Nnamdi Kanu fingers security agents as IPOB lawyer escapes assassination attempt in Abuja
Lawyer to the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Mr Chukwuemeka Okoroafor, Friday, escaped an assassination attempt in Abuja, according to IPOB source.

IPOB Leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who disclosed this in a press statement he personally signed, condemned the attack, describing it as “war on Biafra”.

The incident according to Kanu, occurred after the lawyer had visited a security facility where some IPOB members arrested at Obigbo Rivers State during the #EndSARS protest were detained in Abuja.
Kanu fingered security agents for the attack alleging that it was a ploy to scare lawyers from taking briefs from IPOB.

The statement read in part: “Following the assassination attempt made in Abuja today on Barrister Chukwuemeka Richard Okoroafor, the IPOB lawyer who has been making frantic efforts to secure freedom for our ladies abducted from Obigbo at the aftermath of the #EndSARS protest and taken to Abuja, I, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the Leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, want to put the world on notice that the Nigeria Government has declared war on Biafra.

“The assassination attempt was in their desperation to frustrate us from securing freedom for these innocent ladies who the uncircumcised and amorous elements in the security agencies have turned into their … slaves.

“Barrister Okoroafor went to the military base in Suleja to confirm that our people are held there including Elvis Ngozi and 109 others.

”On coming out to Suleja- Bida Road, an unmarked white Hilux just crossed and opened fire on him.
“He told me that before leaving the base he discovered that his left back tyre was marked with black paint in the rim. He ran into Suleja Area Command and made a report. This testimony convinced me that the attackers are security agents.

“Security agents attempted to assassinate IPOB lawyer to frighten other lawyers from standing in for IPOB members.

”The leadership of IPOB has come to realize that Nigeria has decided to engage IPOB in war.
“The whole world must take note of this barbaric attack against innocent Barrister Chukwuemeka Richard Okoroafor, a lawyer who is doing his professional job.

“Since they have taken it upon themselves to assassinate IPOB lawyers and to stop IPOB from challenging them with truth, they will soon reap the fruit of their evil seed.”

Kanu demanded the immediate release of all Biafran ladies in security cells, vowing that no amount of intimidation will make him give up the agitation for Biafra. "We, therefore, demand the immediate release of all our ladies in their custody.

“May we reiterate that no amount of intimidation can make us give up the agitation for the restoration of Biafra. We are resolved to actualise this divine mandate in the shortest possible time.”

The factional leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo-led, Chidi Ibeh, has disclosed that it would back IPOB Eastern Security network and other Indigenous security outfits to halt any form of criminalities in the SouthEast region.

Ibeh, in a statement by Kalu Mkpa, a media aide to the factions Secretary-General, noted that the leadership of the body has moved to bring all stakeholders in Igbo land, including Southeast Governors, Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) and youths on the same page in order to protect the territorial integrity of Igbo nation against herdsman and extremists invasion.

DAILY POST recalls that Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, had launched the Eastern Security Network, ESN.

The IPOB leader had said ESN was formed to protect the Southeast from marauding Fulani herdsmen and other criminal elements.

Kanu also disclosed that ESN was not different from Amotekun in the Southwest and Miyetti Allah in the North.

But, according to Ibeh’s group in a statement on Sunday, ”whether it is called, Eastern Security Network of IPOB or the proposed joint security outfit by Southeast Governors or Ogbunigwe security forces, we will ensure that external invasions from outside will be stopped without further delay.

On the economic development of Igbo land, Ibeh said it would assist in the full realization of “Enyimba Economic City” Aba, the revamp of Enugu coal mine, resuscitation of Port Harcourt-Maiduguri railways with rail links and connections with all Igbo state capitals and commercial cities especially Onitsha-Owerri-Aba link.

“The new leadership lauds President Muhammadu Buhari’s developmental strides in Southeast especially upgrading of Akanu Ibiam international airport Enugu and approval of Ebonyi State international airport, the reopening of Onitsha dry seaport after 47 years and establishment of another seaport in Akwaete in Ukwa west 15km to Atlantic ocean, the new leadership demand from President Muhammadu Buhari an additional state for the southeast”.

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said it won’t support a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction.

IPOB, in a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, alleged that all the people being prepared for the position are stooges that will be used against the interest of Ndigbo, Biafrans and the group.

Powerful added that the people at the forefront of the agitation were people who openly worked against the late Dr Alex Ekwueme at the Jos Peoples Democratic Party convention for the candidature of the President of Nigeria under the PDP in 1999.

He said what such people did to the late Ekwueme was similarly done by their likes to Peter Obi, in 2019 when he contested with Alhaji Abubakar Atiku as his running mate, alleging that they conspired and did not support or campaign for Obi despite being in the same political party, PDP, with him.

The statement read, “We cannot support any person that will kill us; that will mean the end of Biafra emancipation as we know. It is still fresh in our minds what transpired at Jos PDP convention when the the late Dr Alex Ekwueme contested for the candidature of the President of Nigeria under the PDP in 1999.

“Then the likes of Jim Nwobodo, Orji Uzo Kalu and virtually every other Igbo delegate at that convention voted against him. These Igbo men sabotaged Igbo presidency then, what has changed since 1999 that will make them come out now to shamefully clamour for the same Igbo presidency they publicly rejected in 1999?

“Similarly, when Mr Peter Obi in 2019 was contesting as running mate to Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, Governor Dave Umahi and his co-travellers in conspiratory business did not support or campaign for him despite being in the same political party - PDP.

“We are surprised that these people shouting President of Igbo extraction today but sabotaged their own people yesterday think we have forgotten; they also think others will support them when it is their turn.

“Besides, if these myopic and self-centred fellows think producing the President of Nigeria will solve the problem of Ndigbo: when Goodluck Jonathan, an Ijaw man from South-South was Nigeria’s President for six years, what did he do for the East in general and Ijaw people in particular?

“The same northern oligarchy that did not allow him to operate freely will still not allow any stooge they may eventually appoint from Igboland to succeed. So, it makes no sense clamouring for what won’t proffer any solution to our problems.

“The few major roads built in South-East and South-South were done, not by an Igbo man, yet none of these traitors masquerading as Igbo leaders today has been able to compel their slave masters to rehabilitate them. Most of these self-acclaimed Igbo and Old Eastern region leaders are caliphate bred traitors and we cannot trust them.”

The leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has warned the military authorities, the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies against searching for his Eastern Security Network.

Kanu taunted the security agencies and their personnel, asking them to "write their will" before the search.

The IPOB leader, who launched the ESN in the second week of December 2020, said the network was created to ensure the South-East region's security and prevent terrorists, bandits, and other invaders from harassing the people of the region.

Kanu stated these in a special live broadcast on Sunday.

He said, "If you are looking for the Eastern Security Network, please go into the nearest forests and make sure you have written your will because you will die there.

"Once you raise a gun, you won't bring it down without being successful or being killed. It doesn't matter the intelligence agency you are working for and the language you are trying to use. We are pursuing freedom, and the zoo (the government) does not understand peaceful agitations.

"Now that we have done what you (the South-East governors) were not able to do, which is the ESN, to support (us) is a problem because the Fulani masters would be angry. We must prepare for a revolution, a very bloody one. If you don't know what is involved in a revolution, please don't come out.

"We won't allow Fulani terrorists from Senegal and Mali to take over our land. Instead of this yam not to cook, let all the firewood finish. Things are going to happen."

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Thursday, vowed that no other regional outfit will be allowed to operate alongside the Eastern Security Network, ESN, in the Southeast.

Kanu made the remark while issuing a warning to Southeast governors to jettison the proposed new security outfit to be launched soon in the region.

The IPOB leader, who spoke through the group’s spokesman, Emma Powerful said the proposed security outfit was intended to counter ESN.

He also vowed that IPOB will resist any Miyetti Allah vigilante group formed in the Southeast.

A statement by Powerful said: “We the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of our great Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, wishes to warn South-East Governors particularly Gov Dave Umahi to jettison the proposed new security outfit they intend to launch based on the advice of the Fulani-controlled Federal Government of Nigeria.

“We know that their intention is to counter the formidable Eastern Security Network, ESN, protecting and defending Biafrans against terrorists and invaders responsible for the senseless attacks, raping and wanton killings of our mothers, wives and sisters in our farmlands and forests.

“We warn these clueless governors in our region not to heed the mischievous advice and attempt by Miyetti Allah and Sokoto caliphate intended to compromise the security of Biafrans. Any Miyetti Allah vigilante group under any nomenclature formed by Dave Umahi and his fellow Efulefu governors as well as Ohaneze will be resisted by the people of Old Eastern region.

“We, therefore, advise every Biafran father and mother to caution their children against joining Umahi’s vigilante group as such an outfit is already the enemy of the people. Their agenda is sinister and anti-Biafra.”

It is #OBIGBO not Oyigbo. The Governor Of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed  said on national TV that all the Fulani in Africa are related, their home land is Nigeria and they will relocate some of them to Rivers state but nobody paid attention.

Governor Wike does not even know it!

It is most betraying that Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State could so condescend to relabel and reinforce the concocted proscription of IPOB activities in the state on Friday 23rd October 2020 due to some covert interests. 

As an educated, enlightened and intelligent lawyer, it was expected that the governor who has knowledge of political permutations and clandestine policies of Abuja-based cabals, ought to have clinically distanced himself from the antecedents of politicians who derive pleasure in victimizing and killing the same people they claim to govern.


The present stance of the governor, clearly depicts the hidden hawkish identity of a man that is out to fight his own people that are protesting against unjust governance, tagging it IPOB affair. But be that as it may, no Northern Governor, with all the mischievous, vamparic, destructive and killing activities of the Islamic Fulanis, has come out albelt publicly, to proscribe or condemn their people. 

Not even the Rivers State Governor has deemed it fit to place media attack or State Government order on the clearly marauding Fulani killer herdsmen that are pillaging and killing the citizens. The reinforcement of the proscription of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), which is a globally recognized legal organization is to say the least, most treacherous.

The huge sum of fifty million naira (N50,000,000) bounty earmarked for anyone who would help provide information that will lead to the arrest of one Mr. Stanley Mgbere is ridiculous. The protesting youths in Rivers State are dying out of hunger and penury and such a colossal sum has never been staked to round up the killing and destroying Fulani Islamists in the state where the governor is constitutionally the chief security officer.

Part of the broadcasted statements read: "Accordingly, as from today 23rd October 2020, the Rivers State Government has: 

(i) Outlawed IPOB from existing and or operating in Rivers State or any part thereof in line with the proscription order of the Federal Government.

(ii) No form of procession and agitation by IPOB or any of it's affiliates is allowed to take place in Rivers State or any part thereof, henceforth.

(iii) Security agencies are hereby directed to stop any form of procession or agitation by IPOB in Rivers State or any part thereof and arrest and prosecute any person or group that identifies with the membership or activities of IPOB in the State.

(iv) Government will issue an executive order to strengthen and ensure the effective enforcement of these measures.

(v) I will be meeting with all leaders of youth groups and community development committees in the State on Monday 26th October 2020, to take wholistic measures to counter and stop all IPOB activities in Rivers State.

(iv) Mr. Stanley Mgbere from Onne is hereby declared wanted for leading members of the banned IPOB to cause the recent violence and destruction of lives and property in Onne, Eleme Local Government Area.

(vii) A ransom of N50,000,000.00 will be given to any person with useful information that would lead to the arrest and prosecution of the said Mr. Stanley Mgbere.

(25) I wish to appeal to the people of Oyigbo Local Government Area to remain calm and not to take the laws into their hands despite the intense provocation as government has the capacity to deal with the challenge and ensure the safety of lives and property in the Local Government Area".

It is shameful that a supposed lawyer can arrogantly and blatantly come out to utter such statements to the hearing of the general public. This whole thing is really ridiculous that the hard earned admiration, support and cooperation gained  from the people over the years, are unfortunately being  rubbished through the chosen crass desire to go the way of typical average Nigerian politicians. Numerous individuals from across Nigeria used to admire both his political line of thoughts and actions but believing the cheap lies about IPOB and calling an indigenous people group terrorists is a game taken too far. 

People's reactions to the unfortunate speech on Facebook tell it all. Just hope it is the same Mr. Stanley Mgbere you placed a ransome for his arrest and IPOB that are equally responsible for the shooting and destruction of lives and properties at Abuja, Lagos and other cities across Nigeria? It is okay to entirely condemn the actions of hoodlums who have taken advantage of the peaceful protests of well meaning Nigerian youths due to the age long frustrations and brutality that Nigerian politicians orchestrated through years of maladministration.

Accusing IPOB of carrying out violence against the innocent people of Rivers State is totally misplaced. Imminent victory beckons despite the array of systemic gang ups against the freedom of the people. The civilized global community will soon come to terms with reality against all odds.

The Indigenous People of Biafra has said that all businesses, motor parks and means of transportation will be shut in South-East Nigeria on October 1 over fears of potential terrorist attacks on the region and also to protest the Nigerian Government’s refusal to allow the region peacefully secede.

IPOB called on all Nigerians in the South-West to also participate in the sit-at-home protest and avoid crowded areas over intelligence pertaining to an impending attack.

Recall that on October 1, 2010, when Nigeria was commemorating its 50th anniversary, two car bombs went off in the capital city of Abuja.

The group in a statement by its media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful said, “To those who think we can drop our agitation for Biafra because of their promise of Nigeria President of Igbo extraction in 2023 must be smoking mind-bending drugs because their hallucinations will not get them anywhere.

“Take your useless ‘Igbo Presidency’ and give us Biafra. Biafra is non-negotiable and very soon we shall restore our dream republic.

“This order which is a peaceful protest of our discontent with the injustices, misrule, oppression, genocidal killings and other atrocities perpetrated by the Government of Nigeria against Biafrans and other indigenous peoples in this British-created contraption must be observed throughout Biafraland.

“Any governor, political office holder in Biafraland or anywhere in Nigeria who thinks he can endear himself to their caliphate masters by issuing any counter directive must understand that what awaits every traitor in the history of the liberation struggle is inevitably waiting for them.

“Those using the cover of political office to surrender Ebonyi State to the murderous Miyetti Allah terrorists and their counterparts using the name of inconsequential and roundly compromised socio-cultural groups to issue statements designed to attract Fulani patronage must be made to understand that treachery never pays.

“All markets and business premises in Biafraland must remain closed from 6:00am to 6:00pm on October 1. The same way, Biafran traders outside Biafraland should stay away from their shops and business environment on that day.

“All roads in Biafraland must be deserted. Every motor-park should be under lock and key, it must remain closed. Motorists, tricycle and motorcycle operators should keep off all roads in Biafraland.

“More importantly, parents and guardians should not make the mistake of allowing their children to step outside or gather in large numbers as terrorists are planning a deadly attack on that very day.”

Nigeria’s music legend, Onyeka Onwenu, has said that she would not be afraid to go back to the South East, if the planned Republic of Biafra, being canvassed by some people in the region, is realised.

The popular artiste stated this at the pre-book launch media briefing held on Tuesday, in Lagos.

Onyeka, popularly known as Elegant Stallion due to her exploits in the nation’s music scene, spanning decades, stated that though she’s married to a Yoruba man, from the South West, and her children, from the region, that would never stop her love and fondness for her place of origin.

She, however, charged Nigerians to play less on tribalism, but focus on the positives inherent in the different ethnic groups, making the country.

The music icon also called on the people of the South East, especially those in the diaspora, on the need to develop the region; which she said had continued to suffer marginalization and neglect from the government at the centre.

“If we do have to split, I want to go back home. Even if we don’t split, I want to do so much in the South East. We are neglected in the South East. And I’m telling every Igbo people, whatever you are doing outside Nigeria, go home, and do something at home.

“It doesn’t take away whatever you are doing in Lagos, Abuja or Port Harcourt. You are free to live and do business wherever you are but remember back home. We are being marginalized for a long time. And our people have always done things for themselves.

“We built the Imo Airport. I was part of the process. It remains the only airport in the country that was built by the citizens and handed over to the Federal Government.

“My father went to school abroad, people in his home town collected money and supported him. That’s how we do things, we are communal people. So, I’m not afraid to go back home,” she stated.

Onyeka explained that the new book, titled ‘My Father’s Daughter’, is designed to give inspiration to the younger ones, especially the younger feminine gender, since it encapsulates her low and high moments, through life.

According to her, the book, which would be formally unveiled on Thursday, October 1, this year, would be in e-version and audio and accompanied with some classics of the music legend.

NIGERIA–THE URGENT NEED FOR A REFERENDUM PRIOR TO THE 2023 ELECTIONS.

Dear countrymen and women, it is now time to boldly jettison the 1999 Constitution of the Federal (actually Unitary) Republic of Nigeria (as amended) which was not a product of the collective will of the Peoples of Nigeria. The said Constitution was decreed into existence by the General Abdulsalami Abubakar administration, after the annulment of June 12, 1993 general elections, which was won fair and square by the late Bashorun Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola and the attendant contraptions that followed suit.

The 1914 forced amalgamation of the different Nation states which made up Nigeria and the successive years of exploitation of the peoples of the Southern parts of Nigeria by firstly the British Colonialists and thereafter by a Feudal minority of the Northern part of Nigeria which has entrenched poverty, underdevelopment, mediocrity, unemployment, wanton killings, terrorism, inequality, insecurity, injustice, ethnic Bigotry, religious fanaticism and breach of fundamental human rights.

The golden years of Nigeria were when we had The three regions, viz; Northern Region, Western Region and Eastern Region, with each region having its own Constitution which recognized the diversity in the culture, religion and peoples of Nigeria.

Nigeria as a Country also had its own Constitution.
Nigeria attained her independence from the British Colonialists in 1960 and became a Republic in 1963. We practiced Parliamentary system of government. There was an unfortunate military intervention in our national politics in 1966 and this was the time that a command structure unitary system of governance was smuggled into our politics, without the express consent of all ethnic nationalities.

A bitter Civil War was fought from 1967 to 1970 with millions of our people from Biafra massacred.
Since the end of the war the old eastern region have not been fully reintegrated into Nigeria. The declaration of no Victor, no Vanquished by the General Yakubu Gowon administration, was a mere lip service proclamation.

Successive military dictators ruled Nigeria from 1970 to 1979 when Nigeria introduced a purported Presidential System of Government in name, but which is unitary in character and practice.
The 1979 Constitution which was decreed into existence by General Olusegun Obasanjo was in operation from 1979 to 31st of December 1983 when Major General Muhammadu Buhari truncated our democracy.

The Major General Buhari’s regime, was also overthrown by General Ibrahim Babangida, who ruled from 27th of August 1985 until he was forced to step aside on the 26th of August 1993. A contraption called Interim National Government (ING) of Chief Earnest Adegunle Shonekan, was in power from 27th of August,1993 to 17th of November,1993 when General Sani Abacha seized power and ruled with an iron fist until he died on the 8th of June,1998 inside Aso Rock. General Abdulsalami Abubakar, another military dictator ruled Nigeria from the 9th of June 1998 to the 29th day of May 1999.

Nigeria has been operating a supposed Presidential system under the 1999 Constitution with successive Government's from Chief Olusegun Obasanjo to the current President; Major General Muhammadu Buhari. The presidential constitution, which is unitary in character, has failed the Peoples of Nigeria. We, The People, did not write this constitution. It is too expensive, wasteful, and has not represented the yearnings and expectations of the oppressed peoples of the Oduduwa and Biafra nations.

From all indications, the current leadership of Nigeria is not, and has never been committed to the fundamental objectives and directives of the principles of statehood, policies of Federalism as enshrined in Chapter II of the Constitution that it derived its powers from. Our peoples are tired of the terrorism, insecurity, hopelessness, injustice, killings, unemployment, inequality, corruption, scandals, violence, oppression, extortion, and repression.

Whereas, our peoples are entitled to their inherent inalienable rights to Self-determination and dignity of their persons in accordance with Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human and Peoples Rights of 1948; Article 20 of the African Charter on Human and People's Rights, Article 1 of the International Convention Civil and Political Rights and the International Convention on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. Our aspiration is to build a viable, democratic and stable Nation for our Peoples and in this regard, we demand that there must be a referendum, so that our peoples can freely and fairly make a democratic choice, whether they want to continue with Nigeria as presently configured or seek their right to Self-determination before the 2023 General elections.

In order to prevent an implosion of sorts, we, on behalf of our people, therefore demand a proper referendum/plebiscite, to be conducted between now and the 1st of October,2021, in accordance with the Rights of Indigenous Peoples' all over all over the world under The Law as provided in the AU and the United Nations charters, to be supervised by Both The AU and the United Nations.
Copies of this jointly signed Release have been sent to these world bodies.

If, as we believe, our people choose Self-determination, The Next Natural Step would be the immediate activation of the processes and modalities, beginning from the 2nd of October, 2021, for the creation of the Odùduwà and the Biafran Nations out of the present but otiose Nigerian experiment, which started in 1914.

We shall begin the mobilization of our respective peoples toward the actualization of the quest for freedom and life more abundant at a certain date in the future, when peaceful negotiations for applicable terms of separation would have been concluded with our respective residual ethnic nationalities and neighbors.

We wish to place on record our hope that Major General Buhari and his Fulani peoples of West Africa will heed this peaceful democratic demand in a timely manner. In the event our Forthright and Steadfast advocacy is denied, our peoples are hereby notified to commence preparations for series of passive activities that will demonstrate our resolve to be in control of our affairs. Towards this end, our peoples are hereby called upon to undertake the following:

1. Stay away from participation and involvement in any sham or nebulous October 1, 2020; 60th independence anniversary activities as may be mounted by the Unitary Government of Nigeria.

2. In specific terms, we hereby call on the peoples of our territories, and indeed all peoples of Nigeria yearning to be free from internal colonization to be prepared to Stay-At-Home on October 1, 2020. No one among us should play along with any celebration of 60 years of an imbalanced unequal country. Staying-At-Home means keeping safe and away for the inhuman and inhumane character of the present regime of Major General Buhari.

3. Our peoples in the diaspora are hereby enjoined to organize flag flying carnivals and peaceful rallies on October 1, 2020 in all cities across the world. A joint Biafra/Oduduwa event marking the beginning of our journey to freedom is to be celebrated into the following weeks. The whole world ought to witness a rekindling of self-awareness and our pride of place among the community of civilized peoples of the world.

4. All our peoples are to be on standby in readiness for further calls for peaceful and legal demonstrations of our resolve to be free from the failed Nigerian state. These calls will continue to be made for as long as it would be needful, up until our goals for self-determination are achieved.
We salute all of you our compatriots here at home and across the world.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Yoruba One Voice (YOV) have reiterated their resolve to achieve Biafra and Oduduwa Nations.

Warning of an implosion in Nigeria, they told the federal government to between now and October 1, 2021, conduct a referendum to allow citizens choose whether to leave or remain in the country.

This was contained in a joint release made available to DAILY POST on Friday.

It was signed by Sina Okanlomo, YOV General Secretary and Chika Edoziem, Head, IPOB Directorate of State.

The statement said Southern people were enduring life “with others, who do not share our own values, whose ways of life, mannerisms, ideology, are untoward, inimical, alien, hostile to our people.”

The bodies noted that it is time to boldly jettison the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended), “which was not a product of the collective will of the people.”

They said the constitution was decreed into existence by the General Abdulsalami Abubakar administration, after the annulment of June 12, 1993 general elections, “won fair and square by the late Bashorun Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.”

The signatories noted that the 1914 “forced amalgamation” has entrenched poverty, underdevelopment, mediocrity, unemployment, wanton killings, terrorism, inequality, insecurity, injustice, ethnic bigotry, religious fanaticism and breach of human rights.

IPOB and YOV said from all indications, the current leadership of Nigeria has never been committed to the fundamental objectives and directives of the principles of statehood, policies of federalism as enshrined in Chapter II of the constitution.

They stated that people of the South are tired of the terrorism, insecurity, hopelessness, injustice, killings, unemployment, inequality, corruption, scandals, violence, oppression, extortion, and repression.

The groups said if the people choose self-determination, there would be an immediate activation for the creation of Oduduwa and Biafran Nations out of Nigeria from October 2, 2021.

IPOB and YOV told Southern people to stay away from Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary activities.

They told them to be free from “internal colonization” and to stay at home on October 1, 2020.

The statement told agitators to be ready for further calls for peaceful and legal demonstrations.

Killings in Nigeria: Presidency attacks TY Danjuma, IPOB

The Nigerian presidency has lambasted Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, former Nigerian Chief of Army Staff.

In a statement on Thursday, presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, declared that Danjuma is not “a natural source of pressure for good governance”.

His comment was in reaction to the letter by UK lawmakers to the Commonwealth on the killings in Nigeria.

The legislators disclosed that they met and spoke to Danjuma who told them that the country’s Armed Forces “are not neutral”, and that they “collude in ethnic cleansing”.

Without mentioning the former General’s name, Shehu said during religious and ethnic riots in two states in 2001 and 2002, Nigerians “were violently and ruthlessly put down by the military under his authority”.

This, he noted, caused the deaths “of thousands of lives and the displacement of some further 50,000 persons.”

Shehu wrote: “It is important to stress to our partners and colleagues in the United Kingdom that not all who press them have the best interests of either democratic governance or peaceful coexistence in mind. For example, the former Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, named and quoted in the letter as a source on military matters, relinquished that position some 40 years ago – in 1979.

“He was last in a government position 17 years ago in 2003 (as Minister of Defence). At that time, religious and ethnic riots erupted in two states of the federation, (2001 and 2002), these were violently and ruthlessly put down by the military under his authority, leading to the loss of thousands of lives and the displacement of some further 50,000 persons. He is, therefore, not a natural source of pressure for good governance.”

Shehu also accused the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) of embarking on a global campaign against Nigeria.

“Another, signatory to the letter, is well-known to be associated with the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, a Nigerian-blacklisted terrorist group. The IPOB is running a well-known (source-of-financing-unknown) international campaign intended to damage the reputation of Nigeria and its government in order to further their cause of “independence”. He jumped bail in Nigeria. He frequently travels on a Nigerian passport but urged his supporters to burn their passports!

“The IPOB barely mention their aims in their publicity; neither do they mention that their own leadership do not claim to be Christian. Yet, their media and lobbying campaign has focused near-exclusively on promoting matters related to Christianity in Nigeria, promulgating false claims that a government with 50 per cent of its cabinet and 50 per cent of its State Governors who are Christian somehow works against Christians”, Shehu added.

How do you permanently end the Biafra agitation?
A Yoruba friend asked me: Under what conditions would you support "One Nigeria" and let go of the Biafra agitation and let it die down and finally laid to rest for good?
Here was my response:
1. Close down Lagos ports and open up Igweocha, Calabar, Onitsha and Warri ports.
2. Cancel all direct and major connecting flights to Lagos and Abuja airports, only local connecting flights will be allowed. While this is being done, open up Enugu, Calabar, Owerri, Asaba, Uyo and Igweocha to international flights direct and major connecting flights.
3. Ask all international and diplomatic missions to move their embassies and consulates from Lagos, Kano and Abuja to Enugu, Igweocha and Calabar.
4. All federal governments’ agencies in Lagos and Abuja shall be relocated to Enugu, Igweocha and Calabar. CBN, NNPC, e.t.c shall and must relocate to Igweocha, Calabar and Enugu.
5. All multinational companies in Lagos and Abuja, shall and must relocate their offices to Igweocha, Calabar and Enugu.
6.All oil companies must relocate their head offices to Igweocha, as the oil capital of Nigeria.
7. Let the northern children gain admission into federal schools with 300 score points while the South Eastern Children should gain admission with only 20 score points .
8. Let all federal road projects in the North/SW should be handled by local companies and the ones in the SE/SS be handled by Julius Berger and foreign construction companies.
If these conditions can be fulfilled and implemented for 50years, we can try one Nigeria and let see if the North and SW will like it for a month.
Meaning that Yorubas and Hausas needing to get international visas shall travel to Igweocha, Calabar or Enugu to do that. Same with flying or connecting flights, same with shipping and importing their goods, etc
The Yoruba friend replied: You can’t be serious, this is wickedness and I said... Really? Don’t you think South South and South Eastern part of Nigeria have been suffering and enduring this very same wickedness for over 50 yrs?

I said, that’s the problem with One Nigeria, those who are benefiting from it, love it and would love to maintain the status quo.
Let each region develop at her own pace, with Airport, Seaports, industries, major projects open to be developed in any part of Nigeria without government interference or strangulation due to tribalism and nepotism!
Let Nigeria be fair to ALL irrespective of tribe, religion, and place of birth. Let there be true federalism and resources control, with the elimination of quota system and federal character in Nigeria.
Let's have equal respect for one another irrespective of where the person is coming from in Nigeria. That is what Biafra agitation is all about.

We go about with AK47 without being molested. Yet we have arrested Igbo youths and imprisoned them for shouting Biafra. We are the Fulani, we do whatever we want. We snapped pictures with our killer brothers, recruited them into the military and police, but for gathering in Emene, Enugu State for a Meeting, we gunned down 21 Igbo youths and made sure non of their leaders coughed.

We shall never allow them take control over their destiny. We must keep making sure the rogues among them rule them. Criminals who doesn't care about their people or have regard for them. People we can control, those that will rule for us and enjoy accelerated looting of their people's resources. That's the type of leaders we the Fulani will gift them. Why do you think their governors rejected Regional Security and embraced our packaged Community Policing? They are our proud slaves.

With CAMA we are taking over the resources of your Churches. That's after we must have taken over your waterways and its surrounding lands. We are Fulani. We own the senate.

Didn't you see what happened in Imo state? Those Igbo people voted for Emeka Ihedioha and we gave them Hope Uzodimma, our shameless stooge. A known thief who has case with our dogs the EFCC. We have been doing this since after the genocide we committed against them, and we will keep doing it.

Yes, we own the EFCC, the army, the police and even the Air force etc. They all belonged to us. Is that not why they are all headed by we the Fulani, with our intellectual slaves from the East and West defending us. They say on our behalf that it doesn't matter if the Fulani takes charges of every organization in Nigeria. That what matters is their performance. That we should all rise above tribe and stop seeing a Fulani, but rather see a Nigerian. They are slaves and we pay them with their own resources.

We are the Fulani, we take whatever we want. We are sacking villages, killing Christians, occupying and renaming their villages and there is nothing anyone of you can do. Rise up and we will bring you to your kneels using your own brothers. That's how powerful a Fulani is.

They say they are sophisticated, intelligent and rich, yet they are fools and we the Fulani controls them. Is that not why we own their oil wells and give them pipe line guard contract. And they are happy and doing it well. Pathetic slaves.

We are the Fulani and we will become indigenes of every state in Nigeria. We have become indigenes in Benue and will soon become indigenes in Ebonyi and Enugu. After which the Koran will be dipped into the ocean. And your brothers will make all of these possible.
