT ANYTHING GOOD TO COME TO SOUTH EAST BY A FACEBOOK HANDLE -CHIBUNDU WHAT IS THE SIN OF SOUTH EAST? The APC led Federal Government of Nigeria is requesting 6.4 billion dollar Loan from China to build new railways from Lagos to Kano, Lagos to Calabar, Kaduna to Kano and upgrade that of Lagos to Ibadan. But the South East region is conspicuously excluded from the plan which is expected to grow the economy of the benefiting regions. Every Nigerian knows that Aba and Onitsha cities are competing with Lagos in trade and investment in the country, and are even better than Kano, Kaduna or any other state in this regard. Yet, when the government sets a plan to grow the economy, South East is not mentioned. The worst, most dubious and obnoxious aspect of this arrangement is that the ignored and marginalized South East States are gazetted to be part of the loan refunding scheme. And one wonders what atrocity the region has committed to warrant this treatment. Here is the time for all South East Senators and House of Reps members to stand up and be counted. They should make sure that the intended loan does not go through unless South East is captured in the scheme. Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe must be commended for raising the consciousness of ndi Igbos and indeed all Nigerians to this evil before it is completely executed by President Buhari and his cohorts. However, more effort is required to stop the present anti- Igbo administration. Perhaps, it is now time for the so called APC change government in Nigeria to tell the world in clear terms what are the sins of the South East geopolitical zone of the Zoo called country.
