Anyone that needs the DL authentication letter urgently from FRSC can send me a PM so that I can share a contact that I got recently. I don't think it would be appropriate to post his phone number and email address here.

Based on available information, you may just be required to arrange for courier service if you don't have someone to pick it up for you in Abuja.

IMO, that is still cheaper than paying $50 to obtain it in Ottawa, especially if you are still in Nigeria.

I'm interested. Unable to send you a PM

Good evening all. Great thread here. I've already read and learnt so much.
My Passport is in Accra. They are busy taking their time.
I hope to land 2nd May, if them gree expedite.
My wife is in Calgary already on a PGWP that's supposed to expire on 5/5/18- (tied to the expiry date on her former passport; but she's only used one year of the 3 years it's supposed to be).
I hope her landing will not be complicated. I hope she wont be asked to travel and come back and land?
Also, should there be any issues if I cant make it before that date and her work permit and visa expires? Her passport is also in Accra.

Any Architects in the house? What's the professional transition experience been like? I've seen the credential registration process on CACB and it's not beans. What jobs can architects do while trying to get certified? I'm quite good with CAD.
I've looked at doing some quick- PM, HSE etc courses after landing and seen they don't have all this our Naija 2 weekends PMP, and certificate courses can take half of ones landing funds.
No mind my plenty question- Any info i can get will be useful. Builders and engineers- Pls also help. We are professional brothers.

Anyone with info on living in Kamloops BC? I intend to start a Pgd program at Thompson rivers Uni, next year. How easy is it to transit from Kamloops to Calgary. I may leave my family in Calgary during the pgd.

Thanks

Hello All. I am new to this forum. I have been reading through and I must commend how cooperative, helpful and supportive you all are here.
I got my ITA 10 days ago and I'm arranging my documents.
However,I'm worried about my NOC - Architecture being a regulated profession.
Do I have to go through the Canadian Architects registration process to be successful in my APR?
Was i right to do my ECA with WES, rather than the CACB?
I have 15 months experience as a construction manager and supervisor, but 6.5 years as an Architect. I'm wondering if I should just use one of the other two as they are not regulated.
I would appreciate any help I can get on the process for regulated professions, especially- Architecture. Thanks.

Also, I have half my POF in my wifes account in Canada (she's there on PGWP, but I surprisingly got a higher CRS score and the ITA). Does the POF have to be in the PA's name or we can prepare a document stating that our funds are mutual and shared?

Thanks again.
