I've tried the Free AVG antivirus. After it scanned my PC and identified some problem factors, it asked me toregister before it could remove those infections. On attempting to register, I discovered it costs money. I was vexed, considering that it was touted to be FREE. Or is there a way of circumventing the payment aspect? Pls put me through. |

Jim Iyke, you seem to be advertising for Bourdex but you're being economical with the truth. I once inquired from their head office @ Aba and was told that in addition to all what you've posted, one'ld need to pay for some other equipments which would cost quite a lot. |

I can't argue that BARCA has the largest fan base in Naija. However, you must note that BARCA fan base is not open to every Tom, Dick & Harry. It's for a selected few. Albeit, BARCA remains the best team in the world. Wait till next season, you go believe. |

Besides, we've got the most organised student body-National Assciation of Computer Science Students (NACOSS). So come aboard if you haven't and have a cool ride to the top. Pls everyone should note that NCS conference will be coming in June. Endeavor to attend and catch the flame of IT. |

Hello everyone, I‘ve been enjoying your contributions to this thread. Well, I’m an avid reader; at least I was able to read through the last four/five pages of this topic, lol. Well, IMHO, the majority of Nigerians do not read. If you doubt me, observe the libraries, most of them are shutting down due to lack of patronage though a good number of them operate gratis. An average Nigerian student would hardly, if ever, venture to read out of his area of study thereby resulting in narrow mindedness. Ever watched the Nigerian edition of “Who wants to be a millionaire”? The average performance is abysmal. Given the level of difficulty, a good reader should be able to walk out with at least N500,000. I thought of doing something in my capacity to stem this tide by setting up a readers’ club in my university, where we lend out books to interested persons and happily people are beginning to embrace the concept. Anyone out there who can support this move should please reach me on Jackelony@yahoo.com. Unfortunately, an uninformed mind is a deformed mind and this will impart negatively on the quality of our future leaders. Or what do you think? |
