Hello Nairalanders,

For those of us who sat for the last FIRS test in October and were not called for the second stage, I want to assure you that there is still hope. I have a friend who works in their HR, he informed me that those invited for the subsequent stages applied for higher positions, e.g. Managers, regional accountant, Director e.t.c. for those that applied for lower levels e.g Tax officers, they would definitely be called later as their next stage would be interview and then appointment would be given to those that are successful. He also informed me that it is strictly on merit.

I urge all of us that are hopeful to therefore pray that are successful in the first stage we wrote in October.

Congrats on landing the Zenith Job. Zenith is a good place to be so also Access. Your take home pay in Access Bank is 174k. You have also your medical of 400k which is not part of your take home. You could also be eligible to appraisal bonus of 526k.

On the working condition, I must tell you that Access Bank is tasking. But it is a bank that believes in what you can do. The  bank doesn't care if you are an ET. It is only in Access Bank that ETs run Branches as Relationship Managers.  An Access person is a warrior. If you can work in Access bank, you can Work any where. You get the best training in Access School of Banking Excellence. They give you your certificate and Transcript on your graduation day. If you want to really Build yourself, then I advice you to go for Access otherwise follow your mind.

My sister is also an ET in Zenith Bank. She got the Job recently but I always tell her that It is an opportunity of a lifetime for one to be opportune to attend the Access School of Banking Excellence. 

I graduated from access training School a couple of months ago and there has not been any regret being an Access warrior!

@Kennamas, I not so sure as at now, since I am still in training school.I learnt the pay is 2.6 Million per annum but 400K is perfomance based which makes it 2.2 million. If you divide 2.2 mil by 12, it gives you 183k per month Gross salary. Tax will be deducted, pension contribution as well as National Housing Fund Contribution to FMBN.The take home at the end of every month is about 122K.I think there is good prospect of rising fast if you work very hard. It is a growing bank. The rate at which the Bank is growing is fast. They give the best training to their entry level staff (you spend 4 months in training School). They will Bond you for 2 years so that you can leave untill after 2 years. The reason is because Other banks run after access bank's trainees with higher offer because they see them as the best in the industry.
@emeka 22, just keep on praying, they will still call you. New set of trainees are entering training school almost after every 2 weeks.

My prayer for those yet to get is that God will reward their effort with success in Jesus' name, For weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

We have submitted application last year for LNG's Graduate Trainee. Has any body gotten any information as to when they will shortlist and when the aptitude test will be coming up?

The Batch A 2007/2008 NYSC Orientation camp will open on 6th March, 2007. Camp will last for 21 days, hence Batch A's orientation camp will end on tuesday 27th March, 2007.
